The app is great, no doubt. A lot of hard work was put into this kind of development. If I'm allowed , I would propose that the smart alarm could also be set only as a vibrating alarm on my Wear Os device. I usually wake up way earlier than my wife and use my watch for that. Now the watch only gets a notification and a short vibration. Anyway, thanks guys! Later edit: you are right! Alarms function the way you describe it on the watch. My bad, sorry!

  2. Bryan Houser-avatar

I love this app and use it every day to track my sleep, wake up gently with a smart alarm, and keep a dream diary. However, there's one thing that I cannot stand! When recording dreams in the dream diary, tapping outside of the text window completely deletes everything! This is a HUGE pain because: one my dreams can be pretty detailed and I write down as much as possible, and two it's difficult to remember dreams for long after waking up. Please change this! I know it's possible!

  3. Blake Wyatt-avatar

This app used to have no ads. Now it not only has banner ads, but popup ads every time I set an alarm! I'm fine with a banner ad when scrolling on the alarm page, but the pop up ad for every alarm created is too much. I set multiple alarms and I'd rather just jump to a new alarm app that doesn't have popup ads than stay with this one. It's a shame. I've used this app for years. Never thought I'd uninstall it.

  4. Mohammad Agha-avatar

An honest review!! This application have became one of the most essential apps in my life since with it i can detect my sleep pattern and hygiene. This app is one of the oldest out there (which is a big thing YES)and seeing the improvements that are constantly done is a kind of joy if i can say, since you are sure that there is someone out there taking responsibility to give you the best of what he got to improve your sleep which we lack allot these days. Therefore try the app and support them

  5. Hannah Rose-avatar

Well. First night it drained the battery in 6. Next time I tried it plugged in, it nearly fried itself, woke up to repeated vibrations and phone burning hot. Got it apart, burning myself on the battery. There's a reason they tell you to charge things on a hard surface, I was very lucky that the phone didn't fry itself. Clearly this app draws hugely on the CPU and massively overheated the phone... Developer: not what I meant. App made phone run very hot and by being on bed it couldn't cool off.

  6. Brian Deleeuw-avatar

Not tracking accurately. Paid for premium, thinking it would offer a better experience, but: The app consistently reports greater than 50% deep sleep, and does not catch any of the times I wake up in the middle of the night (and get up and walk around!) I'm tracking using my Garmin Vivoactive 3, and SAA products wildly different results than Garmin Connect (which does show reasonable deep sleep figures, and catches when I wake up). I also cross checked by wearing a Fitbit on my other wrist.

  7. Google User-avatar

Hello! While I'm monitoring sleep with accelerometer I usually get 25-40% of deep sleep, with sonar (40cm distance from the body) I get around 85-95%. So the difference is more than 50%. This statistic is available both for oneplus and samsung s8 plus decives. What do you think? Thanks! (Don't know why my feedback message and developer reply have disappeared)

  8. Julian Clark-avatar

This app used to be excellent, but it's now bloated. Integration with Garmin smartwatch is TERRIBLE! Can't disable bedtime notifications which come through as repeating vibrating nags on the watch that return within seconds of dismissal. This has rendered it almost completely unusable. I'm disappointed, to say the least, because I used to really rate this app, but after several bugreports which continue to go unanswered I've realised that the developers just don't care anymore.

  9. Neil-avatar

Some bugs. There I was. At 5:15 AM in the morning. The alarm sounded off. It was me versus this certain math problem I had to solve in order to shut off the alarm. I don't recall if I clicked on back or somewhere else but the math problem magically disappeared and the alarm still kept ringing. Out of panic, I uninstalled the app. I reinstalled because I still love this app (or maybe because I already bought it? lol)

This app is great, i used to have it a point time ago and recently re installed it and there's been a lot of changes made to it. Overall once you get passed going through the settings and figuring it out this app really does give a great insight to how you sleep and where issues may lay. If there is one thing i have to say isn't helpful, in the legend on the graph, the REM Sleep and Light Sleep colors are the exact same shade so i cant define which is which or change that in the settings.

  11. Lauren Pullen-avatar

A mixed bag; some features work very well but many don't. Sonar is detected as functional but does not generate data. Advice should be hidden behind a medical disclaimer. Documentation does not state if REM estimate goes towards light or deep sleep estimate. Smart wakeup default is too early for those who need the alarm just to wake up. No option to force first disarm as snooze. Bogus audio detection. Smart wakeup very nice once configured and primed.

