UfYH: Terrifying motivation for lazy people with messy homes.

If traditional housekeeping isn’t really your style, but your living space needs a little attention, UfYH’s challenges and customizable features will help you get your place back in shape, a few minutes at a time. Rather than encourage marathon cleaning sessions, UfYH gives you the tools to clean up, a little at a time. Unfucking your habitat turns dreaded chores into easy-to-complete tasks, with a hefty dose of “filthy” language to motivate you to clean up.

-Clean and simple easy-to-use interface.

-Select timed challenges in 5, 10, or 20 minute intervals and try to beat the clock to finish the challenge.

-Select challenges by room.

-Create a customized to-do list and reminders to keep you on schedule.

-Schedule recurring tasks.

-Earn achievements for completing challenges or finishing your to-do list.

-Use the 20/10 timer to reward yourself with a 10-minute break for every 20 minutes of work. Shorter challenges count cumulatively toward your total time.

-Random motivators remind you that excuses are boring and use a combination of a little guilt, a little shame, and a little swearing to get you moving.

UfYH is especially useful for those who don’t have a lot of spare time to devote to cleaning: students, people with full-time jobs, people with roommates, anyone who can’t find the motivation to get up and just do something. Even if it’s just a little something! Our lives are complicated and messy, and we’re often overwhelmed and distracted, and sometimes a little lazy. Unfuck things and see a remarkable difference in how you tackle cleaning.

UfYH uses frequent profanity.

requires following permissions on your android device.

android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Allows an application to view the status of all networks.
android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION: Allows an application to change the current configuration, such as the locale or overall font size.
android.permission.DISABLE_KEYGUARD: Allows an application to disable the key lock and any associated password security. A legitimate example of this is the phone disabling the key lock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enabling the key lock when the call is finished.
android.permission.INTERNET: Allows an application to create network sockets.
android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Allows application to modify global audio settings, such as volume and routing.
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE: Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to and so on.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows an application to start itself as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the application to slow down the overall phone by always running.
android.permission.VIBRATE: Allows the application to control the vibrator.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Allows an application to prevent the phone from going to sleep.
android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS: Allows an application to modify the system's settings data. Malicious applications can corrupt your system's configuration.
view network connections
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

change system display settings
Allows the app to change the current configuration, such as the locale or overall font size.

disable your screen lock
Allows the app to disable the keylock and any associated password security. For example, the phone disables the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enables the keylock when the call is finished.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

change your audio settings
Allows the app to modify global audio settings such as volume and which speaker is used for output.

read phone state
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

control vibration
Allows the app to control the vibrator.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

modify system settings
Allows the app to modify the system's settings data. Malicious apps may corrupt your system's configuration.

I love the app in general (and the book) but started getting glitches on my device. When you get a break you can't just start break, have to cancel and go back and forth several times. same when the break is over. I tried to reinstall and nothing changed.

  2. guest-avatar

Overall, I like the app, and it's mature audience approach suits me well. However, like others, I do wish it had an option to set notifications to remind me to get off my ass. Customizable notifications (when, how many times a week, etc) would be great. Send me a random challenge a few times a week would be great! Also, for recurring tasks on my un-f&#! list, having them drop off or grey out until they need to be done again would be sooo helpful. I'd like to see those customized too, in terms of how often they recur; daily, every other day, weekly, etc. Looking forward to improvements!

  3. guest-avatar

Love this! I wish you could choose how often you want a task to reoccur..unless I missed something? And you should add before and after pictures to the achievement logs!

  4. guest-avatar

I would give it five stars if the timer worked properly. The app and the book have been helping me immensely. However the timer is incomplete. The premise is simple - work for 20 minutes, timer goes off, then rest for 10 and repeat if desired. There's no way to stop it though - no cancel or stop button. I close down the app, then I'm out running errands and the timer begins beeping when the app is not open. It's really too bad. I tried asking on her Facebook page and my post was denied.

