XScreenSaver is a large collection of historic and educational graphics demos. These all work as both Daydreams and Live Wallpapers. XScreenSaver is the standard screen saver collection shipped on most Linux and Unix systems. I released the first version in 1992. In 2006, I ported it to MacOS, and in 2012 I ported it to iOS. This is the Android port, 2016.

Buggy, unconfigurable for randomly switching between multiple screensavers. I've yet found a way to automatically have this run when charging. Same with any "daydream" app. Only way I can run this is launch one manually; Tasker, which I've paid for, but never got around to learn it, although when I once started it seemed so simple as heck; it could well be automated to launch this when charging and been idle for a while, but I haven't ever seen daydream working as should.

xscreensaver rocks, and this port has most of the hacks. No Starwars or Phosphor, sadly. Some of the gl hacks are jerky on my S8.

Excellent port. In case anyone is wondering, you configure them by going to Xsceeensaver>daydreams, selecting the one you want to configure, and pressing the Info button next to it. the changes instantly take effect on desktop and lock screen. Finally Goop, Atlantis and Boxfill (circles only) can greet me every day... dream of dreams

Hi. I have xscreensaver on my Mac also, but I experienced a problem there. Basically a couple days ago I was playing with my fingers on the trackpad while the screensaver was on and I messed it up. Now ALL of your screensaver only appear on the bottom left corner of the screen for some reason and I have no idea how to fix it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling xscreensaver, deleting and reinstalling the screensavers, resetting to default all options. Nothing worked. Help?

I will consider porting more cool screensavers from xlockmore. By the way why does Google treat it as a game? It's supposed to be the group of great screensavers.

Nice app, I'm really enjoying it! I just wish there was a way I could delete some of screen savers in the app that I don't care for without it uninstalling itself. Hopefully this will change...

Attempting to run the screensavers as daydreams produces a blank screen on my phone (Samsung Galaxy J3), please fix. Edit: Setting the phone to not lock instantly when the screen turns off seems to work until the screen locks

Occasional VRAM corruptions and some blackscreen when started, even after fiddling with their configs, but all in all not bad. Just wish they had landscape compatibility...
