App can't reconnect, have to Uninstall and reinstall couple time for it to work, I emailed Albalta Technologies as thye suggested and I never got a response from them, frustrating.

if I'd have known this I wouldn't have bought a pioneer deck. The app is just garbage. From one day to the next you can't tell if it'll connect or not. And when you contact them about it they know what the problem is. They tell you to uninstall, clear the cookies, and reinstall. Yep, then it works for a time or two and then you have to do the whole thing over. You can't even use everything that the radios' capable of because of this. I wish I'd never bought the Pioneer head unit to start with.

I thought pioneer would have done better, I truly am disappointed in this under achievement they are claiming, I will never buy a pioneer due to this experience. Thumbs 👎

Same experience as everyone else. "Disconnected, connect to web link compatible device" using Samsung S21 on high model Sony head unit. The fact that they made this app necessary in order to use features is beyond laughable. Thinking I should go with an actual tablet install so I can at least play movies for the kids on road trips.

It worked loading on to the radio. But after that it didn't work at all. Audio didn't work, YouTube didn't work, screen mirroring didn't work, and Any other app that's on the we link didn't worm. It says unable to connect while vehicle is moving. It does this even when I'm in park not moving. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times but it does the same thing. Please fix this.

Same as others report. Have to connect multiple times to get it linked. Once permissions granted for the app to work, weblink runs in the background and runs my phone battery down in just a few hours. If you force stop the app, next time you connect to head unit, you have to grant it permissions again! It is very unreliable and dangerous b/c you should be focused on driving, not fussing with weblink.

Works at first but after I hook up just black screen have to keep reinstalling it???besides that works great.sometimes. pioneer DMH-A340DAB Samsung galaxy s20 fe 12/3/21 well it still doesn't connect unless I reinstall everything so I had to take another star cause it sucks to have to do this every time

If I could give this app zero stars, I would! It does not work! All I get is a black screen. There has been another way! Can someone, ANYONE develop an app for YouTube on pioneer nex head units that actually works! This is 2021, not 1999. I can't believe how awful this is!

I rated a 4 at first but is really a let down now because it never stays coneccted anymore i have to always uninstall then install over and over again this seems like it should be a quick fix but they dont seam to care evwn though people comment this all the time 🤷♂️

Not nearly as bad as the reviews suggest. It is a little funky connecting up; I often have to plug in, let it connect, unplug and then plug in again or the screen freezes. Outside of that, it's very serviceable. YouTube plays fine, yelp and video/music player are well thought out and look well designed. The real determining factor is your phone and the radio. I'm on a p30 pro and an avh 3500nex, and use it virtually daily without issue