  5. guest-avatar

Has not been updated in 6 years. I denied it looking at phone data and is working no issue.

  6. guest-avatar

so far the best app out there that actually works better for me and my family! $2 is well worth it! Trust me it will not disappoint! Very few cuss words, doesn't yell at you audibly, only visually! If you can't handle that then don't download, simple as that! Gives great detail on what needs to be done without having to actually make a list!

  7. guest-avatar

overall a great app that helps me with cleaning. would give it 5 stars if it weren't for one thing: the motivational thing calling you lazy is really not cool, because a lot of people using this app don't avoid cleaning their house because they're lazy, but because they're anxious; depressed; have executive dysfunction; are disabled; etc. so maybe that's a thing to think about. otherwise great as said.

  8. guest-avatar

Love this app, especially for the random challenges that keep me tidying things i forget. Reason for 3 stars? When using the 20/10 timer, the alarm starts blaring but its unwieldy to go through all your open apps to find the UFYH app. A notification or forcing it to the front when the alarm goes off would be super helpful, especially for someone who gets panic attacks at loud, shrill alarms like this or fire alarms.

  9. guest-avatar

    Sherri Kleinsteuber

I would love it if I could see my completed list rather than just the day it says I completed it. That way I can go back and see just how much I accomplished as well as how long its been since I've clean something. This is the only complaint I have about the app. Please seriously consider tweaking it.

  10. guest-avatar

The developers demand access to your call information, which is completely unnecessary for the functionality of the app and a blatant data grab. I can't believe I paid them for the privilege of having my personal call information monitored. Beware.

  11. guest-avatar

    Charles Colyott

Good, but could be more useful. I'd love, for instance, a pre-made checklist based on the emergency cleaning method on the website.

  12. guest-avatar

    Christina Mullins

It would be a nice addition to be able to change the timer to a ratio that works best for you. I prefer an evenly split time on rest and work.

  13. guest-avatar

My wife uses the app and asked me to install it so she could share her lists with me. I returned this immediately because the app doesn't include that basic functionality. This isn't worth paying for.

  14. guest-avatar

    Well..it hasn't updated in 4 years. I wouldn't buy something that doesn't regularly update.

  15. guest-avatar

If I would just read the book and use the app!! I'd get so much done.

  16. guest-avatar

    Wont even install. Refund time!

I would love to see an update!

  18. guest-avatar

This could potentially be a GREAT app and is not all bad. But the experience is just meh. The quick challenges are great. They do help to an extent. But the random motivation is only given if you click on it. It would be 1000x better if you randomly got a notification on your phone like "It's 3pm, get off your lazy ass for 5 minutes and scrub the toilet." Is it worth paying for? Eh. I hope it gets better in the future.

  19. guest-avatar

The app is well worth the tiny sum of money as a way to tip the author of the website / book, and the random challenge function is great. As a freestanding app it lacks some important functions, however. There is no way to set a task to recur after a certain period, so you have to choose between writing down repeating tasks like vacuuming every week or having them remain on the list when you click done. Being able to set recurring tasks that renew at a certain date would be a very useful addition.

  20. guest-avatar

Would be cool if the motivations had sound and actually yelled at you. ;) I am disappointed in the lack of lists in the app. Also, once I've cleared my own task it's just gone. I'd like to be able to see what I've accomplished of my own goals. Lastly, it would be great if I could edit my tasks after they've been added. I often throw all the chores in my head into one task but later need to separate them and there doesn't seem to be any editing option.

  21. guest-avatar

The only thing I wish for is a 'couples' version. One account, sync it between devices, with the same task list for my husband and I, so it would show when either of us had done something. Could also have a competition mode to see who did the most. Anything to get him to do some housework without being nagged.

  22. guest-avatar

    Hayley 'Harvey' Fisher

I'd love it if there was a button for a random task from my list. Also, a way to untick irrelevant tasks from the random button that does exist. If i click through too many car or pet tasks i may well end up clicking through stuff i should do rather than getting on with what im told to do! Great concept.

