Rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to for BT. Like many, I can no longer connect via the app. It states I am not connected to the Internet. Annoying thing is it worked great for nearly 2 years, until I had to update. Come on BT! This is a common problem that has been going on for a long time.. Expect more from a large company! Fortunately the disc themselves work very well. Any resets have to be done manually now, rather than all together via the app.

This is a flawed piece of software, I would venture the disks are let down by the software. But as usual we are stuck with it. Or buy other disks from someone else with the accompanying software of course. If you find it saying no network and you know it's working, re enter the admin password from the back of the disk you are currently closest to, and it spring back into life again.

Terrible app. Stopped working for no reason. Typical rubbish from BT. Avoid this app and the hardware at all costs. I new update after a year or two. BT whole home is by far the worst mesh system and app you can get. Some of the problems: 1. Devices disconnected for no reason. 2. BT disks become orphaned for no reason. 3. App keeps crashing 4. App is probably the worst I have ever encountered. I will shortly be getting rid of this bad rubbish and replacing safe and steady eero pros.

After some initial frustration (I didn't follow the instructions precisely on adding the first disc) the rest were pretty easy and the App is actually quite good. Edit: after a few months of use this is the worst purchase I've ever made. Unreliable, flakey firmware on the discs leads to random crashes and constant reboot loops. Terrible.

The network itself is superb. However the one thing missing for me is the ability to assign devices to a specific disk. Case in point I have a ring stick up cam which which is closest to a disk I have in the kitchen however it often jumps away too a different disk with a much weaker signal. Makes no sense.

This review is for the app. I use the app to control access to the internet for my children. However it regularly tells me that I'm not connected to the network which simply isn't true, meaning that I cannot use the app at all. The discs work fine for all our devices including this one. However the app is half baked and useless. This happens regularly and the only answer is to factory reset all the discs again. Which is great for the first day or two but then stops working again.

Don't waste your money. Started off working well but discs now need rebooting a good few times a week. As for controlling devices, good luck with that! You'll get the 3 dots and nothing else.

Used to be OK but lately the app can't connect even though my device is on the same WiFi network as the discs. The discs are also not as reliable as they used to be, needing to be turned off and on on a regular basis.

Claims it is not connected to the network when the phone is on the network. Used to work but doesn't anymore. Makes the app useless, luckily the discs work

System is a nightmare to set up. Instructions and guides ambiguous and process is opaque. Extra hubs refused to wps setup in the app but we're on the network after I gave up trying to use the app. An extra unit was added. To change name asks for admin password off back. Eventually worked out that it really needed admin password from the first unit.
