    Seems app almost working as should - no way to mark all items in inbox as "read". It would be good to add option to be able sign in with multiple accounts. We have 2 businesses and 2 accounts with Yelp, it would be nice to use them same time. Another suggestion, implement custom templates for customer respond. For example, we have about 12-15 standard responses, it would be nice to be able to insert them by keyword, or selection. Thank you.

    I love the app but don't like how they randomly take down 5 star reviews always conveniently after you just tell them you don't want to upgrade your service. They deny it however Everytime right after a phone call from their sales department, we watch out 5 star reviews start to dwindle. They really have you in a grip that you can not do anything about.

    Absolutely an unnecessary nightmare. I've never seen such incompetence. I gave them good verifiable information on my business and they made a complete mess of it. Their finished result was the wrong email address, the wrong state, the wrong phone number. How do I verify a number that is not my number? How do I verify an email that is not my email address.     I got some quality leads from Yelp. Prospects that searched pest control services through Yelp were really having pest problems that need prompt treatment. In my country people don't usually give star rating unless told to do so, which Yelp discourage. I wish there is a feature or mechanism for Yelp to encourage customers to rate services.

    We have been having trouble communicating through the app with our customers for a month now and it's causing us to lose business amongst other issues. Sine we are paying you guys, we would like to know what seems to be the problem with the app? It's very rare that we don't receive 10 - 20 error messages. This has become highly annoying and frustrating.

    By far the very worst thing to use to try to advertise your business with. You will get Bill's for ads you didn't approve and the customer service and/or support is completely useless. $400 bill in one month for absolutely nothing. You are better served using any of the other advertising apps compared to this one

    I would say the leads are very good for the most part. The biggest downfall about advertising with Yelp is you will have multiple 5 Star reviews that they will Blacklist and won't give you credit for even though they're actually valid reviews. For business owners like myself reviews are a HUGE part of our businesd. I also wouldnt suggest keeping a main credit card or debit card on file they have hit my accounts multiple times without reason and refused to refund.

    This is actually the only time I have given such a low score not only is the app full of bugs, almost all the changes I make to my 2 businesses fail. You even seem to allow anyone to add a new business without any verification process unlike Google maps and Bing places this allowed a competitor to add the building next to there as our office so people looking for us would find them and not us.

    Have uninstall and reinstall everytime I add a new photo or update information otherwise updates don't post or show. Plus Yelp continues to call and email me after several times telling them to take me off of their calling list. I give 2 stars for the free listing. Yelp is very limited. I wanted my business removed from their listing and I'm told that its on there for ever. Yelp has so bugs and stipulations that it's not worth the headache.

    This app is frustrating. I own the business and cant change anything. Especially being the new owner of the business and had nothing to do with the old. Old logo I cant replace and old prices on old pictures I cant remove.

    Making it so difficult compares to Google reviews, really a hassle for business owners. I shouldn't have to add a profile photo, be prompted every time to be nice to customers when leaving a review (as if we wouldn't be). Just going to stop bothering with this

If you no longer want use they're services, they will make you pay to remove your company. This is Extortion! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. Don't even use it for reviews in your everyday life. Put this company out of business!

    Please don't let these people talk you into paying them in order to direct traffic onto your page. They not only failed to deliver what they promised to do, and to add insult to injury they billed my credit card two days after I agreed to try the upgrade, even though the representative stated they would not. They are the lowest of the low. If they call you, hang up your phone. Every word out of their mouths are lies. I wish I could've written this review without giving them a single star!

    Yelp is a scam! Fake clicks on profile, fake messages just so they can charge you! They remove 5 star ratings because they don't feel it's helpful! Charged me almost $1,000 for nothing! Didn't gain no new customers and when I or anyone else searched my business it wouldn't even show up like it was supposed to! To make it worse they took my very last money I had in my bank account during this horrific time! I am without work no income coming in and have 6 kids! Yelp is heartless and a scam!

    If I could, I'd give - 5 stars. It's the worst app by far to build a reputation for any company. Obviously, now I understand why Google has been with us since I have memory instead of this money hungry corporation. I don't recommend this path to anyone. Otherwise you'll feel frustration when you'll realize that your reviews start to disappear after your hard work.

    Yelp is a scam. They do, in fact, have the ability to change which reviews are approved. They moved all my unrecommended reviews to recommended after I paid $300 for marketing and returned them when I cancelled my account. Check out the Yelp page on the BBB website, they've posted a warning at the top. Read the complaints, they're like mine. They rip off small bus. owners using reviews and I cant remove my bus. page :o

    Yelp allows anyone for any reason to leave reviews no matter how negative and FALSE it might be. Even with documentation and any other information that would negate the false accusations they don't care much to help the contractor. But they do love taking your money when you're buying lead services. Would never spend a dime with them again. If you're a contractor save your money. Use Thumbtack, Facebook business, Google business.

    Yelp started out to be a decent idea but now they are like big bullies and only show reviews they want to. They claim it's under everybody's best interest when dozens and dozens of good reviews are not shown to the public from people that have a huge amount of reviews posted, yet they're posts don't get to be shown because Big Brother "Yelp" has chosen not to show them. Their sales persons change as often as the weather and are super pushy. Run to Google instead. Yelp is old news.