  23. guest-avatar

I love this app! The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I like my daily routines, and being able to add recurring routines would be awesome. There are already great lists on the site, but not in the app. For my routines, right now I am using UfYH and the FlyLady app together. Will adding recurring routines be something that y'all add in the future?

  24. guest-avatar

This app is really good. I like that you can set your own lists of tasks that need doing and set them to be recurring. However, when you finish a recurring task there is no record that it has been done. It is not noted in your achievements. I think that an activity summary would be good to acknowledge when the recurring tasks have been completed, how long it took etc.

  25. guest-avatar

    Elizabeth McFarland

I really love the blunt way this pushes me and implementing a system with breaks is more likely to stick. The only improvement I'd like to see is the ability to have a family option that allows each person to view the chores in their own devices and see if they've been done. It would also be great to be able to assign tasks to family members with due dates and times. Great app though!

  26. guest-avatar

As a lazy person, anything that can help lend a little motivation is great. I've only been using this app for a day, but so far I love it. The only thing I wish for is a page that shows me what I've already accomplished. As a traditional "to-do list" writer..everyone gets a little satisfaction from being able to cross something off the list. Overall great app, though

  27. guest-avatar

    Kimberly McCown

I really do like the set up of this app. I love the concept, and the blog is AWESOME. that being said, I do wish I could sync it to my tablet, or with my roommate so we could be on the same page. but no worries, I can just re type it on theirs. Does anyone know how to change the timer though? I change it, but when it goes off, it's still just beeps. Any ideas?

  28. guest-avatar

I have difficulty shoring up energy and motivation for even simple chores. In my first day of use, I am really liking the concept. This is great for those who get overwhelmed by long to-do lists. I can promise myself to complete at least one challenge, and that motivates me to do more. Even if it's only one, it's something. I found the timer to be a bit wonky, so I just ignore it.

  29. guest-avatar

    Jamie VanMeveren

Disappointed in the 20/10 timer, bought it a year ago and was disappointed that it froze after my first 10 minute break and was stuck at 0:00. Frustrating to have to back out of it and restart it. The more I fiddle with my phone, the more likely I am to give up and start browsing. I reinstalled it this year, hoping it's be fixed, but I was still very disappointed today. Okay app, just wished the 20/10 timer worked better

  30. guest-avatar

As stated in other reviews two major flaws are not being able to shut it off until you navigate into the app (why no pop up or something) and also when you change the alarm tone it changes your ring tone also. I will keep the app vs refund because I do like the ufyh methods. Also disappointing that the lists from the website are not automatically on the app . This should be a free app.

  31. guest-avatar

I've been using this app for years and I love it so much. I suffer from mental illness and trauma that makes day to day cleaning difficult sometimes, to the point where it piles up and seems unmanageable, but this app lets me get back in control. There are things I wouldnt even have thought of doing/cleaning that it reminds me to do. Its been well worth the small price. If you are just really bad at keeping up with cleaning to where it makes your mental health worse I highly recommend this app.

  32. guest-avatar

So far, I really like it. But a pause button for the timer would be great. What if I have to pee? Or something more involved than pee? Sometimes that need arises before work time is over, and sometimes we just can't put it off for another 10 or 12 minutes. And really, I don't want to spend my break on the toilet. One other thing: I don't pay for apps. If I can't find something like it, I can do without it. However, a few of my friends said UfYH helped them immensely. So I took the risk. Glad I did!!

  33. guest-avatar

The concept is good and the online support through tumblr & Twitter is nice and encouraging. But the app is buggy. The timer and the alarm are out of sync. When creating a task, it FORCES you to add a description. Clean bathroom means clean bathroom! There's nothing to describe! The timer will act weird. Not really worth $1 at this point but I can see it being so in the future. I also don't like that it messes with your ringtone when you are trying to select a notification sound. This app needs UnF&%^*.

