    So, the app is great, but recently my account was blocked. I have contacted the support and they didn't provide a clear reason, just something in general that they detected some suspicious activity from my account. And moreover, they asked me to send them my photo with my passport or driver's license arguing that is needed for my financial security. Such a request is really suspicious of their side. My financial security is my own and my bank responsibility.

    apk I haven't had problems until recently, I accidentally forgot to change from 'card' to 'cash' and as soon as the driver came I told him that and that's where problems come... I understand cancellation fees but I was charged full price and the driver didn't even move 20metres. And tying to log a complaint you get answers that aren't helpful because you can't type in your query. And now my account is blocked. No explanation

    My experience with bolt is the best ... But one thing I want to hard with you guys is to redevelope the app in such a way that when you request a ride the drive should be able to see you point of destination before accepting the request.. I think with this .. it will help the reduce the rate of cancelling request . Thank you

    bad experience at my first ride, terrible ETA at pickup, I don't know for sure if it was the driver or the app, but i guess also the app has some problems. Also I am not comfortable with the paying method, I don't have time to check after each ride if they reverted my initial money or not. I'll give it another try, but if it's going to be the same, I will stick with Uber. in the app i can't see the route, it's a problem on my phone or this is how it should work?

    Great app, but I think the developers should work closely with Bolt coz there are instances where you request a ride only for another person or the actual driver in another vehicle which is not listed in their profile, and there is no option for clients to report this issue which is a serious security threat

    There seems to be a problem with the pickup address. No matter the place, it sets the pin behind that building. It is really annoying to move the pin to the front of the building and to explain to the driver that he has to go round if you have an additional stop, because you cannot correct the pin for a stop. Also, you can't see any driver details, like on uber app.

    This app was ok but this current update has made the app very annoying, and I don't know if there is an error with the map because just yesterday and today I have paid like 4× the normal price that was detected with the location but the driver sent me to a different location. Please do something about this.

    I loved this app until they started over charging me! I'm really so unhappy and if they don't fix this I'm gone ! You can't just show me the price and take more money right after I get off the bloody car! Fix this or you will definitely lose customers !!!

    It's close to perfect. The only issue I have with you guys is the increment you do on trips. Without considering if the passenger have extra cash to pay. Please work on this. It brings unnecessary issues between drivers and passengers.

    The lack in customer service to help with technical payment issues is generic. The explanation is not in the FAQ, furthermore making the app redundant and there's a loss of business. Not listening to the customer's query and is dismissing the request to help.

    The app works great however there are never any driver's available in my area at the time that I need one. I've waited 30 minutes for someone to accept my ride as well as for a driver to be available. I eventually used Uber which I have never had issues securing a lift with at anytime of day. Perhaps you need to market your brand towards obtaining driver's before customers in areas that are lacking in service. At the end of the day it's your name that takes a knock. I was rooting for Bolt...

    My experience has been bad, I'm always having this issue of either the driver tells me to cancel because he is far away from location to my location is far, I don't get why that now happens so often or he arrives late or he has a network issue accessing the map or he'd prefer cash instead of card. I also do not understand why in most cases the map doesn't correlate well.

    The app has affordable and fast transport but it's not safe, bolt must start doing background check when registering drivers, most of their drivers are criminals hiding behind the app, they changed the name from taxify to bolt because of bad reviews may be that helps them for business but their criminals are still transporting innocent community.

    The app is not functional, it always says that the driver is on the location for 1 minute and then stands still for at least 7 minutes and does not move. The arrival time of the driver is not shown exactly. Ride prices are higher than shown. Poor service.

    Its good App so far so good but your discounts are costing us time. Drivers go offline cos the prices are dropping by almost half. Every day its a promotion considering the fuel hikes, these drivers also need to make money. I would have given the App 5 stars but its sucks these days

    The app is awesome, except sometimes the ETA for the driver is 3 minutes during 10 or 15 minutes. If I'm in a hurry, and want to cancel the ride, the app wants to charge me. For what? For the driver to stay on one place for 15 mins straight?

    Same as other apps but half of the price... Many drivers also told me they were better paid with it compared to other apps. Like all the apps it's probably going to go down in quality at some point. But so far it is very good 👍

    There are never bolts available...I just confirmed a ride and then it told me that the bolt will arrive in 2mins but then it went the wrong way,i suppose it got a request from someone else...The last time i had to wait so long just for the driver to end up cancelling the ride😡😡😡

    I am un-installing this app right now. Not only is it not safe with the caliber of drivers on the app, but they also rip people off. I have used the app almost everyday since July till now, October, and enough, is enough.

