Trying to learn more things about the world and actually hate TV/news and all the noise it brings into my life. NPR is quieter, not as intrusive. Offers a better variety of flavor of what's going on with the world and not quite so theatrical as the TV is.

The programs are great and all, but I can't play/pause it on the lockscreen, or with my headphones, which means I have to unlock my phone each time, a big problem when I'm at work - the place where I really want to use this app. Worse is that I can't functionally pause it, because pausing it doesn't actually let me play from that spot again; it just refreshes and starts from live. I first downloaded this to see if it would use less data than the TuneIn Radio app - nope. Going back to that now.

I love that I get the news I enjoy and depend on in the palm of my hand. I would give it 5 stars except that the app glitches on both my Samsungs. It won't allow me to press play from the lock screen only pause. Also the symbol identifying that the app is in use will not disappear when I close the app. Like the phone still thinks I'm listening when I'm not.

The text news features on the app are great, more in depth than other news sources. Wish that it had more KY news since there are 300,000+ people in the Northern KY broadcast region. WVXU through the app is far superior to the region's other media. I use it mostly for listening. Only gripe is signal interruption because of buffering. Was great to access WVXU in hotel near Macchu Pichu, Peru,, when hotel cable news link dropped. Also, like this app for connectivity to classical music on WGUC.

Works great for the most part. Have issues with it stop streaming every now and then. I just have to hit pause and play again. But 10-15 mins later the issue happens again. If I restart the program then it plays fine for a much longer period of time.

Used to be a great app. Now it only plays audio for a few seconds before it cuts out. Hit play and it plays for a few seconds then cuts out again. Or I'm standing in the shower and it stops playing and I'm not sure whether the app stopped or if Mary Ann Z just forgot her lines again.

Terrible quality, like most individual radio station apps. You'd be lucky to listen for one hour without snags or dropouts. Just listen to it over the air or if you must stream it IHeartRadio and MyTuner are consistently more stable.

Works great usually. When using Bluetooth it will try to launch itself, even after I have exited previously, whenever I try to connect to another Bluetooth device.

A couple weeks ago, this app started single-handedly draining my phone's battery in less than a day, even if I hadn't used it at all. Uninstalled. I'm a big WVXU fan and would readily re-install if y'all can fix whatever is broken.

Constant stopping of live broadcast is getting really annoying. Only runs for 5 to 10 minutes, then stops. Have to hit 'pause then 'play' again to continue listening