  34. guest-avatar

What a life-saver for us regular humans who aren't very good/suck/are horrible at keeping our homes clean. Much like the Tumblr site, this app shows you any task can be broken down into manageable chunks. I like the by-room challenges, and though I hate it, I use the timer and the room challenges to get dishes done and bed made, because "excuses are boring." Incredibly useful, and a bargain at $1.99.

  35. guest-avatar

    Brittany Hulbert

I have followed UFYH's blog for a long time and it has helped me immensely. The app gave me the extra boast to keep things organized by doing a little at a time on a regular basis. I like that it gives you a list of challenge chores for each room/area. I have never had any crashing/bug problems. I do wish I could drag and drop the challenge chore items to my own to-do list so I don't have to re-type the title/instruction for my to-do list. Other than that, I love it.

  36. guest-avatar

I love this app! It's great for keeping me on track when I'm feeling weak but need to keep things tidy. I did notice, however, that after the first cycle of the 20/10 timer, the time just displays as 0:00. The timer still works fine, but it's just an odd thing I noticed. Great app otherwise!

  37. guest-avatar

Only suggestion: when the 20/10 timer is done, can it be fixed to begin a new round? When my break is done the app says "back to work" but the clock doesn't reset for another round. But overall this app is awesome!

  38. guest-avatar

    Lacey W. Coleman

I loved this when it worked. Now it crashes. If I close it, the timer will STILL go off, and there's no way to turn off the timer without opening it and starting the timer again. Update and fix please! And I will change my rating. Until then DON'T BUY. Waste of money.

  39. guest-avatar

    Ashley Dougherty

I love the app already, but I somehow can't manage to delete tasks from my list. I go to highlight them to delete and they open to edit. I press the garbage can and it goes back to the list view. You aren't giving me false hope, are you?

  40. guest-avatar

I love the motivation and challenges, but it would be VERY helpful to have editable lists already set up. It takes a lot of time and quickly becomes boring. I think it's safe to say that most of us wanting to use the app have ADD, and we need help getting organized in the first place.

  41. guest-avatar

All the sub five stars didn't understand the purpose of this app. If you're already motivated to clean, this isn't the app for you. This is an app for depressed people who are so overwhelmed by everything that they don't know where to begin. This will give you a place to start. It's incredible, but it isn't for you if you're already excited to clean your house. Go use a different app.

  42. guest-avatar

Love that you can make the lists to suit your situation. It really does help to have the alarm go off. Can't wait to get my mess clean so I can start working on the challenges! Makes cleaning a game instead of a chore.

  43. guest-avatar

There is a God. I'm so grateful that this app is back. It's not the flashiest of apps, but it's perfect for anyone who suffers from analysis paralysis and overwhelm when faced with a messy house. I was lost without it while it was gone from the Play Store.

  44. guest-avatar

    Jacqueline Herbacko

My only request is to fix the notification sound so it is not linked with the phone call notification. When my 20 mins are up, it defaults to my ringtone, which always confuses me. But, when I change it in app, my actual ringtone gets changed, too.

  45. guest-avatar

I have this app for my iPad, and I love it, but this version for my android is not working as well. If I set the notification noise, it changes my phone's ringtone. And then no matter what, it plays the same loud beeping, which is difficult to turn off. If you don't leave this app open, it's hard to get to the timer to turn the sound off right away. I do most of my house cleaning while my baby sleeps, so that doesn't work for me at all.

  46. guest-avatar

That's it, really. Best purchase ever. Simple, easy to use, excellent at keeping you on task. I'm a chronically messy person often struggling with depression, but this helps me work a little bit at a time through it.

  47. guest-avatar

I love this app. The motivation and timer by themselves make this app worth it. The only thing I actively want updated about this app is the inability to change the timer to vibrate only. It's my only reliable timer of its type, but I can't use it at school due to the sound. Still, I would and do happily recommend this app.