Sleep tracking is not that accurate. When I record sleep sometimes I wake up at night and the app still has deep sleep. So would trust this for measuring sleep quality. It will almost invariably wake you up 30mim before the alarm. The notifications to record sleep that you haven't tracked are handy. After the trial period the app becomes merely a sleep duration tracker for the last 14 days, a bit limited.

  13. Gladys Ignacio-avatar

I loved this app for a while. But recently, it stopped working. I can't tell what's happening. The alarms aren't going off and it seems like the sleep tracking is shutting down in the middle of the night. I was very late to work one day because the alarm didn't go off. I have to set a back up alarm because I'm never sure if the app will crash in the middle of the night.

Alarm no longer works. I've taken all the steps listed on their website to stop background processes from shutting down but I still dont get any alarms going off. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it is not them and it is Android doing it which is why I am giving it 3* and not 1*. Until it is fixed this app is worthless. I've been using it for over 7 years too which is unfortunate.

I have been using this app for a few days and I really like it. The alarm subtly wakes me up. I decided to pay 9.99 to continue using this app, but I wondered if this is a one time fee, or annual fee? I didn't bother linking it to my android watch but I can if I want to. I sleep with cell on my mattress while charging and I've had no trouble. I have a fitbark app for my dog so I let my cell charge at night.

  16. Tony Segoviano-avatar

2/9 update: something has gone wrong, and now when in sleep mode and the alarm goes off, the alarm screen doesn't show. This means you can't turn the Alarm off. This is a serious problem that results in not using the app. Please fix! Samsung recently updated the software of their phones. Perhaps this is the cause Great features. Good guidance on sleep cadence, chalk full of features.

  17. Spenser Bryant-avatar

This app is helping me take better care of my sleep and getting a higher quality of sleep. Its also led me to start paying closer attention to dreams and such. It can be difficult to understand how to use the info in the app so be prepared to do some digging to figure out what everything means and how to best optimize your experience.

  18. buter fligurl-avatar

I want to like this application, but it is a battery killer. It continues to run in the background after turning it off for the day. My phone goes from full charge in the morning (I keep my phone on the charger when running the app at night) to 16% by 2pm. The sleep application had used 36%, which is mire than the OS or Chrome. The work-around is to put it manually to sleep every morning via battery settings.

  19. Megan Fraser-avatar

I wrote a bad review the other day because I was unhappy my app stopped working and my alarm was no longer going off. However the new android software update had changed settings that prevented the app from working! So thankful for the comment on my review to fix this as this is the best alarm app ever and I've been using it for like 5 years haha Everyone should use this app!!!!!!

  20. Lina K.-avatar

Upd. Issue resolved, quick response from the developers. Thank you! // There is a review about this problem from 9/2/20. I updated Android on 25/2 and - bingo! it isn't fixed yet. When an alarm goes off - there is no possibility to SWITCH IT OFF. Overall I use this app for quite a long time and I'll change the mark for the review after the fix. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP.

  21. Patrick Smith-avatar

The app works great! I have been using it for quite awhile now. It helped me identify that I was in fact having some serious sleeping issues which resulted in me getting a CPAP. Recently I purchased an adjustable bed and set it to a position that should reduce snoring, using this app I found the best position to mostly eliminate snoring and it worked great. One thing, the app now effects my media setting (auto turns down volume when listening to music). Otherwise great app, thank you!

  22. Aimee Kityn-avatar

I love this alarm. It always wakes me up almost instantly! Do you know how I know this? I set the alarm to gradually wake me up starting extremely quiet and to get louder over time. It ALWAYS wakes me up so quietly on my side of the bed that my sleeping boyfriend doesn't even stir next to me. I also set a math problem as my alarm turn off so my brain starts to work fast! The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because the constant error that won't let me purchase it. 🤷 2 more trial days...

  23. Jess McKale-avatar

Skeptical of how accurate this app really is. On certain nights when I was obviously awake & moving around (even took my phone with me to the bathroom), it said I was sleeping. It also said I'd slept most of the night when I knew I had only gotten 3-4 hours of sleep, so it makes me doubtful. I wasn't expecting anything perfect, but it can't tell when I'm sleeping apparently. Maybe it works better for other people.

