Hassle-free typing of Unicode symbols without switching apps and tedious copy-pasting: Just type them directly from your keyboard! Unicode Keyboard is free, comes without ads and does not require unnecessary permissions. This app is not a lookup table, so if you don’t know the code point of the symbol you want to type, this app won’t be of much help for you. It works fine if you know your Unicode symbols by heart, though. Important, especially for users from Myanmar: This app does not come with any fonts. In order to display certain characters, the underlying app you’re typing in needs to support displaying these characters. You still can access e.g. Myanmar letters, but this app cannot control how the letters will appear on screen.

This unicode keyboard is half the solution. It is excellent because it allows an easy way to input unicode codes, and even displays the character you encoded (if you have a comprehensive font installed). It fails because it gives you no way to browse the unicode characters when you cannot remember the exact code (sort of how you would put in emoji). It would be perfect if it could do both, but that's outside it's stated scope.

It certainly does what it says. I don't need it because I don't remember any hex codes of any symbol. I do remember some Alt+___ codes from Windows though.

Useful, but needs improvement; for some reason, there's no shortcut to switch from the standard Samsung Keyboard to the Unicode keyboard, but there is for the other way around. Therefore, apart from the need for versatility, it's decent.
Me
Does exactly what it says :) Once you figure out after entering the codepoint that you need to actually click the button that shows the glyph, not the 'U+#' button, it is simple enough. I just wish it also let you browse from a codepoint if you knew the glyph you wanted was "near" a codepoint you knew.

Works as advertised. It's adfree. What more could one want?
A Google user
It's quick to load and does what it says. However, it is not open source. If this were open source, I'd give it 5 stars.
Tin Maung Htwe
not much experience on unicode font for the fact that it is too eaarly to say for me.
Tanzinul Islam
