This app is a little different than uber. You can pay cash or with a card which is fantastic! After you select your ride, then you find out how far away they are. Sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 15 minutes so just be prepared. Our driver was fantastic, in Greece!

I downloaded this application about 30 minutes ago and I can't get past the registration portion where it's asking for a verification code. I can't get a code, call, or even chat with anyone. Useless app. Deleted! Uber is better.

You used to be able to select among driver profiles and select someone with good reviews. Now that you can't drivers do whatever they want. They signal that they are coming and then they don't show up. Completely useless.

I'm not even able create a profile.. im in Cancun and thought that I could use the app here but I'm not able to even get the app to recognize me. It says it sends a confirmation text so I can put in the numbers but it never does.

I have been using Beat for many years now, and as an app it has always been well-made, with no serious issues which I can recall in all these years of use. As far as the service is concerned, it has been very convenient until recently (June 2019) where it was updated so that you could no longer choose which driver you wished to hail. Less importantly, the new update also requires you to input a destination beforehand (though the driver still sees it only once the ride has started), which can be inconvenient if you don't know the exact address you're going to but just know the area. Removing our ability to choose drivers is a big drawback, since a passenger could choose drivers for his or her specific needs (language, pets, etc.) and also based upon the driver's rating and the vehicle model, and importantly also based upon how close they are to the passenger. This is also a drawback for drivers, many of whom have put much effort into earning good reviews and who now are as likely to get hailed as drivers who are less well-reviewed. If the most recent updates can be withdrawn, this app and service will still be worthy of five-stars.

Beat is a good app, with, cheap prices. I suggest an improvement in the communication with the driver, sometimes need a chat to give other instructions or additional help. The calls only using the app, is not the best way to get the communication with the driver, sometimes the internet is slow and will be better make the direct call to the real phone number.

Works pretty good. Couldn't attach it to my PayPal but it averted a card. Sometimes you can't find a ride if it's busy, which is not so ok. I had to search 4 times before it found a ride in Thessaloniki just now. Other times it just works. Ok. Whatever. UNBELIEVABLY RESOURCE INTENSIVE. Loses a star for making my phone heat up like crazy.

App itself is good. I tried this app in greece to avoid getting scammed, but you should always watch where you are going with your google map. One driver took me completely to a wrong place in the opposite direction. I got charged for that extra distance. @Addendum@. BEAT investigated the incident and gave me a refund of the extra amount I paid.

For few months the app worked out very well but the last two times I wait over 5 minutes to find a driver and when it finally showed "your beat is coming" the driver drove another way and never showed up or when the driver was coming it showed "your drive arrived" but its really far away and the time started counting. Then I had to cancel both times.