  48. guest-avatar

    Meghan Williams

This is a great app for getting things done. My only issue is that on the 20/10 timer, after the first 20/10, when you hit the "back to work" button, the 20 minute timer shows up as 0:00, and stays that way. You have to cancel the challenge, and restart the timer to do another 20/10. Does anyone else have this problem?

  49. guest-avatar

    Douglas Redding

I couldn't wait to buy this app when it was first released. Now I've a new device and will NOT be reinstalling, as it demands access to my call data. As noted by Sara, it is an outrageous requirement. Dumped from 5 stars to 1, until permissions insanity is addressed.

  50. guest-avatar

Developers,Pls take a look at fairshare app. I decided to buy this app because I like the blog, and although I like the home screen set up, the idea of random challenges and the motivational words, I hate the way my tasks are set up! I'm fairly certain the order selection at the bottom doesn't work the way it was intended. The notifications don't make noise even though I set it to make noise, and I can't figure out if there's a way to get it to pop up on my screen instead of hiding in my notifications bar.

  51. guest-avatar

I love this app and website and just having the app on my phone has made me force myself to be more productive in my day to day life. My only minor complaint would be that the beep for the timer is a little annoying and it doesn't want to use my ringtone or any other files on my phone, but that's it. I can deal with that. Yay UFYH!

  52. guest-avatar

OK, I've only just downloaded this app, but I did so based on your website, which contains lots of lists etc. I realise that everyone is different, but I was rather disappointed to see that you have to add your own lists for recurring tasks. I was hoping that there would be default lists that could be edited and ticked off etc. I want to follow your emergency list, but i'll have to do that just by browsing your website from my phone. Unless i setup my own lists, i'm guessing i don't get reminders either - which is part of my problem, I need reminding to do anything :(

  53. guest-avatar

Cool app, not sure it was worth buying but it was only $.99. But it definitely helps with keeping the house clean and cleaning the things you always forget to clean. I've used it for years now and always download it onto all of my other devices.

  54. guest-avatar

I kept it bc it has some really great features, like random task selection/suggestions. The 1 thing holding it back is without the ability to see completed tasks as done in some way, I feel like I have not achieved anything & I can't tell what I have completed from what I haven't or what I need to do that day--the longer the list, the more problematic that is. A strike through, red check mark, or best IMO just have them colour blocked a nice colour & go below uncompleted tasks. This makes the list unusable.

  55. guest-avatar

Love this! It really eases some anxiety, especially if you usually have trouble feeling accomplished. I just wish it had a goal page, for things you'd like to strive for but can't be completed as quickly as a normal task.

  56. guest-avatar

I like this app!! It goes along great with the website which has great tips for the "motivationally challenged" like myself. Suggestion: a "tips" section for quick access to some of the great tips offered on the website like vinegar cleaning solution, drain volcano, laundry tips etc.

  57. guest-avatar

    Ashley Keesis-Wood

I'm a pretty neat and clean person, but I have a tendency to clean and clean until I am exhausted. The timer feature helps remind me to slow down and take breaks. Highly recommend! There's a great Tumblr and a blog too!

  58. guest-avatar

I would use this app so much more if there wasn't the problem with the notification sound. It will only let me use the same sound as my ringtone. If I try to change the notification sound, it changes the ringtone on my phone. This has been a problem since I first downloaded it and the fact that it still hasn't been fixed is pretty disappointing.

  59. guest-avatar

    Kathleen Marinan

Minor thing makes the review 4/5 at this time -- I'm not sure if it's just my Android 2.2 phone, but when I'm doing a sequence of 20/10s, the first "20" will show the countdown (20:00, 19:59, 19:58, etc.), but the subsequent 20s only display 0:00, though the progress bar and the timer do still work.

