A story-driven experience about two doctors traversing backwards through a dying man's memories to artificially fulfill his last wish.

Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.

Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.

This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.

And Johnny's last wish is, of course... to go to the moon.

"To the Moon", a story-driven RPG with pixel graphics, was originally developed six years ago for PC by Canadian producer Kan Gao and Freebird Games, his indie game studio.Rights to develop and publish the remastered mobile version of "To the Moon" were acquired by X.D. Network Inc.

The story of "To the Moon" unfolds before players, much like a movie. While the entire game has no battle system and can be completed in a few hours, the compelling story and moving original soundtrack resonated with players worldwide. On top of receiving overwhelmingly positive ratings, "To the Moon" received multiple awards from Gamespot, Metacritic, WIRED, and more, and was nominated for "I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" in the 2016 Steam Awards.

•	A unique & non-combat story-driven experience

•	Acclaimed original soundtrack that closely ties to the story

•	An espresso execution with zero filler and no time drains

Reviews From google play store

Immediately crashes as soon as it launches. Using a Razer Phone 2. Won't know how the game is until I'm able to play it. EDIT: The developers offered me a refund, but before I reached out they had fixed the game (at least on the platform I play). I haven't had a chance to play it much yet, but their openness and frequent updates are admirable.

Android 10 fix needed, but otherwise it's Perfect. Seriously, I played this first on PC a couple years ago and I remember finishing it in tears. The writing is stellar, the 8-bit graphics are perfectly suited to the story, and the music composed for this game is so amazing, I bought the soundtrack on Steam back in the day. Update - Sept 27th 2019: Game now launches, then initial dev logos appear, game appears to start then stall on endless loading. It's still a 10/10 game, just some bugs left.

Storywise- it's perfect and made me preety emotional at the end. Tbh one of the best story out there. Graphicswise- I always love pixelated graphics and i was playing it purely for story so it doesn't matter much. Although I have to say some of the areas which have nothing to do with gameplay were also well designed(example act 5) Gameplay- the only place where its lacking and i expected more of it Support Indie Devs by paying and i hope they release "finding paradise" and "a bird song" here too

A delightful and humorous experience with quite a few unexpected twists and an end that'll leave more than a good amount of y'all in tears (don't feel bad, I did too). If you're on the fence about getting this for any reason, the soundtrack's worth the price of admission alone, guaranteed you're gonna find yourself humming one or two tracks throughout your day

Keeps crashing at startup on my Essential PH-1 updated to Android 10. Developer released a new update, but it still crashes on my phone. Seems to be trying to request permission to save game data before immediately crashing. Manually adjusted permissions to grant access to storage but game still crashes. *Update* - The developer was very responsive and just released an update that fixed the crashing issue. The game seems great so far.

It's running well so far but why is the game telling me to buy it from the play store when I've already purchased it? Edit: besides this issue which I haven't tried to check. Does the developer have any plans to add gamepad support? I understand this game has been remade from the ground up but gamepad support should really be a no brainer here.

beautiful, beautiful story. i teared up several times throughout and cried at the end. the gameplay itself is unique but the story is just amazing. i'm so glad i finally played this game.

The game crashes immediately on Pixel 3a. I'm hoping that this is because of Android 10 and the game will be updated soon. 🤞 *Updated* (9/25/19) Still crashing on the Pixel 3a. I haven't noticed an update in the Play Store. *Updated* (9/28/19) Got the update. The game is working perfectly now. 👍

Give crashes on pixel 10 won't even open. Please fix or refund me. EDIT:- Thanks for the reply. I updated the app but the game will still not open. It has not been fixed.

Great short story. Not much of a game but a great interactive book. Rpg style. Loved it.

Doesn't work on Pixel 2XL updated to Android 10. Force closes every time. Thanks for trying X.D. unfortunately is not fixed yet. I updated it and it still Force closes. I erased storage and tried again, no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled, still Force closes.

So far the game is lovely, but it keeps asking me to purchase the genuine version when I already have. It's a bit jarring and I'm a bit perplexed by that.

Holy Macaroni! To the Moon is truly one of a kind game! It has a lot of funny moments, and tearjerker scenes, too! I hope to see more of Dr. Watts and Dr. Eva soon! I'll play Finding Paradise next!

Great game but it always tells me to "Buy the geniune" during the cinematics even though I already bought the game.. It's getting annoying.

Glad I finished the before the update, but game no longer loads after licensing access once updated to android 10. Beautiful story and music just upset it's no longer running

Does not open on Chrome book (Pixel Slate) Android 9. Immediately hangs then crashes.

UPDATE: Game fixed on Android 10 as of the latest update. The game has beautiful art and has been fun to play so far.

A simple yet fantastic game that has a lot of feelings-related stuff

Updated the app. It still doesn't work on Pixel 2. Now it crashes just after trying to open it.

Even after the sept 23rd update the game still does not work on my pixel 2xl. Keeps crashing.....

Great game, controls could use some work. Maybe a dedicated interact button

Update as of 9/24/19 makes the app crash on boot. Galaxy s8 Android 9.

Fantastic depth, story and pace.

Took a while to fix the problem. But it works fine now. Thank you.

