Confusing app. It has a huge database of public WiFi hotspots, a nice mapping interface, it auto-connects to WiFi spots as you travel, and does it all with a clean interface and good notifications. The confusing part is I tried a half dozen competitor apps, and this was by far the most competent one, yet there's no ads, and nothing to buy. I can't even find a way to donate to the developer(s). Hard to believe there's so much value in anonymized analytics.

this is the only app I have found that actually shows all the hot spots & free Wi-Fi access points around my area in fact it's the only one I have found that even shows u more by at least 95% more information.this may have some tweets in it from time to time but if u like me who uses Wi-Fi more than anything else this is invaluable.& I saw someone complain about data used on their phone by this app after a month,they said they lost mad data,, I say that's impossible it uses any data. It's Wi-Fi.

Well if I was to rate it by understanding how to use the app they would receive a 5. The reason I gave a #1 star is this app does nothing we can't already do ourselves. I turned on my wifi and up comes a list of places nearby with free wife or secure wifi I am in front of safe way. Still no wifi and consider they promise to do all the connecting themselves which is a big lie to... as you people were unable to connect me & I had to figure it out. So don't bother using this app. IT'S A JOKE!!!

This is fantastic. I had no idea that there were so many Wi-Fi spots in my area. When I know that I am going to one that is shown, I just tag it and it will automatically connect when there again. When finally home, it will reconnect to my home WiFi. This is the best and most useful app that I have come across in a long time.

i cannot imagine why an app whose stated purpose is to find wifi hotspots could consume over 600 mb per month of *non-wifi* DATA - that is, most of my month's 1gb plan. i am doubly disappointed that the developer ignored two requests for help about this via email to their support link. perhaps it manages to find wifi hotspots - look at other reviews for that information - but i probably would have used less data per month if i weren't using this app to "avoid" using data. if i could have given a negative number of stars, i would have

Yes I recommend this it helped me out a lot but I couldn't get my Wi-Fi to work at home help me with the phone that I'm on right now and I still say we need to get together people and tell them we want to be able to download our money to a prepaid card and I have to depend on PayPal or Walmart cards all we have to do is give them our information to our card and make it download it to our prepaid card that's what I think

Just what I was looking for: Current wifi hotspots on a map, showing their live status as they come in range. I love that the icons are color coded so I don't waste time.

Dangerous app. Keeps connecting me to unsecure unidentified wifi connection. Google needs to remove asap. Allows device to be hijacked by insecure ssid and keeps witching back to that. Going to report this to Homeland Security also.

Rarely properly connects to login pages of public WiFi spots that requires at least the tap of a login button. What good is offering this app as a person's full WiFi finding/connecting service if it can't do at least 1/2 of its intended purpose?

GPS isn't necessary: SSID & MAC address is good enough for my needs. Allow making phone calls? NOPE!
