Very useful in helping me read along with science literature. Preliminary editing of the text (ex. Google docs, mic. office) before uploading through this app is useful--abbreviations, figures, headers, footers, etc. make it hard to follow when inserted in the middle of the body of text. Good stuff for auditory learners.

  2. John M-avatar

    John M

Just started using this app, and although it is very good (in my opinion better than speechify), two things that could be better are a choice of voice (there's only one) and a "time" for the listening, and a "time left" indicator. This would come in very handy for study. Otherwise, a very good app.

  3. The one and only Chimp-avatar

    The one and only Chimp

I am impressive, i nomal dont give reviews but i have to say this is a good app, i am student and a dyslexia one too this really helps with my understanding and reading it also easy to use (pess the + ,then press the camera icon ,take the photo and press play) it that simple also the only problem is the person talking some like a robot if you can change that then you will be in the golden. I know alot about i.t got a distinction on it

  4. John Doe-avatar

    John Doe

So far so good. Seems to do what I want it to do. Adds are not to annoying. I can copy some text and paste for app to read. Or write something in the app and have it read to me. Which I can copy and paste in an email or documents etc. I may increase the star ratings with more use

  5. Jai Bai-avatar

    Jai Bai

Great app but screen layout does not work for me as I cannot read what I am entering as the icons from bottom of screen before keyboard is activated have moved up and are blocking my view.

  6. Connie Fox-avatar

    Connie Fox

This is so cool! You can take pictures of print and it will read it to you. It appears to be all free. I even took a picture of my TV from across the room and had it read the text it was on it.

  7. Patrick Martin-avatar

    Patrick Martin

Use it everyday! It would be awesome if there was a note attachment to be able to save the things I've pasted in to listen to. Thanks for an awesome app! I've been using it for several months. It continues to work well.

  8. Bea Jacquin-avatar

    Bea Jacquin

No way to start later in a doc. Trying to fast forward through is too big a hassle without a bookmark feature to pick up where you left off. Unfortunate as the rest of the app seemed great.

  9. Stiina-avatar

    Stiina

Very good. But moving around within the text (backing up or going forward) for more than a line or two is very laborious. If I want to start a text from the beginning if I only got halfway in reading it, the app will insist on reading from the same spot that I left off at even if I take the text off and put it back afresh. Needs work.

  10. Daniel Leigh-avatar

    Daniel Leigh

I use this for all types of long messages and articles. Once you get used to the robotic voice it's no issue. Very helpful app