    It's been nice so far but there's obviously still room for improvements, especially cautioning drivers that deploy such undesirable tactics of swindling unsuspecting passengers such as clicking "arrived" she they haven't arrived among others.

    Since i started using this app i didn't complain and i rated for the drivers i even recommended my friends to use it,but unfortunately you disappointed me this year,on July i took a tax and the end of my trip driver asked big amount which i didn't notice,after relaxed i opened my email and found out that he asked large amount and it was different with Bolt,i sent a mail and had conversations with them they said they'll sent my no to a driver and be refunded but nothing happened

    My friends and I downloaded bolt and over the past 3 days have tried to book at least 3 different taxis using bolt. Each and every time, on every one of our accounts, the drivers never turned up and deliberately started driving in the opposite direction to where we were waiting for them. Each time we had to cancel and use uber instead. Bolt may be cheap, but it seems you can't count on anyone actually turning up for your booking.

    Great app but I have a problem with drivers constantly asking you where you are and where your destination is going to be. Aren't all these details supposed to be seen at a glance when a customer makes order? It's frustrating.

    Good app itself however drivers accept bookings then stay put for a long time. I think they accept bookings when they are not in their cars. Not good when your in a hurry to get to work!

    The app is good. Drivers were respectful so far. However, I cannot add my debit card and the taxi does not have seat belt in the back seat. Also, the time is not accurate. It says 1 minute but the driver is 10 minutes away from the pick up location.

They want me to contact bolt. Why can't it be like any other app where you just go to settings and delete account

    It used to be a good app but of late it has become pathetic. On numerous occasion I had requested for a ride only to be given a driver who is miles a way, I had to cancell a number of times and at the end they blocked me. Some of the drivers are less professional, I don't understand why a driver would accept my request knowing he is far from me then only indicate he has arrived yet he has not moved even an inch. This happened to me many times and as early as today morning, will just uninstall it

    The App is good but drivers needs training, most of them are rude and lacks mannerism. 2. The drivers keeps declining card request and insisting on cash payment, this can be very embarrasing and should be addressed by the owners of the App.

    Would like that in the next update, it would be easier to pin the home address by just putting on the location and pin the current location. I say this because whenever i type my home address, the map says the location is not recognized and hence makes it difficult to take rides home.

    The app is really good n would have given it 5 stars because use it everyday, to work even to move around town..However two weeks ago the prices suddenly have gone way up doubling my normal price. N that is ridiculous really..i have unfortunately downloaded the other app and It's quite sad that i have to let go because this app has been so good but the sudden change is unreasonable n unfair n doesn't make sense when other app still charges the same amount you are used to for the same distance.

    Does what you expect, the joining promo is extremely appreciated, however, twice now I've booked a Bolt and was assigned a driver that is driving past me while on another job. Instead of showing how long it will take for that job to finish and come back, it simply shows that the driver is 1 min away... Have had to wait 5+ mins in both cases (obviously not terrible).. But I'd assume there are other drivers nearby that aren't on a current job that would take less than 5+ mins to get to me.

    Used them twice today (6-Oct-20) after Uber doubled the pricing for my trip from the day before. My limited exposure and experience is this : very short wait times; friendly, well-speaking and clean drivers/vehicles. Price is very reasonable and for my trip, R100 odd cheaper than what uber initially charged me the day before. So far, highly recommended.

    Haven't had any major issues until recently. Drivers are increasingly trying to get money out of clients by claiming you haven't paid the bill. Your account gets blocked and support takes hours or even days to get back to you. Drivers hardly ever have change, don't move on the app or a competely different person shows up, sometimes its even a different car. Please fix this so it can go back to being a completely pleasant experience.

    Really good app, trustworthy, but the only problem I'm facing for the last 2 weeks is their price that's automatically just increase due to high demand, you would think when the demand is high, it would be cheaper but it increases in minutes, even in 1 minute, you check now, 1min later its like double the price. I normally pay R37 to take my son to school which is 3.5km,when the "demand is high" it goes up to R91, that's just way too ridiculous. And that's when customers choose another app.

    I was invited by my friend and was given a £10 free promo to use on my first trip. I tried to use it and it would not allow me so I booked my journey anyway. I called customer support and they simply said sorry nothing we can do. Not very customer friendly and really am disappointed because I downloaded it because of the free promotion

    Restricted areas for speed should be somewhere which is too crowded and specified( not just part of a bridge!!!!) At first on the bridge, the speed was ok, but then after a while the speed dropped and a empty lane which should be ended in 8 minutes, was 16 minutes!!! Another thing is that I picked up a scooter in a no parking zone, and I wanted to go in normal areas, but the speed was limited, it doesn't make sense to apply speed limit on someone that just picked up the scooter.

