A good upgrade over the existing app. The downloadable newspaper is good, and the ability to access the puzzles is a big plus. It's also nice to be able to access and make comments on articles from within the app, rather than the previous version, which sent the user to the external website, where invariably one had to log in again. All in all, this is a well developed app.

This is just a review of the technical merits of the app, not any editorial content. Works as I would expect, stable and easy to navigate. I do particularly like the ability to read each days paper in digital form, while still being able to jump around through hyperlinks in articles, searches and top stories when desired.

Despite a few rendering issues, there was nothing far wrong with the old app. This new one is driving me nuts. I read an article, click back and nothing happens, I click back again and it closes. I reopen, go to latest, click an article, nothing happens. I click it again, and again, then it opens. I try to go back and it goes to that stupid "looks like a newspaper" screen. I go back to Latest. Scroll down to where I had previously got to. Try to open a new article. Nothing happens. I can go on

Significantly better than the old app but wish it had a dark theme. Also I'm not sure where all my saved articles have gone and there doesn't seem to be a search function that I have found. Perhaps it's just me being dim, but if not these are annoying issues. Other than that runs fairly smooth.

Excellent content as you would expect, but the "Settings" button (in the bottom right) is annoyingly easy to accidentally hit with a thumb while the "Back" button (in tbe top left) is difficult to reach with a thumb.

Very, very poor. I dislike this version of the app as it continually tries to push you into subscribing to the newspaper. Now, some articles you have to subscribe to the paper to read, very disappointing tactic. I will be unsubscribing to the digital service, unless ithe app changes back.

This new app has a tendency to jump out of the article being read and take the reader back to a home page from where it can be a struggle to find the article again. The old app was way better!!!

Maddeningly designed, or rather not designed. Do not catch the buttons at the bottom or your back to the start trying to find the article you were reading. Why no back button in settings? Clearly never test this on a small screen.

Much harder to go to the section i am interested than the previous version. Looks like a newspaper! So old. This new release is making me unlikely to continue my subscription.

The new telegraph app does not allow one to filter the news. They have to keep on swiping right or left. Obviously it is not ideal for someone looking for a specific section.