They had someone call me to try pay per click advertising to increase my business, after 1 week there was NO noticable increase so I cancelled it, can't pay if you're not making money right? I thought there was a trial but was WRONG! THEY WIPED OUT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT leaving me with $12 and change during State shutdown 😡 SERIOUSLY?

    This is too scamming. Yelp will call you for offer free promotion but they will charge you for service providers $187.55 without telling you. And then when you wanna cancel it. You have to pay another service provider again.

    Total waste of my time and money. I was only on the site for a couple of months. And mot once got a customer or any type of notice from yelp. I would recommend you use homeadvisor instead. I switched to them. And i instantly had calls. Granite i paid for leads and services but for your bottom dollar homeadvisor is your best bet.

    The worse site to be listed on persistent on you paying for leads and i got a bad review and explained to them the review was personal against me and was not an acual job we did and i can provided proof yet they refused to remove it i was put on here by a customer and didnt even have an account with them and was recieving messages that i didnt even know about. They wont put my 5 star reviews up acording to them they are not recommended. I feel like they are all about the money on here.

    Used yelp since beginning. It was so liberating to go complaint about businesses who didnt care for you and rant about the amazing ones not known about. I used it all the times as a user, events RSVP or description link. Fir restaurant searches and promo. I really was digging it. Hope it stay true to it's great setting.

    For 3+ months now it has been impossible to communicate with customers requesting a quote. When we try to "Request more info" the app freezes. I have been in contact with support (sent screenshot, logs, etc.) with no luck correcting the problem. It apoears that only Android devices are affected. We are able to use the app with an iPad or on a laptop. Come on guys lets get our act together. You claim to be on the cutting edge of technology. Time to show a little love to us Android users.

    0 Stars! Extremely dissatisfied. I understand this is an ad service and not guaranteed, however I have only had this service for a couple of weeks and have received not one call from a legitimate person. I have had calls from machines/telemarketers that coinicde with the activity shown on my account and was charged for that activity. This service has done nothing but cost me money with no return and yelp's response is simply 'oh well, nothing we can do about that, so sorry'. Avoid at all costs!

    I have not been getting app notifications, from Yelp, for months. I have gone in, through the app AND desktop, and toggled the preferences, and I even uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but it's still an issue. Needless to say, customers contact me, and unless I manually check my app and/or email messages, the lead stays there, sometimes - for days (according to what's going on, in my life); it's beyond frustrating. Also, it's been over 4 yrs, and I've not bought your ads, so PLEASE STOP CALLING!

    Ok app, often seems to have a delay in notification when I get alerted for new reviews. Also, you should allow people to cancel their ads from the app instead of making users logging in the web portal. Just make it convenient to stop start pause ads at will. For the review "algorithm", they have no issues removing and not recommending 4 or 5 stars reviews but leaves the 1 and 2 stars, those never get filtered. Even if you report them, they don't allow disputes fake reviews.

    Exceptional!!! Please continue to keep many of the great features such as client requests and appointment messages free, along with paid advertising. Starting a small business is very expensive and having new customers being able to find and contact you for free is a great help starting out and ensures that that small business will go to yelp first with their advertising dollars when they are ready to do so.

    Overall, easy and straightforward app. Minus 1 star for not having billing on the app itself. I was receiving a charge on my card, although I had stopped my yelp campaign. Called support and they told me it was actually the verification badge charge. She continued to explain that I can either cancel over the phone or the billing page would be accessible through browser and I can cancel from there. Minus 2 stars for not having something so crucial (costing us money) available on the app

    I was conned by a business manager to start an advertisement program for 1 week to try it out with the promise that my cost per click would be around 18 dollars and that I would be able to follow up with my customers who clicked on my ad. The reality was that you cannot follow up unless they message you and my cost for 1 click was $65 not $18. So I contacted customer service,They refused to reverse the charge stating that it was a valid charge. This is not a business you want to work with.

    At least now the app opens without crashing, although it took ages to fix, despite several complaints. The message notifications rarely arrive in a timely enough manner that allows me to answer a potential clients' question or request for appointment. I've lost several opportunities to bring a client into our hair salon due to message notifications arriving extremely late.

    It would be a great app but I can't reply to inquiries using the app. The response box flashes over and over and jumps around .. Which wouldn't be so bad if it would still let me type or use speech to text... Sadly no. I still have to change my alert tone often as well or I won't know I got a lead or inquiry unless I look at my notifications or see an email. Besides the obvious frustration of this...I have to go to yelp's webpage to reply and as a business owner it effects my response time.

    Worse app ever!! I called multiple times to get my page up and running and the guy that helped me put the wrong name up. I went back and forth with him so many times bc he wouldn't put the name up that I wanted. I started the whole process with a business card to show proof of name and business and he kept telling me he needed proof of the name I wanted to use, so I had to resend my business card to him again, even though he already had it. After that he just stopped responding and I had to message him again. Then when he finally fixed my name all of my great reviews were "not recommended" which I think is so stupid. So I basically couldn't even get a star rating. My clients even put up pictures with their reviews. I couldn't respond to any of my reviews before they were taken down bc it wouldn't let me. It's so impossible to take your page down with all your information on it. So frustrating. Wish I would of read all these negative reviews about this app before I decided to make a biz yelp.