  24. Terry-avatar

Great App for Everyone! Sleep as Android provides simple alarms AND : the ability to choose your Natural Wake-up Time to work with your own Circadian Rhythm as Close as Possible to your Alarm Settings. Edit : I Highly Undervalued this app. It's NOT just a "regular alarm" for your sleep. Combined with its Clouds Services this is By Far the Most Informative app for sleep. It Helps you Understand your weaknesses and Guides you to overturn them. DEFINITELY A "BUY" APP❕❕❕

  25. Patrick Camarador-avatar

    Patrick Camarador

The features seem amazing but the UI is just imperfect enough to annoy me to uninstall. It's usable, for sure! But with seemingly Google translated English confusing me even more (and yes, I did read the documentation which was thorough but also poorly translated) I'm gonna have to give this a soft pass. Please hire a translator. I ended up reinstalling since again, the features are great. But I'm still quite frustrated at how clunky this is to use.

  26. Reatha Kenny-avatar

This app seems really good. It has a lot of features and tracks sleep well. The only issue is the smart alarm never seems to work and my alarm goes off at the time I set it. Edit: figured out the smart alarm I had a box ticked I needed to untick now it works perfectly and have bought the app.. Super happy with it thank you.

  27. miguel valentin-avatar

It's a great app but it doesn't do all that you would think it does. My favorite part of the app is the smart alarm but it doesn't integrate with other smart lights other that Phillips. I believe they posted a work-around for it but that's not as helpful as actual integration. The Spotify integration is a great idea but it's still in beta so it doesn't play the playlist I selected but instead plays the last song I listened too. There was a lot that went into this app and I appreciate that.

  28. RecenityZ-avatar

While I would absolutely love to give this 5 stars, it has one glaring issue for my needs. I have a background Spotify playlist set as a lullaby until an hour after I fall asleep (I fall asleep very slowly, so an hour is a precautionary measure; I've had it turn off after 25 minutes of me still being awake before). While there is nothing inherently wrong with this and I have no issues up to this point, my alarm is where the problems occur. I have a very loud Spotify playlist of my favourite songs set as my alarm, which would be effective... if Sleep As Android didn't often forget to change playlists from the one set as a lullaby at the time of the alarm. I cannot stress this enough, *I can't wake up to my lullaby playlist.* What is the deal here? Edit: I appreciate the reply, and that's fine. I'm glad you cleared that up so I can make a workaround for it (stopping my phone from locking or something). I really do like this app, and your reply brings my rating closer to what it deserves.

  29. Lee Bennett-avatar

Great tracking, but the sonar mode messes with the wireless charging my phone. When I wake up, my phone isn't charging for some reason. Happens every night so far since I started using this app. Otherwise, this app has some really cool features! Im bummed out I need to find something else. Maybe if I get a cheap sleep tracker instead of a watch I'd be down to use this again.

  30. Kristen Lane-avatar

I'm the type who needed 5-10 different alarms to wake up every day. This app wakes me up instantly! All I need is one alarm now! I use the flashlight wakeup feature, which silently wakes you up by turning on your flashlight. It chooses the best time during your sleep cycle to have you wake up instantly and feel awake. I swear it's magic! I will never use another alarm. I love it so much and find it extremely useful so I purchased the app!

  31. A Google user-avatar

Works perfectly for my needs. Only thing missing is the synthetic voice telling me how much (or rather, little) sleep time is left until wake-up, instead of the actual wake-up time, when reminding to go to sleep. Hearing that number decrease may make me actually go to bed...

  32. Sam Close-avatar

It's a great app for tracking your sleep and understanding your sleep patterns better. I'd like to see support added for the Samsung Galaxy Fit E. Recently, this has been tanking my battery. I'm talking 2000mAh overnight, which is concerning. Sadly with the battery drain now being as large as it is, despite having used this app for nearly two years, I am giving it up.

  33. Braiden Stiller-avatar

    Braiden Stiller

Awesome app, really helpful for monitoring sleep and is really packed with so many features. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is there is a bit of a learning curve with some of the settings (they could be explained better), but overall everything else is great.

  34. rk ml-avatar

UPDATE 2020-02-15: Now the app randomly crashes and hangs and the alarm does not go off. I ended getting late to work because of it. Please fix. On latest version. Reports were sent of the crash. advertising blocks all future alarms and if you do not clear the ads, no other alarm works. please fix issue... once this issue is fixed a 5 star rating will be there... This is with the non paying version.

