I really liked the set-up of the app: How you can sort your works into folders, and that the word count is in a very visible spot. I personally like to keep track of my word count, which is why I got this app. However, it's extremely laggy. Sometimes, it takes over a minute for a short sentence I just typed to show up. Also, I don't like that it doesn't automatically scroll down as you type. So you end up not being able to see what you're typing and have to stop and scroll down.

An overall good app with one huge deal killer. New sentences are not capitalized. There needs to be at least a preference option to employ this. What is the use of writing 6 paragraphs by voice dictation it's a writer needs to go through his work and capitalize every sentence. Obviously, if typing is the man is of writing, this isn't a problem. But, many of us dictate paragraph after paragraph for a story or some other document. UPDATE: Received a nice reply from author who said will fix the Caps issue. Raising from 1 star to 3 for that, and to a 1 star if the issue is addressed. Otherwise really good app.

This is the worst app I've ever downloaded. Sure there have been ones that do absolutely nothing of use or could have been written by a child but this one takes 'bad' to another level. It's absolutely fine to charge for apps, I use many. It is also cool to have ones that are 75% free and extra functions or eye candy cost. This one (unless I have missed something) is probably good if you had the premium version but the version here is just wrong and useless & has stolen nearly a hour of my life.

After reading the comments, I 'liked several positive comments so downloaded. I started 2 notebooks and wrote and saved each before adding more. When I went back, the first sections of both were missing. Really disappointed with this app. Not only because it lost my writings but also because it doesn't allow for larger text or colour or any changes. Impossible to keep journals when it deletes. Going elsewhere.

Wow this is so so slow! Good otherwise, but a snail moves faster! Why? Come on does it need an upgrade or what? I'm a writer and this is frustrating, I may as well be doing it by hand, I'd get more work done! Jeez developers, you need to do something, or a lot of people are just going to uninstall, including me!... Have a nice day now!

As a writer, this app has been incredibly useful to me. I've spent a long time looking for apps that autosave my writing as I write, and with the ability to sort everything I need to into folders, this app remains one of the only things I use to write now.

Not Sure I guess it might be usefull but I was being sold on the Chapters graphic and it took me a few minutes to workout they are notebooks. So you cant really write a novel and other things without being creative with notebook titles. Seems a litle limited not to be able to sub-divide bits of writing by folder. And since you cant create a folder in a notebook it only has one level. By the time I'd put in two notes I had an add so big I could only see one note.

Can't delete a notebook or change the name, slow at showing what I type and I don't like how the font is. Won't automatically capitalize the beginning of sentences and it is hard to see fonts. Like that it shows your word count and is fairly easy to write on. Please fix these problems and I'll gladly redownload this app.

this app is fantastic. for a disabled person like myself, it is fantastic just to be able to write down on my phone things like shot lists, actors notes , Etc. potentially could be great for novels. I'll have to give5 stars.

This app so pretty good so far, it would be nice if it had a way to sync my notebooks to a cloud or something so if I have to download it on another phone I can easily access my things. I might have to keep looking for another app.
