At first I was impressed. The app not only connected first time but immediately did a firmware update. I was able to get good timbre from the music amazing sound. Even able over 2 days to remotely switch the UEBoon 2 on and off with the app. Then problems. No connection to Bluetooth finally connected but no remote on/ off. Sound also terrible on 2.4.7.4firmware. So thought I'd factory reset and reinstall the firmware update. Nope. Still says it has 2.4.7 no remote on/ off and terrible sound.

The speakers sound fantastic. "To use this feature, please make sure your app is running and has access to internet." However, when listening to songs, the most annoying message will interupt "To use this feature, please make sure your app is running and has access to the internet" and will repeat itself "To use this feature, please make sure your app is running and has access to internet" MULTIPLE TIMES DURING A SONG. With or without the app installed. Egregiously annoying.

I downloaded this app with hopes to connect one of my UE booms to another. This app can't even do that. It forced me to download an update onto my phone for my Boom, which then was unable to open. Pretty sure the whole point of this app is spyware. I am fully regretting purchasing a UE boom, since it seems that they have advertised falsely about that. Why would you need to update a speaker anyway? Anyway downloading this app is a complete waste of time and memory on your phone.

UE speakers are hands down the best! And they're even better with the app. The equalizer is great! You'll never have to worry about finding a good EQ app ever again. And the auto playlist option is simply amazing. What could be more convenient than one tap to play playlists from your favorite music app? I'm definitely a UE user for life.

I agree the app can be a bit buggy, but if you are unable to connect multiple speakers or if a speaker is showing "unavailable", that indicates your speaker is not connected to bluetooth. That will require you to go into your settings to make sure all connected. I routinely will do this, before opening the app. I am running 8 UE speakers.

It's nice, simple useful app. All features are helpful to have and use. Only gripe is the EQ is way too simple and limited. Would be nice to at least have a 10 or 20 band EQ with more preset sound profiles instead of just 3. Other sound enhancements would be welcome like a BBE or other effects found in Jetaudio. All else is great and love the app. and the Hyperboom very much. 😊

App doesn't work, or have the features, as described in the help documentation. It demonstrates a firmware update feature that doesn't exist. My Boom 3 firmware version is very old and there seems to be no avenue to update it. I'm tired of resetting, unpairing and reinstalling! The UE Windows update utility is equally useless. Grrr........

I was reading all the 1 and 2 star ratings for this app wondering how bad it could be. Well, it's pretty bad. The app works fine for a single speaker but trying to get two or more to play nice together is like pulling teeth. Half of the time the second speaker simply shows as unavailable and when it is available it's missing from party mode. Out of something like 20 attempts I got both speakers to work once and it took a full minute to negotiate the connection.

Works on our Android phones, but I can't get the app to work on a Chromebook. I can pair the speakers through bluetooth, but can't control them through the app. The app keeps telling me to connect speakers even after I have them paired.

Just bought a Bbom 3 now that my original EU Boom died. New to the app, but am NOT impressed for ONE reason... Where the HECK is the support for anything other than APPLE junk?! I'm not a "fan" of YouTube music (formerly Google Play music) but that's basically what Android users have, and this app SHOULD support it! I had Spotify, but Uninstalled it once I found out it was controlled by China.
