The app gives you English letters to write in cyrillic cursive which is stupid. It should present Cyrillic letters to write in cursive Cyrillic. I had to edit this review to be more clear since the dev can't wrap their head around why you might want to see the Cyrillic and not english...

As a tool for learning russian cursive writing it's exceptional. Easy to use and learn, there is just some little issue: the ы, ь, ъ are missing. Also I would like to suggest to add some words to also learn the letter connections in cursive

Good for most of the basics but is missing ь, ы and ъ. This seems like an oversight because they show up in the full review but there is no lesson or practise for them. I originally paid for the full unlock but have requested a refund because I don't think it is worth it considering there is still missing content.

This is incredible! I have always wanted to learn russian and in 24 hours I have completed each of the 13 tests in under 50 seconds!! This app makes it VERY EASY to learn how to distinguish and write the letters of the russian alphabet, CYRILLIC, in upper and lowercase CURSIVE while it sounds the letters out for you. This has given me a deeper understanding of language itself even though I could already read and write a good amount of Spanish after 3 years of taking classes in school. 10/10

It's a good app. I was able to learn the Cyrillic alphabet with it and understood it easily. I love that they use handwriting as well. It really reinforces the information in your head. Some of the letters really do look different handwritten just like english so make sure to learn both ways.

My only complain is that we are forced to write a letter in a certain stroke (cursives, in this case). I mean.. not everyone can write cursives beautifully (and I'm not really used to it. The app keeps telling me that I'm wrong even when I tried writing in cursive letters). Maybe the app should upgrade the letter recognition?

First, I think it would be helpful to have a few short and easy whole words, so one can learn how to properly string the letters together. Also we seem to be missing the letter "ы", as well as the soft and hard signs "ь, ъ". So can't even learn the whole alphabet with this app! On top of this, the prompts for which letter you are supposed to write/select keep switching between the Russian alphabet and phonetics. THIS IS VERY PROBLEMATIC. I can't imagine how confusing this must be for beginners.

I does not cover all the Russian characters. The lessons are missing ъ, ь and ы. If you pay for the app they show up in the reviews, but it will not let you even try to write an answer (it erroneously goes to the next screen). The app would be better if there were words or sentences to practice; or if it had more kinds of exercises. I also wish it had a toggle to show the print character during exercises -- the two are so different in russian it would be nice to reinforce the association.