  35. Jordan Meyer-avatar

Pretty good, still wish that there was a better more thorough explanation of the data collected because after using it for over a year I have some interesting charts, but little context for them. Also, quit trying to get me to install another pay by the year app for cloud storage. I'm not doing it as I've already paid for the app once

OH MY GOSH Okay, so I've been having problems with my phone volume turning down while I'm listening to asmr to fall asleep. I finally found out that it was this app that was doing it. It's a great app, the features are great, the alarms make it easy to wake up, and the smart device integration is wonderful! HOWEVER if you are having a similar problem the setting is in the lullaby section. The timeout setting, the default is 15 minutes after which it starts reducing volume. I hope this helps!

  37. Brian White-avatar

I chose this "sleep" app because it can use a wearable device to more accurately track my movements during sleep. Unfortunately, even wearing my old LG watch at night, the app thinks I'm asleep while reading in bed and even if I get up to use the toilet. I'm apparently never actually awake. Ever. I switched to the "sonar" mode and the results were even worse. I get better results from a different app that does only passive listening with the microphone.

  38. Mr Bravo-avatar

I set an alarm ringtone hoping it would wake me up with a soft pleasant sound. But the alarm sound is very loud and wakes up everyone in my house. I have the increasing volume setting off and I put the default volume very low but it still makes a super loud alarm noise in the morning...I'm going to have to use another app to wake me up.

  39. Ferdinand Lobo-avatar

Good app that does what it says. I don't know if you are human if you still sleep through these alarms (it's just a joke). This app has features like different alarm sounds to wake you up, I personally use the rooster. It might be annoying, but it gets the job done. There are other sounds that are more calming if you like that. I use the override controls so that I cannot snooze my alarm till I scan an NFC tag that I own. I recommend it!

  40. brit poirier-avatar

Pretty good app! No huge issues and I enjoy listening to my snoring or sleep talking. LOL, I found it a little confusing to navigate at first but it is getting easier the more I use it! I believe that easier navigation and a more classy, organized, put together look for the app would boost it to a 5 star for me.

  41. Boyd Densmore-avatar

This app is well designed, feature rich, and very capable. I especially love the streaming radio feature, right down to being able to easily add my own stations. Fantastic idea. Overall, this app has helped me adjust my sleep schedule as well as get more sleep in general. Bought the app ages ago and am definitely not disappointed, keep up the good work folks!

  42. anton vinogradov-avatar

    anton vinogradov

The app does what it says it will. Sleep tracking is great, and has all the bells and whistles. But the interface for looking at graphs is not consistent across graphs and as such I cannot really recommend this to anyone. some graphs you need to scroll up and down before you scroll left and right otherwise it will just scroll to the next tab. Other graphs you can't scroll and if you select any portion of the graph (aka try to scroll) it zooms in on that portion. I just want it to be intuitive.

  43. Keyur Golani-avatar

One of the must have apps for me on any smartphone. This helps me track my sleep, take action on improving my sleep and measure the effectiveness of the steps taken. It is so convenient and works well with wearables to measure other things too.

  44. Ryan Clayton-avatar

Will change to 5 star once they fix this problem!!! Since 02/18/2020 app no longer tracks movement wile sleeping and no longer activities alarm at set time. Been using this app for 5 or more years to wake up on time and not a single issue till now. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!!!

  45. Nick Alexander-avatar

It used to work really well. Now, over the last 2 weeks, my alarms won't go off at all. I'm sure to make sure it's being set for am not pm but they won't go off still. I have to uninstall and go back to the stock clock app until I can confirm it's working again. Unfortunate as I bought the pro version too Edit edit: Thanks Petr :D

  46. Alec Stanley-avatar

The functionality of the app is beyond any other app I have ever seen before, and same with the flat material look of the inside of the app. My one complaint, which is a big one for me, is that the actual alarm screen that displays when an alarm goes off is... very ugly. It doesn't fit in with the flat the of the app, the snooze and dismiss buttons are colored bad and aren't rounded, and it's just unpleasant.

  47. Martha Benton-avatar

I like this app a lot to look at the quality of sleep I got. Seems more accurate/in depth than the one that came on my active 2 but really who knows maybe I just like what it says better :-D. It eats the watch battery overnight. Without running the app my watch can last a while but after I installed it and it runs overnight I will wake up with my watch dead or almost.

