Works great! My only wish is that it had the option to choose voice gender. With this app and a pocket dictionary, you will have little trouble getting around just about any language barrier!

Since an update or two ago it no longer translates verbally.... not much use anymore..... after contacting the owner of this app and telling him that it was not working properly, he said it worked fine and ignored my plea for a fix... it will not translate verbally from English to Finnish. I tried everything on my end to fix it. No choice but to uninstall it. That explains why the rating is so low..... don't hire this guy to do any work for you obviously he doesn't listen and he is lazy....

Good app. Two suggestions though: First, in a future update you should look into an auto detect feature for the language spoken. That way you don't have to try to guess if you're using it as a translator for someone talking to you. Second, work on increasing the number of languages in the database. You've only got 36 languages, which barely cover half the world's population. A third of your languages don't even make the top 100 spoken, out of over 7000 in the world. Working on the top 100 would cover 85% of the world's population. Not a bad start though.
