The game could be better with improved hints and fixing the selection process. Many times throughout the game, I would double tap something and it would not zoom in. I would leave it thinking that zooming in on it was not possible, then I would get stuck and use a hint that says to zoom in on the part I was trying to zoom in on before. Some of the hints were just plain unnecessary and were not properly updated based on progress. Aside from those 2 minor issues, the game was plenty of fun!!

Update: Now that I've played the Room 1&2, this is way better. The machines *feel* mechanical, the story is fleshed out in the sequel. Gorgeous, top-notch game. My only concern is for the hints. The hint system can be more intuitive. Sometimes it'll give me a hint like "I should use the oculi" when I'm already using it, and I'm really looking for the thing that comes next. The other issue is with the pipe puzzle, trying to grab the lever to rotate the sections was too challenging. Great game!

Good game, puzzles not obtuse. Decent goofy story. The only gripes I have is it's a bit dark and hard to see all the places to interact with, which I guess is part of the challenge, and controls are a bit hard too. Sometimes had trouble with registering swiping motions. Also it has sliding tile puzzles and those are my kryptonite.

I'm enjoying these puzzles more than The Room. Not nearly as frustrating. The graphics are stunning. Well worth the money. My only complaint is that because of eyesight problems I struggle when the images and puzzles are dark. Something brighter next time please!

Fun and frustrating. I appreciate the thought that goes into these games. Good graphics. Two complaints; 1. There were times when the game didn't register that I was doing the thing it said I needed to do. Like examining an item for a moving piece but nothing moves. I use a hint, it tells me to do the thing I already tried, but this time it works. It's like you need to use a hint to activate the next puzzle. 2. Hints are redundant and not always helpful.

The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful and incredibly intricate. Game play is intriguing and challenging; it's like you're actually in a genius' workshop trying to figure out how things work. The storyline is minimal; your actions are driven by the discovery of new rooms and devices to explore. Hints are embedded if you need them (I definitely did), and aside from being pretty dim in lighting, making it hard to see even in darkness, it's a masterpiece. Worth every penny.

This game is UNRESPONSIVE. Ive never had to tap, pinch, and swipe so many times to get something to work! Some elements would not work until AFTER using the hint several times in a row. The globe section was not explained properly and I had to look up a solution. Unless it's on sale, do NOT buy, unless on sale. It's beautiful, great music, but the basic elements do not work, making you think something is wrong. The hints do help, but you NEED them in some areas. Good luck. 2.5-3 * for sure!

I've been hesitant to download this game simply because of the cost. I know five bucks isn't much. But I was pleasantly surprised. The puzzles are very good some are very challenging. The graphics are excellent, some of the lighting could be better in places. But overall an excellent puzzle style game. If you're a fan of Leonardo DaVinci you will love using his inventions as props for the puzzles. The mechanical aspect is very immersive. Definitely a hit for me.

This game was so creative and beautiful, but the controls were frustrating. Movements in some puzzles had to be ridiculously precise, like threading a needle. A few of the puzzles were also quite tedious to solve, with a lot of back and forth and repetitive action. A great game, but needs a little development.

Good, challenging, well designed and animated, consistently themed game. Some of the puzzles were clear, some challenging and some very hard. Definitely recommend but requires patience, good observation skills and some problem solving ability. Area for improvement: controls/placement can be a bit fiddly and requires exact placement. Hints: Maybe a couple more for Chapter 7 and the overall letter for Chapter 8 possibly needs a few more directions/instructions to navigate the level overall