  48. elsa fernandez-avatar

Ok this app is great, I use it every night. It might not be the most accurate but I'm ok with it. One thing to remember though is that when you set your alarm ringtone, they have this experimental thing to choose music from spotify. Be careful here, because it works, but it plays the last song you played on the app and believe me, it's not always great.

Alarm features have saved me!!! This app has helped me go to sleep at a consistent time (with bedtime notifications) and helped me to wake up more refreshed and most importantly...On time!! (I must complete 5 simple math problems before the alarm will turn off. Haven't slept through this yet and I feel very alert afterwards!) Play with the alarm options and pick your favorite task. You'll never sleep through another one again!!

  50. Menoly Cates-avatar

It's overall an okay app for what I need. I just want to track my sleep. I haven't tried the alarm function yet and don't really want to. But I feel like I'm being punished for not using the premium version by my sleep tracking to just change completely one day to a different type of chart. I don't have plans on using any of the other features listed for premium and the ads haven't been an issue for me.. but I'm still getting a little screwed over for being a casual user.

Since last update, I have to unlock my phone and open the app to disable the alarm. It used to show on top, but now I literally have to search for it in order to turn it off. It also randomly went off in the middle of the day, with no alarm actually set. I will use the default alarm until this is fixed.

  52. Kelly Dunsmore-avatar

This is the most comprehensive sleep app I gave ever seen. It is great to track my sleep and to see the differences in how I sleep each night. I also love the smart alarm to wake up and do feel better rested when using this app! Thank you!

  53. Jason Harvey-avatar

After using the "skip next" option, my alarm has become inconsistent and unreliable. This is unacceptable. I've been using this app for many years, but if I can't count on my alarm going off, what use is it? Please sort this out, I'm pretty angry right now.

  54. Tim Swast-avatar

Wonderful sleep tracking app with integrations for smart watches. I especially like the customizable wake up notifications. Since I like to wake up earlier than my partner on the weekends, it's really helpful to be able to set the alarm to only vibrate the watch and not make any alarm sound. This app has helped me identify problematic patterns in my sleep and also the conditions when I sleep the best. I love that it has many charts about your sleep history.

  55. Carly-avatar

I've used this app for years and have loved it. The most recent update has changed it so that now several unskippable ads play in a row as soon as you dismiss an alarm. Exiting to your home screen and reopening the app does not dismiss the ad. I have multiple alarms set in a row in case I sleep through one, so now I am unable to easily turn off the remaining alarms when I dismiss the one going off. I will definitely be switching to a different alarm app if this doesn't get reverted soon.

  56. Ivan Stankov-avatar

Excellent app! Used the free version for a few months and then bought the premium. Always wakes me up at the right time and I feel full of energy during the day with less sleep. Awesome for quick nap during the day. Good advices regarding your sleep habits. Really helped me increase the quality of my life for the 5 months I am using it. Thanks to the developers for putting out this incredibly usefull app!

  57. Geeky Fanatic-avatar

I'm finally not oversleeping! I haven't had the chance to use every feature, but what I've used is fantastic. The app sounds aren't really effective, but you're able to use any sound from your phone. And the app is able to memorize bar codes, which you have the option to use as the off switch for the alarm. I put it in the bathroom. Until you scan it, it won't go off - even the volume can't be turned down. SO AFFECTIVE. Only downside to the app: it goes by media volume - no more sleeping music

  58. Mr Kinema-avatar

I like the app. Question, I understand the need to place ads on the app, given that it is free to use, but I was wondering if the background of the ads themselves can be changed to something less blindingly white? I primarily use this app after eliminating all bright light sources in my room. Of course my phone is a light source too so I take measures to lessen the impact (eg. reducing brightness). Pre-undate, themes had weaker colurs aid this but now the ads are making things bright.

This works beautifully on my Ticwatch Pro and updated Google Fit automatically. It gives me invaluable data and information about my sleep quantity and quality and has helped me to improve my sleep duration and general well-being. Top app with a great user experience. Love it.