Beautiful just a word to descrive this game😍 Well done dev!

Works on Android 10 now, thanks for fixing!

Update: Game now runs in Pixel 2, Android 10!

Engaging so far but keeps saying it's not genuine even though I got it from Google Play

Crashes immediately. Refund!

Okay you fixed the crash bug. Giving 5 stars now

Beautiful story and a wonderful adventure.

Great story driven game get the tissues ready.

This was an instant refund for me. Got crackling audio on the opening menu and with as important as the music is supposed to be I didn't want to play it on silent. Not the first game that has done this on my phone so maybe it's me but other apps work fine, just certain games have this problem.

The game is decently done, but it's WAY too slow. The dialog boxes, the animations, the speed at which the screen shifts when focusing on someone... All too slow. You should at least have the option to speed up the dialog boxes somehow.

Heart-breaking poignant! Beautiful game. I am a 48-year-old man and I cannot think about Johny and River without tearing up. The depth of the story is stunning, unexpected and beautiful. I never saw anything coming, could not believe the way the story teller wove the tale. I have a tear running down my cheek just thinking about it whilst writing this review. I bought into Johnny's story but I am moved to heart-break for River's. Her story is my takeaway and it broke my heart. Bravo!

Beautiful soundtrack and graphics, great repeated use of both music and pixel art to communicate connectedness, and fantastic story. Well designed, uplifting, and thought-provoking game that is well worth the money!

This "game" is just an interactive movie, where you wander from screen to screen to find 5 peaces on each... Them more movie, where people talk talk, talk... Store should have an "interactive fiction" area, would be worth 5* there

Thanks guys the game now loads.

Friendly flag to developers. Unable to run on Android 10. Heard great things about the game so looking forward to playing it and will update review.

Fun. The music, sound effects, and graphics capture you. The developer responds realized quickly to get any issues fixed and updated. thanks, Dev, for being johnny on the spot! ♥️ And it's definitely a five star game well worth your time and money.

The game crashes before loading on Google Pixel original and Android 10. Will update once I get a chance to play.

I even can't watch my phone through tears. I cry when I play it. I cry when I listen its music. I cry when I watch videos about it. This game is totally a masterpiece.

App crashes. Does not launch at all. Even after update for Android 10, app does not work.

The music is glitchy on Tab S6. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the story.

The only thing I truly dislike about this game is that Android users are currently being deprived of the sequel. It's 8 bit. You'll forget all about the resolution. The gameplay is uncomplicated. You won't care. It's a deep story, the music is nice and cleverly worked in, and you will want to play it again to see what you may have missed the first time. Totally worth getting. The game says wear headphones, but it's okay without, just play it.

Neil is probably my soulmate. Speaking of soul this game totally broke mine. Ever since i played 7yrs from now ive been looking for other games like it and i was definitely not disappointed. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. With most games like this i can usually figure out the story after playing for a minute but i had no idea where the game was going. I have mad respect for River

Wow. This has to be one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. It has been sat in my wishlist for a while, I am always a little apprehensive about paying for mobile games. Having seen some of the great reviews I finally decided to purchase it and I am so glad I did. I was emotionally invested from the get go. The music is absolutely beautiful and the story is wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed and will highly recommend. Thankyou for making the piece of art. ❤️

Bought this game yesterday and it does not load on my Pixel 2 XL with Android 10. Please fix or I'll have to request a refund.

This is not a game, it is a story made cumbersome by trying to make it vaguely interactive in a highly unintuitive way 😣. The controls are hideous, the gameplay pretty much non-existent... The music was enjoyable to begin with but soon became annoying - much like when you make the mistake of using your favourite song for your alarm and discover you start hating it within a day or two 🤔😤 my advice would be be to buy a nice book or a nice game and not to waste your time and money on this app that doesn't even seem to know what it actually is 😫. Failing that, go paint a wall or clean the toilet as you will probably get less frustrated by either of those activities!

A beautiful masterpeice. I finished this game a few days ago, and the only thing Ive been trying to do since then is just get other people to play it. I just want to talk about the story with other people and have them feel what I felt when I stepped into this journey. The soundtrack is incredible and the way it ties into the dialogue makes you feel for the characters harder than you ever thought you could. I'm so thankful I got to be a part of this story. What a treat. Thank you, devs.

When I see the reviews on this game and play it myself I wonder if I was playing the same game, nice story, easy controls music was fantastic and all that, but it was no challange, the puzzles where to easy, and it felt like I could not change the outcome so there for it was just a story and not really a game as all you did was complete one task after another that was not a challenge

I played this a year ago on my phone. TTM is my favourite game because of the story it tells. However, when I want to play it again on my better phone (Xiaomi's Pocophone), it crashes on start and ask me for permission to use camera? i dont recall the game needing a camera function, and I played on the PC too. At wlast fix the crash. I am planning to suggest this to a friend who only play games on mobile.