  60. guest-avatar

    Rachel Longstaff

Love it but I wish there was a way to set tasks weekly, daily like have an alarm to remind me Wednesday is clean sheet day or a way to set it to times per week like set the bathroom to clean 3x a week. Other than that love it and love the motivation helps a lot i would love to see an update allowing me to do this I would pay good money for it as a lazy and forgetful person this would save my life

  61. guest-avatar

    Shawnda McCollum

I do like the app, but I have one request. If I'm working to unf*ck a specific room, I'd like the room challenge to remember which room I'm doing. It's annoying to have it reset to the laundry room each time.

  62. guest-avatar

I'm really enjoying using this! I would like to have "conservatory" added to the rooms, that would be good. Also, is there a way of editing the challenges that you have inputted yourself if I feel I need to add more content. Brilliant app. I've also bought the book and just discovered your website too. Thanks for this x

  63. guest-avatar

I like the way it tackles getting things done but changing the alert tone in the app changes your ringer for all notifications on your phone which is infuriating. Change that and this is easy 5 stars

  64. guest-avatar

I saw the comments about how you had to put in your own tasks and could deal with that but what I don't understand is why, if you're setting up something that's recurring, it doesn't ask how often you want it to recur? And why, if you set reminder dates on tasks, you can't sort by them chronologically? I might as well use my Google task list!

  65. guest-avatar

    Heather Cardona

While there are some set activities that they suggest, the app lacks the structure of the website. For the most part, this works as a timer, though there are a few suggested activities, sorted by room. I'd like to see it expand to contain some of the lists for tackling a room (or even just the basic UfY mornings checklist) and maybe incorporate weekly challenges from the blog to keep things fresh. As it stands, it really isn't worth spending money on.

I've had this app for a few days. It comes highly recommended and it is the only app I have ever paid for. My only disappointment is that it won't sync across my devices (tablet and phone).

I work well with the 20/10 thing but now,on three different phones,it doesn't work. It'll go one cycle, but won't do the next one,you have to go back to the the beginning each time. Annoying.

  68. guest-avatar

Actually helps me do the stuff I put off until it's overwhelming. Thanks so much!

Works well but the language is horriblem id seen reports of it being updated and langauge changed on apple products so had hopes on android as well. Love the app but having to delete as i have children who get on my phone.

Sometimes I just don't know where to start! This app solves that issue

Site is awesome. Would like capability to import lists from site as to do lists, and to continually work on to do list using 20 min timer. Currently it starts a separate timer when you go to the next task. Challenges are neat, and the motivation is hilarious!

  72. guest-avatar

The idea is quite good and I enjoyed the 20/10 timer until I couldn't figure out how to turn it off, even after closing the app. I ultimately restarted my phone and then uninstalled the app.

  73. guest-avatar

Really disappointed that there were no lists! The app would be worth more time if it had thd lists.

I got a new phone (Galaxy Note 4) and updated all my Android apps. I never had any issues using UFYH on my Nexus 4 or iPad, but on this phone it's nothing but trouble. When the alarm goes off it takes 6 or seven screens to turn it off; I even unlocked my screen so it would be easier to get to, but that didn't help much. There aren't any settings in the app, as far as I can tell, so I can't adjust things the way I'd like to.

When it is running, there is no indicator in the notification bar. If you navigate away from the 20/10 timer, you have to reopen the app to even find it even when the time goes off. Really annoying. (galaxy s4). I also agree that there should be pre-made lists such as on the website. Not paid app level.

I will restore the rating to five stars when some of the bugs are fixed. Challenges crash every single time and the alarm doesn't go off until the screen is active.

The ability to set tasks as recurring, with reminders, is great, but I'd like to be able to specify how often they recur (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).

Short stints, plenty of breaks. Add a rewards system on the fridge and you have your own game! Needs a points system :D

Everything seems to work correctly. Great job, thank you for all your hard work! Update, I still love the app but there seems to be an issue with my timer. I can't do multiple 20/10's without exiting app and going back in. It does give me the option but the timer doesn't reset itself.

This app really needs a way to sync with another user. If only one person in the household is doing this work, that imbalance is part of the problem.