Definitely the best alarm app that I have ever used, I am a terrible at getting up in the morning but the CAPTCHA really helps! I use the math problem to keep me from turning off the alarm before I'm really awake, as I usually turn off the alarm and go straight back to sleep otherwise, I've gotten better at math so I had to increase the difficulty a few times now. I've also integrated the alarm with my hue lights so when the alarm goes off, my lights turn on too. 5/5 would recommend to everyone!

  61. Brian Soper-avatar

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and use a bi-pap machine. This app changes everything about my quality of sleep!!! I recommend using a smartwatch with the app and it's giving me the best sleep I've experienced in a long time. I sleep deeper, much less waking events, and wake up refreshed with the alarm set to ideal. After my first night of sleep, I loved how I slept and awakened, that I purchased the app on the play store. The author of this app is a genius. Needs a rating above 5 stars!!!

The App didn't work correctly on OnePlus 7Pro but I installed it on my old OnePlus 3 and all is fine. It's a bit complicated setting up but the output is useful. Thanks for the reply Petr. I must admit I lost patience with the workarounds for the OnePlus7Pro. I also believe that Apps should work correctly when they are released but probably that's not possible. Anyway I am happy it's working on my OnePlus 3. I also follow follow the advice of Michael Breus regarding sleep times.

  63. Lisa Lannom-avatar

Petr Nálevka, Thank you. Your response is greatly appreciated. A problem with the legend is it can be rather difficult to find. You must be in the bar chart portion of the app for the menu function to appear. The menu doesn't show up in any other portion of the app. Also, at the time I reviewed the app, the legend did not explain the red (heart beat) line. I'm happy to see it, and other external lines, are now explained. Again, thank you for the work you continue to put into this app 😊

  64. C Kelly-avatar

Here I was thinking you'd have to do math to snooze it, but it turns out you only have to do math to turn off the alarm. Snooze it, then disable the next alarm to minimize noise when there's someone else. I even paid for it, and I don't like it much. It's difficult to use and you cannot edit the length of your sleep if there's something wrong, you have to delete the whole thing and lose the good data to get accurate length. Gonna keep looking, but I'm not hopeful to find something better.

On multiple occasions, one being this morning..the alarm didnt go off..TWICE. I have 2 alarms set. One for my partner and for me. Neither went off this morning. This happened just about a week ago too. Happening all too frequently.

  66. Ash Oholic-avatar

I haven't seen the problem more than two times now, but I appreciate the developers reaching out. Was 5* before last update. Twice after using snooze one time, upon the next alarm, the dismiss option disappeard. Even after I choose the stop and save option the alarm keet going and got louder until I had to power off phone.

  67. Sarah Toman-avatar

In general I really like the app, but I really wish the "Skip Next" feature was more easily accessible. If I have a day off work, I want an easy, quick way to turn off the next alarm without having to go all the way into the settings. Bonus would be to integrate a calendar of alarm exceptions (ie if Xmas is on Weds, don't play my Weds alarm.) and/or skip multiple days (i.e. if I go on vacation on Weds, on Tues I would select "Skip Next 3" so my M-F alarm wouldn't go off until next Mon).

I used this app before I had a smart watch to use it with, and that is the reason why I like this app. I use the sonar mostly. I enjoy checking out all the grafts, and lullaby options. Now that I use it with a watch, I like all the extra info I receive from the watch app, and compare both info. Whenever I've had a question, someone always got back with me within 48hr or less, that's better than most. I would definitely recommend this app to everyone.

I love this app and have used it for years. But in the past few days it's quit working! Now it says it records sleep but there is no record, I cannot get it to "stop recording" or delete last nights activity even though it shows no activity. 😔 Help! I really do manage my sleep health through this and it sucks not to be able to use it.

  70. James Harr-avatar

Pry this app out of my cold dead hands. The alarm features alone make this app worth it. I have a standard recurring alarm and can tweak the time when my schedule changes for a single day and not have to remember to set things back. I no longer use the sleep tracking feature for personal reasons, but everything else about this app makes it worth it.

  71. Nadia Young-Mangani-avatar

    Nadia Young-Mangani

I would give zero stars if I could. First of all, it doesn't record snoring so that's one lie the developers told. Secondly it doesn't actually keep track of how deeply you're sleeping either. I would go so far as to say the developers lied about that too. I just had a really bad night where I couldn't sleep and ended up staying awake the whole night. I left the app running and was even on and off my phone, this app said I got 6 hours of REM sleep LOL! Only the alarm works as advertised.