    This app sucks. You allow it to detect your location and when you want to order a ride, you have to keep typing in your current location. Then after you have being given a ride, you are charged more. Lets say on the app it had said 90€, on reaching your destination it says you have to pay 130€. Wouldn't recommend this app. DO NOT download

    Had great experiences until recently. Now any ride i get connected to -the driver dorsnt move in app. This has been happening all week. What is wrong? Staring at an unmoving car at the screen is stressful to say the least. Bolt app writes the driver will arrive in a minute or two but i am looking at an unmoving car for over 5 minutes.     Works pretty well but doesn't have much functionality. Uber is a bit more advanced, but unlike Bolt often has problems with payments for some reason.

    I like your app. But I'm getting fed up of drivers who don't know how to drive with GPS. Asking all the time whether we should go left or right. Some even take wrong route (longer), I don't know whether it's intentional in order for the price to go higher. Please teach your drivers how to read maps

    I liked this app at the start coz drivers I used on the first four trips were exceptionally helpful, kind and honest. Later on, the drivers started acting like broad daylight thieves; some would start the trip before even reaching my pickup location, and others would manipulate the app and charge me more than what was shown on the app. It's so annoying coz the company itself does nothing to help the aggravated customer! Secondly, drivers don't use the specific car types that you have chosen.

    Easy to use. Quick to see where there are available e-scooters. Rapidly shows cost of a trip. Usually fairly quick to scan a scooter for hire. Sometimes doesn't allow parking in a spot where it was okay previously (?), which is a little frustrating when it happens, and adds a little time and money to the cost of a trip. Overall I love using Bolt app and scooters for short trips.

    The only reason I give this app a 4* rating is that it sometimes takes the drivers to the wrong address despite having used it more times than I can remember both from my house and to my house! I think you need to work on its location mapping for better performance. But all the same, kudos to Bolt!

    This app is helping those who want to attack Bolt drivers for picking up where they don't want Bolt to do pickups and those who want to robe the drivers . Because they track you by watching and targeting the car looking at where it is located or heading, because it shows the accurate location of the devices used for Bolt App . Only if the drivers loctions were not easily tracked through the riders App it would be much safe for both riders and drivers.

    If you had reserved scooter, but it cannot be found or broken, your money is gone. If you used it for one minute and it breaks or battery dies despite forecast there is plenty of juice, there is no button to be reimbursed. Overall, you can't complain while using scooter, and after that there is only button to report inconvenience, not get your money back. It is certainly on purpose, I can't imagine such mundane situations were not found during testing. Car features work fine, can't complain.

    The app is very good and easy to use. But what is even more important is that the customer service treats the customers seriously. I once had a problem with the driver who took a non-optimal route and I was charged the double of the estimated price. When I tried contacting the support, the system automatically gave me a discount for the next ride, and then when I reported the whole situation to the support employee, I received vouchers worth even more than the surcharge itself!

    Very intuitive and easy to use. One problem i've encountered is that i received an error that i have insufficient funds. I was able to transfer the funds immediately on the card, but when i retried to order a car, still the error didn't disappear and i was forced to use a different card because of this issue.

    This used to be a good app, but has gone downhill recently. Bolt always claims that they are 1 minute away when you can clearly see by the map that they are much further away than that. 1 minute usually turns into 5 or more. My most recent driver was supposed to arrive in 4 minutes, but ended up taking 15. It also seems to have a problem with locations as the drivers always pick me up in the wrong place. It's very inaccurate and inconvenient. I will not be using bolt again.

    Almost perfect... Hypothetically.. What if you could reserve a ride by setting a price you find reasonable when it's available.. kinda like bitcoin auto-trade. The price jumps a lot in an hour, I'd like to talk to my friends instead of refreshing the app constantly to check if the price is reasonable at that given minute

    Worst app ever. Glitchy, buggy, screws up one out of 4 trips. Gives 2 minutes arrival time while it takes the driver at least 10 minutes to get to the address. Uber is way better.

    Very silly app. I can send messages to drivers on the app, but they can't reply to the message. What's therefore the essence of the message feature? Location easily drifts off and gives a totally different information to drivers, which causes waste of prescious time. Why can't there be a lock on location or a reminder to users that there location may have changed from where they actually are to a totally different place?.