  81. guest-avatar

UFYH is like actual MAGIC and now I have it portably, even with my WIFI off. I've encouraged others to buy it (it is my ONLY paid for app) because it is so good

  82. guest-avatar

...is that I can't argue with taking 20 mins out of my busy day of looking at funny cat pictures on the internet to try to improve one area of my house. And then - it very rarely takes the whole 20 mins, and I always feel so good about getting something done, that I'm motivated to do something else. There are additional features I'd love to see, like being able to review everything I accomplished in a day, and the ability to edit my tasks, but overall a great app! The motivation button is pure gold! :)

I love how this app gamifies cleaning the house so I can feel like an action adventurer conquering a quest instead of like an overwhelmed working mom :-)

I love this app. 5-10-20 minute challenges. Make your own to do list. Bluntly motivate me to clean my house. Whats not to love? I needed this

  85. guest-avatar

I love this app. So awesome and actually motivates me to get stuff done. The only app I have ever paid for and it was well worth. Updated my review to 5 stars after the last bug fix

  86. guest-avatar

I liked it however: I agree with everyone else and would love the lists that are on the website. And reminders and stuff. Secondly it would be great if you could create an account and store your lists, I did a factory reset, then got a new phone and lost all my progress!

  87. guest-avatar

Great concept. I'd love to be able to link it to Google Calendar or Google Fit. I'd like to be able to set regular tasks, check off something I already did, or enter how much time I have to clean and have the app make suggestions. I haven't found the right way to make this app work for me, but I still think it is a good product for people with ADD.

  88. guest-avatar

I wish this app let you share the list with other people in your family (ie with a Password ) so they can all see the list of tasks that need to be done! Also a few premade lists could be helpful. Please update soon!

Like others I wanted lists - but started making my own - then realized later the recurring stuff - can't be set as daily or weekly.

  90. guest-avatar

There should be a prompt to take before and after photos and share them with the other users. Also, the ability to make and share your custom cleaning routines and lists of chores would be nice.

  91. guest-avatar

I need recurring reminders for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and bills. please add on to the app. it's worth money to me. disabilities affect executive function.

  92. guest-avatar

Great in concept, but no ability to share the to do list with a roomate or SO, and the timer is quite inconstant with 20/10 and shutting off in the middle of the break. Challenges are nice.

  93. guest-avatar

Fantastic app, however the 20/10 timer stops working after the first break.

  94. guest-avatar

Can you make it so points earned get us something cool and how about adding a "challenge" your friend option or "race" your friend type thing! Would be fun!

  95. guest-avatar

Great app. Love the 20/10 timer and the random challenges help if you are a bit bored with the daily routine.

  96. guest-avatar

So far I've only been using this app for the 20/10 timer, and while it does work reasonably well I suspect that I could write something that works better for that since there are a couple of issues. 1) at the end of the first break, the timer seems to stay on 0 when I try to start the next block of 20 minutes; I have to go out of the timer and back in to get it to reset the timer. 2) it uses the phone's ringtone as the alarm noise. It does let you change this from within the app but that also overrides the ringtone and does not make this clear. 3) with the phone on vibrate and headphones in, the alarm/ringtone sounds at full volume through both the headphones and the speaker. This is particularly an issue when using it in a public space (e.g. studying in a library). 4) the alarm can only be silenced by going into the app itself, nothing shows on the lock screen or in the notifications area to control it.

  97. guest-avatar

I can't figure out how to set intervals on recurring tasks. Emailed support 6 days ago and no response. They have pdfs you can print for certain intervals in the site, but I don't see how to create this in the app.

  98. guest-avatar

Simple to use and to the point. If you like endless customization, this is not the app for you, but if you just want to get straight to cleaning, this will do it!

But, I wish I could decide how long my work/breaks will be. Checklists would be nice, also.

Love the website and love this app. Makes it way easier to get organized and get motivated to get off my bum. Lists WOULD be nice, like everyone's commented, but I'm happy with it as is too.
