Great app, been using it Ultralingua for many years & even though Spanish was my first language, I depend on Ultralingua's Spanish dictionary for my company's translation services on technical & descriptive manuals. It's the extensive conjugation section that's most helpful in proper translation. Thanx! B^)

English/Spanish edition: great app; use it all the time and it rarely fails me. The only suggestion I would make is that I would love to be able to look up phrases as well. Strangely, my husband's newer version does do this but his one doesn't show the various uses of the word you look up, which mine does! Given that, I actually prefer my version but it would be great to have both. : )

I have used these dictionaries since 2012 on Macs (ipad & desktop) & started this year on Android. I teach English as a 2nd language & these offline dictionaries are invaluable. Having said that, I feel I have to gripe that I teach in Spain, but the Spanish often leans more to S.America. One function that is lacking on the Android version is the ability to RESIZE TEXT. I think with more online conferencing & split screens, the ability to increase text size is a must. · Consideration for UPDATE ·

I use it for my study of Spanish as a foreign language. I've now got 2 Spanish dictionaries from Ultralingua, the standalone version of Collins Spanish-English and the in app Spanish-English dict. purchased through this app, they complement each other nicely. I've knocked off one star because this app cannot be added to the family library even though the standalone Collins dict. is fine. The front end of both apps have not been updated since v1 and are not optimised for later versions of Android

I don't like having a lot of apps on my device (indeed in my opinion it came with a lot of needless baggage) but Ultralingua is one of the essentials. Bravo, Ultralingua! I use primarily the English-French dictionary (a paid addition), but it's nice to have the free English dictionary and thesaurus as well.

I ordered Ultra lingua Spanish, but received Esperanto. I got the correct app in 3 days, but didn't get new secret password with it. It expired after 2 weeks and Ultralingua will not answer emails so I can't use it. The translation feature never worked because it said I didn't have a secure connection. A waste of money. I've found better free websites that do a better job.

Simple and efficient interface stays out of your way and cannot be done better. Instant access to your searched word and related terms without the internet makes this a handy reference tool for teachers or students. Most people would just Google a term, but this tool is much faster as results don't require an internet query. The auto complete for searched terms is flawless. This app is a rarity as it is a no cost, ad free tool which is truly useful.