  72. Lisa Adler-avatar

Iffy, don't believe it actually works Supposedly measures sleep cycles, but even with a smart watch on that measures my pulse the app doesn't know I'm up walking around unless I tell it by shooting if the alarm. If I get up early it reports back to Samsung health that I was sleeping. Using Samsung s2 classic smart watch on Samsung note 8. Maybe it works, but doubtful. If it can't tell up walking around from sleeping idk how you can think it can measure sleep cycles.

  73. Shreyas Rao-avatar

Absolutely amazing! It's a feature-rich, yet easy-to-use app. The UX is wonderfully intuitive. The ability to monitor sleep and wake up at an ideal time is a true life-saver for me, since my entire day depends on that one moment during waking up which has to be perfect, and this app provides that for me. Kudos developers!

  74. Luís Silva-avatar

I've been using this app for a while, I used to like it a lot, but recently the alarm does not ring. If I put the alarm for 20 mins or 1 hour after (essentially as a trial) it will work, but if I put it for 7 or 8 hours later then it just doesn't work. I've got very late for work 2 times in a row before I realised the alarm was just not working. I am about to delete it if there is no solution for this.

I think this has solved my problem!!! The sleep tracking and noise recording is cool, but its ability to adjust the alarm to an optimal wake up time based on my sleep has me waking up quicker, easier, and more refreshed! The alarm options also give me the mental stimulation I need to make good decisions during the waking process. LOVE THIS APP!!!

  76. Matej Mulej-avatar

Had some problems at the beginning when I didn't go through all the options yet and the app didn't yet ask me for all the necessary permissions. Once they were all granted, it work perfectly. So far still on trial.

  77. Tyra C-avatar

I have been using this app for years, on and off, and recently started using again. I encountered an issue with the reactivation of the premium features I had previously purchased when I got a new phone, however, I received excellent support and got everything working again without a hitch.

This app is truly the best sleep app I've encountered over the past few years. It tracks so many features that I would never expect such as light levels, snoring, and sleep irregularities. It has a myriad of graphs and charts to track literally everything related to sleep which is really fun to look at and compare between. It also has great location data so you can see how you sleep in different locations.

  79. Adriana Is Me-avatar

I hear people saying this is a good app, but the thing is I can't even tell if it is because of how hard it is to understand how to use it. It just bombards you with so much stuff and very little explanation. You can see what specific buttons do and all, but I just cannot tell what I am supposes to be doing with it or what it is doing after I finish setting the alarms, and the graph is confusing. People say you get used to it, but it is really a hassle to start with, so I will have to switch.

  80. Debra Rush-avatar

Such a great medical tool for us "solo" sleepers to use to answer a Doc asking "do you snore or have periods of not breathing (apnea) when you sleep?" I am a Cardiac patient & this is very important info to report. After realizing how little Deep Sleep & how frequent I was waking up every night; my MD & I were able to make important changes. I was able to report AND show him any progress on the graphs & charts. THANKYOU!

This app changes the way I wake up so much. I typically wake up either super tired or with a sort of adrenaline rush from my normal alarm. The way this app wakes you up at the perfect time and eases you into it is my favorite feature. Thanks for the sale btw. I already had a balance of $3 in Google play so I only really paid like $3.99. I'm so glad I tried this app.

  82. Ebon McGlown-avatar

Spotify connectivity + smart wake-up were the largest selling points and neither seem to work. Firstly, nothing is explained. What is "enhanced" alarm reliability? And does the "smart period" start before the set alarm time or after? Because it seems to be neither. Second, you can't pick from your Spotify playlists only from a short list of super random albums or "current playlist". The list of albums does not change for anything so you'd have to queue your playlist up every night.

  83. 1tinylove-avatar

Sadly I haven't been able to get the lullaby feature working with spotify for over a year but the rest of the app is good. Smart alarm to wake you when you're in a light cycle of sleep and sleep duration and cycle tracking are the best.

  84. Ignacio Muñoz-avatar

Amazing app, really captures a lot of data, then does analysis and provides recommendations and easy to understand graphs! Alarms are incredibly customizable by tone, shut off method, delay, etc. Really allows one to track sleep and ensure that rest is productive. Super easy to use! Premium is even better.

  85. Kevon Lindenberg-avatar

There are a few options lacking. Like where is the wake up with light option, also how about integrating the wakeup app with Google record app so it can auto transcribe out voice, and some machine learning to have it know which person in the bed is me would be excellent.

