    Waking Up is the best meditation for combining learning the theory and training the practice. I spend 15-25 minutes a day listening to Sam Harris teach me the theory behind meditation and guide me through the practice. I also love the daily "moments" that are sent to me throughout the day. They're usually just a 1 minute snippet of Sam talking about a core concept of meditation and how to directly experience it, try it, and apply it in that moment, at any time of the day.

    I've used several other meditation apps for years, and this is by far the best and most insightful. Unlike others, it doesn't feel like this is aiming for a sort of corporate-speak wellness that's about quelling anxiety so you can be more productive. It's aiming at truly transforming one's view of the mind and self, with the documented benefits of regular meditation as a side effect.

    I had usually found it difficult to get into meditation. This apps introductory course was great. It kept me focused and I was able to complete all 50 days. I started this app in November of 2019. I still use it today for daily meditations. Mindfulness meditation has led to me broaden my horizons of breathwork and the benefits that come from it. Sam Harris also goes into the theory of Bhuddist teachings. Its cool because he approaches spirituality from an atheist perspective!

I heard about Waking Up, decided to give it a try, and WOW. The difference the guidance has made cannot be overstated. Waking Up has given me the key to a door I've been banging on for years. I've gained a richer understanding of meditation and a new lease on life. It's the first app I can truly call "life changing." Incredible!

    awesome app! I have been consistently shopped meditation apps for years! there are some great ones out there. this app blows them all of the water. from absolute beginner to experienced to hallucinogenics! I wish I had found this earlier in my meditation practice. I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend this to EVERYONE!!

    This seems to be the only meditation app that really goes deep into guiding practice while also presenting a vast range of eastern and western theory underlying the practices. If you just try the free intro sessions, I think you'll be convinced! Happy travels :)

    This fantastic app is for people that think they are 'bad' at meditating. It would be a really cool feature if the app allowed me to change the frequency of the chime in the meditation timer.

    I've had the Calm, Headspace, Ten percent happier, and Fabulous app and must say this app blows those ones out of the water. Not that those ones aren't good but this one really speaks to my soul. It really makes me look at things differently. Working on being more present.

    Great app, one big problem. I can't reply the daily recording I just listened to and it seems impossible to find it. Why? I want to have access to that and re play it if I want to.
