This app does a great job of connecting to Wi-Fi Direct for you and allows files or folders to be sent or received fast to either device. Just make sure you don't have airplane mode turned on and make sure your Wi-Fi is on. I couldn't get Hifi | WiFi Direct File Share app to work properly on one of my devices which uses Pie. I'm glad I discovered WiFi Direct +. Just tap either | Select Files | or | Select Folder | (buttons) and follow the instructions about double tapping a folder to select it.

Tried 4.5 Gigs of pictures in folder. No progress bar. No indication of speed. No idea when it will be finished. Lost contact 3 times. Screen flashes constantly as long as small pictures are transfered. After restart, app spends ages 'flashing' through existing pictures. I gave up after 1.5 hours. I couldn't use Phone Clone for this task but just to show how WiFi Direct really works: 18Giga transfered in ca. 30 mins. Also messes up Sonys 'Album' by giving all pictures today's date. A real mess.

It did the job to send large files via WiFi direct very quickly (devices reached 30 MB/s). Excellent! Rog Phone 3 to Xiomi Mi 9 pro.

Works as advertised. But you have to see both screens to manipulate it effectively. That brings up a constraint, you can't easily send files to a friend near you, and I was hoping the interface will be like a chat screen, like Near Peer. Love the dark screen though.

Before I had this app, one of my devices didn't have Wifi-Direct built in on it, so I has to use bluetooth file sharing, which is at a slow 160Kbps. After installing this app on both the devices, I'm now able to share files at a whopping 250Mbps, almost 2000 times the speed. Thank you for making my life easier!

Fast and easy. MUCH faster than the buggy, laggy SuperBeam which stopped working for me for seemingly no reason -- and never gets updated any more -- which is why I decided to try this one. Good work!

Does its job, very helpful transferring files because send via wi-fi direct doesn't work on one of my phones. Maybe a more modern UI? this UI is from android 4. And option to set the default starting folder for sending files

Wonderful! The only app I found that truly using wifi direct to transfer files. While all other apps use hotspot so I can't access Internet during file transfer.
