Does a phenomenal job blocking ads, but is far from perfect. Sometimes takes unnecessarily long to buffer, and will begin playback with only a second or so of buffer, resulting in one second of playback followed by 3 seconds of loading, on a perpetual loop. The workaround is to manually pause the video and allow it time to load enough buffer.

Ever since the July 27th update, it's been strange. Adding the Google search bar could have its uses but I've yet to find one. I can no longer adjust the size of the small-panel screen or even view the YouTube vids in full-screen. The video searching, settings layout and removal of dark mode is upsetting but understandable due to the new features. Still giving it 3 stars because in reality it's still better than YouTube's ads...but maybe fix just one of these. Please?

EDIT: They fixed all these problems. Updating my review to five stars. It blocks ads, just as promised. However, being unable to disable autoplay is maddening. You also can't like or dislike videos. I'll still use it, because it's better than default youtube, but that's a major oversight.

Why is the share button glowing green? It's very annoying is this YouTube or vanced? If its vanced I'm uninstalling immediately. Better than youtube... still has some problems. Takes too long to load videos. The way it presents your video selection is less organised and more difficult to deal with than the regular YouTube app. Frustrating in its own right but better than endless ads.

The app worked fine earlier today, and now there are options for youtube and google search. Then I tried watching a youtube video in fullscreen but it only shows in pop up mode. I don't understand, suddenly the app is not user friendly...

Was good before. New update undid every good thing about vanced kit. No dark theme, added google and facebook, only plays in annoying little popup window and nowhere else, no ability to add videos to currently playing playlist or to rearrange video order in queue.

Latest update for "browser" mode made app useless. No Fullscreen, no control over resolution, no scrubbing. Please revert to previous version.

Was great until the last update. Videos no longer will play in full screen only in window mode and there's no setting to change it. Will update again when fixed
