The worst experience ever I have. This is first time I used the app to send money and the app send two transactions. I contacted the customer service and they just say that they can't do anything and this is my responsibility to check that's all. I explain what happened and it's 6 plus hours no one has responded.

TOO MUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION.. It's kinda scary when the app wants your ID and Selfie, ..they already have your information, including address, phone num, DOB, Bank info...etc etc.what if a security breach was to occur. They ask waaay too much of your information and identity. Wave and other apps don't need your selfie and ID to send money. I have a lawsuit waiting if my information is compromised ☹. The friends I shared with have the same concerns..

Sent money using this a couple of time and I'm satisfied so far. The main advantage is that their transfer rate is almost 50% less compared to the other competitors. The customer service is great. You can email or connect via WhatsApp. They are responsive and resolved my issues pretty quick. However, they need to improve their verification process. I found it pretty messy and I had to contact them to complete it. Rather than this, other functionalities are soomth and working well so far.

Note: Due to size limitation, in the Google Play review, I will cover the "Suggestion to TapTap Management" portion only from my original review that I posted in their official Facebook page. Last month, I used this app/service for the first time to send some money to my home country. While I had some queries during the process, I came in touch with Mr. Saad Cheema, who introduced himself as the coordinator of their North American business wing. I had an excellent experience while talking to him. He promptly answered my queries and made sure of giving me a pleasant first-time experience in using TapTap (even if my transaction timing was beyond his office hour of that day). I appreciate his service. From a remitter's point of view, I have some following suggestions: Speed: 5/5 | Exchange Rate: 5/5 | Processing Cost: 4.5/5 My Review (Item Wise): SPEED: 5/5 I FOUND THAT THE TRANSFER HIT MY HOME COUNTRY BANK ACCOUNT INSTANTLY! SUGGESTION FOR TAPTAP MANAGEMENT: You must ensure that at least a small team is always there to process the transaction. Your Blaze technology is fantastic, but if you don't maintain a risk team/AML team who would review the transaction promptly and release it with a green signal, the system will not process it, and the user won't taste the beauty/benefit of instant transfers. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE TEAM IS READY ROUND THE CLOCK TO PROCESS THE TRANSACTION. Or you can use an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, which would bypass the requirement of manual review (for regular clients) and process it automatically. Only then the Blaze technology that you use will be meaningful to the users. Thank you. EXCHANGE RATE: 5/5 I found the exchange rate higher than other service providers. NOTE: In my country, the Government adds a 2% incentive on top of the amount I send. I found that TapTap transferred not only the money that I sent and but also the incentive amount – ALL TOGETHER in one single amount. SUGGESTION FOR TAPTAP MANAGEMENT: As a remitter, during the time of sending our hard-earned money, WE ALWAYS CHECK/ENSURE WHO IS GIVING US THE BEST RATE. It is like, whoever is offering the best rate, I will send money with them. So, if you guys want to win over other competitors in this highly competitive market, you must not think of making a profit in this area. PROCESSING COST: 4.5/5 TapTap has made the per transaction limit as $1000. For which they charged $2. I used to give Remitly a $3.99 fee per transaction. However, in Remitly, I could make a transaction of $1,999 (based on my home country's rule) per transaction. So, by calculation, they are charging the same fees comparing to Remitly. And that is acceptable. SUGGESTION TO TAPTAP MANAGEMENT: Let's make it more flexible. For example: introduce a slab system instead of a fixed fee system. Now, how about you introduce this slab system: Up to $125 = Fee $0.25 From $126 to $250 = Fee $0.50 From $251 to $375 = Fee $0.75 From $376 to $500 = Fee $1.0 And So on [for every incremental $125 amount, there will be an incremental fee of $0.25] I can assume that there might be some kind of fees/charges that you are currently paying on behalf of the client, just to grab the market share. So, in the near future, if you would need to start charging the clients, then consider distributing that cost on a slab basis also. Use the Analysis tools, Scenario Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis etc. to decide on how to distribute the load of the cost amongst the clients. [REMEMBER: I assumed that you will not make ANY PROFIT in the Exchange Rate area to ensure the best rate to the clients]. In any case, the load should be distributed in such a way that the higher amount sender would take a higher portion of the load, and the lesser amount sender would take a lesser part. I wish GOOD LUCK to Taptap send. I hope to continue using Taptap for my next remittance if they would cover the above topic that I discussed. Thank you.
