It always gives a clear and an accurate description of where and when by just looking at the Wind map for tracking hurricanes. Very important to home owners, commuters, people with small children, and the elderly, people with medical conditions, homeless folks living in the streets . Being struck unexpectedly by a hurricane or tropical storm is life threatening, life changing and expensive. This Wind Map is essential in protecting lives.

So far, the app seems pretty cool for educational and entertainment purposes. It's pretty wild to see so many layers that go on without our detection of them! The first ad that comes on when you first opened the app will appear to be part of the app but it is an ad or something to do with weather. That is the only annoying part because it feels deceptive. Once I exit the ad, the app seems wonderful.

It's a clone of the nullschool website. while it works more smoothly than the site does in a mobile browser, it's missing 90% of the features. If all you want is temperature and wind speed this is fine. I want more though. There's ads designed to mimic the interface of the app, too. Very sneaky and not cool.

Good depiction of wind currents, unfortunately there is no way to identify cities, or even national boundaries. Even your own location is not marked. I feel these need to be corrected.

I just uninstalled it after trying it out this morning. My first reason is that it has ads that cover the screen's content that can't be closed even for a moment Second, The same ad is being repeated again and again (I don't want a grammar checker). Although the app was initially able to find my location, it doesn't appear on the map once saved. The actual content of this app looks good and while having some ads is okay, to have the same ad in your face all the time ruins the experience. :(

Too many ads. Didn't even zoom in all the way on the area I was checking and it hit me with an ad and a pop up to get the premium version. Instant uninstall

I have used this app for a while now and have enjoyed seeing the wind patterns. The ads have always annoying but a fact of life if don't pay for the "upgrade." But I digress from the true reason for the 1-star rating I'm not giving. When I launch the app it goes straight to a trump campaign ad that I can't get past. There's no way I'm going to click on the "Take the survey" button - I've learned from experience that these surveys are deliberately designed to get the response to make dt happy. When I try to close the ad, goes to go to a website that can't load. Basically, the app is now dead. If not fixed soon, it will be dumped.

I like the way this app delivers useful information. I use it when planning work trips to areas prone to typhoons. The beautiful UI allows me to check at a glance current wind conditions, or to preview pronostics. When tapping on any place of the map, a tooltip will show its precise coordinates along with the wind speed and direction. And bokmarking of places is a very useful feature. There are still some minor quirks, though: 1. When going to different places while also switching the time back and forth (f.ex. between "now", "+12h" and "+1d") sometimes the map ends up not matching the displayed time. (In those cases, I just close and reopen the app.) 2. When going to bookmarked places, there is no visual clue pointing to the exact bookmarked place. (I hope the developer will address this in future updates.) All in all a good app, worth getting the ad-free version.