    Does not work on all wifi, like my hotel's. Also will not let you add a card during a ride. I did not know this and did not carry cash leaving a very bad impression for both me and the driver who yelled at my 2 year old daughter and I after I asked him if he could pull over and we could cancel the ride and restart it after I put in my card info. He just kept yelling "I'll report you!" for the entire second half of our ride. Extremely unpleasant after having difficulty with the app not working.

    The app doesn't work well because I took a ride and when I reached my destination, the driver said he cannot end the trip and I continued to sit in the car for about 10 minutes before the system worked again and he was able to end the trip and because of the delay my fare increased.

    Be very careful when using bolt scooters with their one-click fines. If you happen to park in a wrong place, you get a very quick question "Do you accept the fine". Which is perfectly normal. However, if you press it accidentally that's it. That same second you loose money. There are no additional questions or confirmations required. Update: support replied reimbursing for the parking fine. Reply was fast, the reimbursement is supposed to be done in a few days.

    The app sometimes doesn't manage to locate my exact adress where I am at automatically nor with pinning, I most of the time have to put my location manually and look around for number on buildings and that can be annoying since the numbers are not always visible. Other than that the app is great and I enjoy it

    I would definitely recommend this app to a lot of people, not only is Bolt affordable but you get to meet really nice drivers as well. One of the negative things about this app is that sometimes drivers share profiles and that can make the ride very uncomfortable for the passenger 💔 .

    Disastrous GPS, i.e. if passenger doesn't know the best (shortest/quickest) way...he's doomed. Also, it seems that the app has faulty parameters regarding "pickup time"- seems it counts "air distance" and drivers are not able to input the time by themselves.

    Convenient, easy to use, affordable and packed with discounts. There've been improvements overtime with the chat portal. It's faster now. The next update should let drivers respond with default statements. All in all, if you're using in Abuja, Nigeria I'd recommend it.

    I can NOT see any historyof my rides and paymets. They take the money from the bank account but I can NOT check for was that ammount calculated, what was the pricing, the time etc. P.S: It's not only my with this problem, a lot of friends have this same problem. UI/UX - You can NOT see in real time the status of the ride...only a simple time counter. Sorry, only 2 stars for the app. On the other hand, the electric scooters are good, robust, powerfull and a joy to ride.

    This was way better earlier. Last 4 times we called for Bolt: estimate time was showing 2-4 minutes. Arrival times were 10-15. When they show where driver is on map, it is obvious, that driver cannot make it even in 10 minutes, but app insists it will arrive in 2 mintues for the remaining time of 10 minutes. If I see Bolt that it will come after 15 minutes, I would cancel that driver and look for another one, however I will get penalized for that. So either stop lying about estimated arrival times, or stop penalizing for 10 minutes late drivers, when there is another one nearby.

    Best in its class for me. Would easily give it a 5 star if only it has options for booking fares for people for example if I have a friend coming over and does not have the app or a smart phone, I should be able to book a fare for the person, inputting the person's location and the tax picks the person up.     The vehicle monitoring was good before but now its bad in the sense that,the app displays that the vehicle is static, before u realise, the app will notify u that your driver has arrived. They ever since don't stop harassing me trying to make me use the account. Deleting the account now and blocking their number and email so they hopefully will stop.

I have been having bad experiences with bolt charging me twice and two thirds more even when prices are extremely still high, dis is totally ridiculous and when I complain they tell me they can't give refunds but instead 2cds discount, so annoying!!

    The app is very poor compared to other cab apps. It doesn't show you a route, that allows the cab drivers to take the long routes. This happened to me the first time I used it, where the driver took an additional 30 min to take me to my destination and change me 20% more than the app indicated. Would not recommend it to anyone!

    The app doesn't recognize undocumented movement like when rider takes u from one place to another. I have had several issues and have lost a lot of money as a driver. It switches off along the road and riders won't come back and will only pay the amount shown as at when it logged itself out. Going to uninstall because the application misinforms about the costs; can't reccomend it at all Edit: Forgot to mention the support is not willing to refund the ride and offers only vouchers for next three rides which is completely absurd because this means I will have to spend money three more times so the company gets even more money from me. Ridiculous

    The app is terrible, very limited features and almost no transparency make it very easy for drivers to scam the passengers, either by changing the route slightly which changes the tariff (so you pay 3x the price for the same route), or even makes it possible for drivers to select they've picked you up from a spot that's 3km from your pickup and drive away with no way for you (the phantom passenger) to cancel that. In short, pricing is sketchy, app full of bugs and support takes years to answer

    I am very disappointed I've been using this app almost everyday but unfortunately I won't be using it again. I uninstalled it, I lost an item last year, last month another driver stole my 2 cellphones I left a message on the app using my friend's phone but I did not get help. I phoned 1 of my network provider and asked them to give me the last number I phoned which was the driver's number. I phoned him and he said he never saw my phones. I tried to open a case the police couldn't help.