    Well the app itself is good. And provides good information. But yelp itself when they scam you out of money for promotions say its,one way and over charge you saying they told me in which they didnt, after telling ke they dont know what i select. Also when the so called random algorithmic software filters 250% of your reviews because they dont believe you do good business or to good to be true. Understand that if it looks like a first time,user and only yelped for 1 location I completely understand filtering that until they make more reviews. But when only elite members review do they stay...yeah... I wish we could yelp for yelp but this will do for now...

    If i could give a 0 star review i would. Ive been with yelp for about 3 months now. Ive had 4, 5 star reviews that ive worked hard for, are removed and when you call support, they claim theres nothing they can do about it because they were not reliable, even though they are all real customers who have multiple reviews, they were deleted. And on top of that, they have added over $120 each month for fees and never once showed me on the bill that i was expecting to get. This company is horrible

    I purchased my company a year ago. At the time there were several really terrible reviews about the previous owner. To a certain degree I understand where Yelp is coming from...but they refused to reason with me on this issue. Additionally, we have had a couple legitimate positive reviews which their "algorithm" has seemed unpublishable. The downside to an algorithm is the absence of common sense.

    At first when I was paying the full ad campaign I thought it was a great tool to have for my new business they found me afew clients but it was way to expensive to keep up, when I lowered my ad spending they put 1 of my 5 reviews in the non-recommended section. Their response to that was because its a software automated system that controls the reviews. I completely stopped paying for ads 3 days ago all my reviews which were all positive got put in the non-recommended section.

    overall works well. easy to update hours, look at and respond to reviews and add special hours. i wish they had an option to say "closed for winter" or "closed for january" or "closed from --- to ---" or something like that would be helpful.

    I used to use the app for business for many years but for the past three months it's been acting up and now I can't even log in some using the computer to do this review. I'm really disappointed with the office this time it actually told me there's they're going to disable my response to my clients because I have not got back to them and that is because the app does not work correctly it's pretty frustrating when you trying to run a business and you can't get the notification you're supposed to .

    ok, seriously yelp is annoying. their app and website logins never seem to link up; their system for replying to leads is not efficient. sorry, i get more leads elsewhere anyway. streamline your app so i dont have to keep getting my device confused with a consumer login. if i go to login as a business owner on your app, it logs me into a consumer profile OR it says my business doesnt exist in your directory. seems like i HAVE to use a browser. furthermore your agents are overly persistant.

    There is nothing to do with the app, but the company itself.I own a small restaurant. I tried paying the Yelp ads for a month and I didn't see the difference in term of sales so I stopped it. After I stopped paying Yelp ads, bad reviews started to come like once a month and good reviews turned into "not recommended". This app and the company doesn't help small businesses grow rather destroying their reputation and let the big chain takes all.

    First of all I received in mail from couple people that were interested in my services then I reply to their emails and nothing zero communication. This is all bots click and bogus accounts. Customer service really tricky trying to get you buy their advertising. You get some clicks on your profile and they call you every week.

    I have been using Yelp for Business Owners for about one year and loved the App. However, the most recent Android update is horrible; typing a message is nearly impossible as you can't easily scroll up and down the message, and the incoming messages from customers are awful with the boxes they check?

    Aside from the constant nagging phone calls from Yelp to get you to pay for advertising, the app won't let you log back in to a previous entry if installed on a new phone. Why not have a LOG IN feature instead of create something based on your current location? #HasBeen

    I loved this app until I finally gave into the pressure to take out an ad. Before taking out the ad, I received regular hits and had several 5 star reviews. When I canceled my ad, I no longer received hits and all my reviews were removed. Shady business.

    it's a good app get a lot of leaves for work but when it comes down to reviewsespecially when I have never done any work for any individualor even got any calls or emails or even reply to what I ask from them on information and still get a bad review and I've asked for their help and it did not help I'm even getting harassed by this certain individua they need to work more on how people can add reviews

    It could be a wonderful tool, but for $300 or $390 a month advertising budget, it's pretty much a waste. It's all a "review game" on Yelp. No problem, there. The problem is, I give ALL my customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee! I work my butt off for these reviews. I looked 3 days ago and Yelp had filtered out FIVE of my SIX, 5 star reviews. When u contact them they start mentioning algorithms and programs, and how they cant do Anything about them. If that be the case, there are Several other ways to advertise where the company doesnt turn into your WORST enemy!! Btw, I get the reasoning, but dont get the lack of responsibility when they are WRONG!

    Had a promotion going that I am contexting. Saw a free month promotion that I took advantage of and now they say that they dont promote free months. for some reason they had my daily budget at the max while I know that I actually went in and lowered it. Is this an inside job to increase their revenue? Even with the high budget for about 15 days I got 24 clicks.