  86. Ryan King-avatar

This is the best sleep tracking app on the market easily. It has a lot of very good features and can do things like use sonar to track your sleep. No app is perfect, but I'm giving this 5 stars because every time I've posted someone takes a lot of time to respond. They clearly care about the users, are committed to updating the app and are open to suggestions. Keep up the good work!

  87. Glenn Bryant-avatar

Not Very Intuitive This app seems to have a lot of great features, but no instructions or explanations for how to use them, or what the features are for (e.g. there is an option for a "pee light", bug it doesn't say what the "pee light" does. ) The app gives you a lot of data, but no legend for interpreting it. It tells me my "sleep deficit" is high, but what is a sleep deficit? There are line graphs illustrating your sleep cycle, but no units of measurement (that I can find) to read the graph

  88. Michael Peng-avatar

Very non-intuitive UI with features slotted under areas that don't really make sense, and just very strange groupings that make it extremely annoying to find things. The cards are also broken, e.g. The card's deficit graph looks nothing like the actual deficit graph when I tap into it. Might be because I changed by ideal sleep duration and the card never updates somehow. Annoying app to use and the charts/graphs are not clear, nor are they easy to navigate at all.

  89. Athena Ravenna-avatar

The app is great except that the "smart period" feature is enabled by default and there seems to be no way to change this. You have to manually change it for each alarm you set, and it is easy to forget to do that. I'm not sure what the purpose of this feature is. When I set my alarm for a specific time, it means I want the alarm to go off AT THAT TIME, not 30 minutes before hand. If I wanted to wake up 30 minutes earlier, then I would have set my alarm for 30 minutes earlier.

  90. Kalei Hughes-avatar

I love this app, and I use the bird song sound, but sometimes the chirping will keep going for an hour after the alarm stops. I cant get it to stop even after turning the alarm off, closing the app, force stopping AND UNINSTALLING THE APP. Everything else is great, but this is driving me crazy.

  91. Gwen Pine-avatar

This app has helped me deal with the stress of caring for my husband who has Alzheimer's Disease. The guided meditations/stories put me to sleep every night. I am more conscious of my thoughts, unnecessary self critism so I can let them go. I only spend 15 -20 minutes every morning with one of the guided meditations.

  92. Jake Davies-avatar

After three nights has without fail woken me up right in the middle of a dream each time. Kind of defeats the point really... Is the app much more accurate when wearing a smartwatch? I like the options and the overall idea but if it doesn't track your sleep accurately then it's basically just a fancy alarm clock.

  93. Lucas Randall-avatar

I previously used the sleep tracking on my old Fitbit Versa, which was pretty good & used only the wearable. When I switched to a Wear OS Ticwatch Pro, I had to find another solution. After using Sleep as Android for a couple of days I'm struck by the different approach the developer has taken. Must of the work is done by the phone, with the wearable optionally providing heart-rate readings. This includes snoring recordings, which you can play back to hear how annoying you are to your partner

  94. James Grady-avatar

No longer showing dismiss/snooze option when alarm is triggered following system update on my Note 9 in Jan 2020, please fix as I can't use without dismiss/snooze option! I found the issue I had some time ago blocked notifications but this did not block the dismiss/ snooze option until this latest update from Samsung, I think they made a change to notification permissions giving me more control over what apps can do but block everything by default.

I've been tracking my sleep for nearly 6 years and this app has given me a valuable insight into how good that sleep has been and recorded some rather hilarious sleep talking. I've decided actually that it's become such an integral part of my routine that I'm now just using it to auto track my sleep. Amazing app for anyone who wants to know what goes on when they're not conscious!

This app actually changed my life, no hyperbole. I go to bed tired, and I get up full of energy, not the other way around! I didn't think having a healthy relationship with sleep would ever happen for me! Thank you so much to the developers!

Great app, been using it for a while, but recently I've been getting an issue where the captcha alarm won't dismiss no matter what and I have to complete disable the app to get it to stop (via pm disable-user com.urbandroid.sleep). It only happens occasionally but it's still annoying

Is actually not free, seems like but then functionalities start to drop. Isn't clear the sleep phases you need and there is no advice or proper evaluation of the sleep. Hard to know if it was a proper sleep or not and possible reasons why.