My ride will be higher priced yet we are leaving from the same location together and jumping off at the same location together and her app is cheaper. Though i use this app often howcome im being charged this way????     I gave a good review when l first started using them but watch out - you cannot contact Bold management at all and support can leave you stranded for 9 hours. The GPS changes your pick up or drop off addess often, also leaving you stranded if you don't see it and edit before confirming your order. Sometimes the drivers arrive, sometimes not. Communication with drivers through the app can prove almost impossible. Cheaper than Uber but you take a chance with Bolt. Currently not impressed.

    Whatever you do, don't ever use your card on this app. So they debit you N1k as insurance everytime you book a trip and take them 14 working days to refund. And this is minus trip fare. Imagine booking 5x in a week. That's 5k gone that will be reversed only God knows when. Don't use your card on this app. Plus the small small N100 here and there. Which they never refund.

    At first, I could easily place my order and a driver would accept immediately. Now it's a game of pure chance if you get a driver or not. Every time I get the prompt to confirm the order, the app pushes me back to the "Select destination" menu.     Every time I use Bolt in London, it ends with huge disappointments. I complained but the app isn't intuitive at all and the response to my complaint is nowhere to be found. Prices estimates that Bolt show are never true, they alway charge way more than the max estimate, and a few times they charged me double. What's the point? Just stick to Uber or good old black cabs, at least they know how to read Google maps!

    This app is AMAZING, it's much cheaper than Uber and you get free promos just for using the app. The drivers are always safe and their cars are always clean, majority of the drivers make you sanitize your hands before you enter the car and they always wear their masks. Very reliable app and you never wait long to get a driver. Would DEFINITELY recommend!! The only thing I would say could be improved is the in-app gps and the driver trackers, as those sometimes are off.

When I tried to book a trip it kept telling me my account was blocked. Contacted the customer support and after 1 hour I still don't have an answer.     The last 3 times I have used bolt they have taken payment twice, I spoke to an agent he said when the booking is made they take the fee to check you have the funds, then it is taken again when journey is completed, the first fee is returned to account 14 days later! Totally absurd! Also states driver is 1 min away, goes up to 2,3,4..8 this went on for 20 mins, then driver cancelled, next driver parked two streets away, i had to walk to him with heavy boxes. Back to uber for me.

    At first I really like this app, even with the new innovations. They introduce Bolt Go, but only put up 1 driver in an entire region. Where I'm sitting there are 7 Bolt drivers waiting but none will accept my trip request because it's Bolt go. Then there is the issue of volatile pricing. I've been sitting here an hour and the price just keeps up! This crazy! Surely of want to introduce a cost friendly ride, make it accesable, otherwise what's the point of putting it out in the first place!

    App said I had 50% off my first 5 rides & automatically applied promo to my first 2 rides. The 3rd time it told me I needed to select a bank card payment method for the promo to be valid, even though I already had this selected. Added another bank card & it still wouldn't work. Opened an app support convo that wasn't responded to for 3 days, by which time all mention of the discount promo had disappeared on the app. The "support" agent just sends generic info that doesnt address my issue.

This app is focus on good prices for all users . Trouble free, proper drivers proper cars and direct to the point. I think of the few apps I have tried in the past is the best with a difference of miles and miles and miles.     Terrible customer service!! Tried to book a cab and got a message that my account was blocked for some unknown reason. I asked why... They sent me a message saying I need to send them a photo of my face, a copy of my passport, and then wait 72 hours for a link to be sent to me. Seriously?? I'm back to using UBER again. Shame as App is ok. Great drivers. And not bad fares.

    My account was blocked when i was booking my second trip because i didn't verify my account (which i totally was not aware of this procedure as the app never ask me for it). It was really funny that i was allowed to book the first trip smoothly but was blocked for the second. And some drivers accepted the order but cancelled after they find out that my destination was in congestion charge zone, these hassles left me waiting for 30 minutes in cold weather waiting for them.

    Very convenient to use, except when drivers decline trips due to shortness of distance