In the end, I still can't get into the game. Well, it sucks, but I appreciate the effort for the update, Devs ! Now I'm just leaving it a 5* just because I really enjoyed the game in the PC release. It's irrational yes, but that's just how good this game is to me personally. EDIT: recent update didn't work out for me. 😖

Camera permission is for QR file transfer which you can deny if paranoid instead of panicking in reviews. Good initial impression, 2 ways to move touch location or virtual joystick. I wish it had cloud save on google play games but i guess its better than nothing. Good actual reviews on steam for those interested in thorough reviews.

Superb story - surprising, original, even touching. More of an interactive story than most games here.

To The Moon is boring, repetitive, and overall, not enjoyable. I could only make it through a small portion of the game (about an hour and a half) before deciding to delete it. The graphics are nicely done, but the controls are wonky and unsightly. The progression is extremely repetitive and difficult to stick with. The story is drawn out in a strange way and is simply boring. The big reveals of several elements feel weak, as well as the characterization through out. I would not recommend this game to anyone.

if you are struggling what to play, this will be your first choice. The graphic, soundtracks could not be better. And the storyline is easy to be understood well. anyway, go and get it even just for the music

One of the absolute best stories and games I've ever played. Was great on the PC, but the watercolor background change in this one makes it absolutely worth going through, whether it's your first or 100th time.

Very disappointed. I purchased this app but have yet been able to play it! As soon as i open it, it crashes. Ive uninstalled, reinstalled & rebooted my phone, yet nothing. I cant even see the app let alone play it. I hope theres an update to fix this soon. Total waste of my money at this point

One of the best games bought. Simple yet leaves you with a train wreck of emotions. Beautiful story and colour layout. Can't wait for more to come!

It was too slow moving for me to really have a chance to get into the story line. I became bored before I became intrigued. I think the story might have been captivating, but an hour into playing it was still moving at the same pace.

Crashes every time I open it (on a Pixel 2).

This is most boring pile of pixels I've ever encountered in play store. It's not even a game, because there is NO gameplay, and the story just super retarded. And why did you write that it's better with headphones while there are barely any sound at all.

the controls are easy to use and the soundtrack is amazing. highly recomend it if your looking for a good cry.

10/10 One of the most incredible gaming stories I have ever experienced. More of an interactive story than a game but still an amazing experience that should not be missed.

Hard to control the movement the playable character, but the storyline and the music are great, so that I give four-star to the game.

A friend recommended this game and I believed him when he said it was good and I wouldn't stop crying. There was so much crying I went through a whole box of tissues.

A fascinating story that stokes the imagination, with a beautiful soundtrack and compelling characters. It's a film of sorts, don't expect too much interactivity.

I enjoyed the story of To The Moon. Though I haven't been able to access the game through my phone, I still looked up the gameplay and I really enjoyed the game ^_^.

Delivers the same emotion driving experience as you would if you played on PC. A really good remaster and mobile port :)

terrible experience on Nexus 9. constantly crashes and can't skip forward to last position when it reloads. from the two minutes i got to play it seemed very boring, not sure what all the good reviews are about.

Weak plot, weak characters, weak story. I don't get why this game is seen as a masterpiece when this is at the level of a poorly though out fanfiction. The two doctors keep insulting each other every three lines. It is not cute. It is gratting and unprofessional. The client's wish to go to the moon is a symbolic wish to see a loved one again. This twist is cliched, not clever. Kids accidently hurted each other. Why? They were throwing book at each other for fun. Are there never adults around?

cant open after update to Android 10, please fix it

A beautiful story told perfectly with incredible music and divine art style. A treat for the senses, indeed!

Edit : mad respect for the devs, crash is fixed now, repurchased it and its working absolutely fine now. Thank you so much.

the story is amazing! The Soundtrack is always on point!!

Launch issues have been fixed by the devs, thanks! Game is awesome, great story and graphics!

Great game. Try to disconnect network connection if your game crashed on Android Pie.

great game! would love to see this concept expanded into more missions/clients

Amazing game... truly touching story. You rarely get something like this these days.

A game that will definitely warm your heart and make you cry a little. Well maybe not a little. A definite must-play.

crashes upon opening. I don't even get a title screen before it crashes. please fix this, I would like to play, as I cannot get a refund

Amazing Game. Play this game in one sitting if you have a few hours free.

Moving games with a complex story and lasting impression.

After latest update: Game crashes on launch and asks for camera permission? I deny it, but why is it there?

Lovely story... But sad and wistful at the same time. Tears me up Everytime I play.

Absolutely unplayable. Non-stop crashing. Pixel C tablet. I want my money back!

language in vietnamese's. I know u guys are fixing it but... not enoght. voted yes on steam. thanks! best game, best music. i ll be back for next update.

OMG.. What a beautiful game. I'm speechless... this is worth 100 stars!! 😢 shed a few tears.

Great story, helped by great piano soundtrack.

great story, writing, and soundtrack

beautiful story and really emotional. this is a game I will play again in a few years.

love the music and story. please make 'Finding Paradise' in Android apps, too. 😁

Game immediately crashes at launch on Pixel 3 XL and uninstalling does not lead to a refund.

One of the best games I've ever played. Brought me to tears at some points.

Good story, short game though with lame gameplay.

App won't open keeps crashing

One of the best stories of all time

crashes on start. moto z2 play. Android 8.0
