I would give negative stars if I could. I've tried twice to sign up, I go through the process, verify my email and then it keeps saying invalid account or login. TEO DIFFERENT EMAILS. and no link for assistance. Way to help someone who actually needs it.

I'm disappointed with this service, this not making mental health services affordable. God forbid I'm suicidal. Additionally, the matching agents just dissappear if the plans they offer aren't the best option and they didn't answer my questions about using my insurance.

I thought I would give this app a try since it's so difficult to find a therapist locally that is taking new patients. Spent all of that time filling out information. I spent a lot of time reading up on my options for a therapist and chose one that I thought was the best fit. Was told I'd have a response by 4 p.m. the next day. No response. Waited until today ... It is now 7:00 p.m. Still no response. What a waste of my time. Uninstalling.

Listen to the reviews. This is basically a glorified, insanely expensive, texting app. The most expensive option only gives you four video sessions a month and that's $400/month. Your therapist/counselor will not get back to you in a timely manner through texting, mine ignored me for a full 30 hours when I reached out saying I needed to talk. Her response completely ignored that I reached out for help and basically just told me how it all works. Not worth it at all.

Update: needed total uninstall and reinstall to fix. Original: Latest release opens then becomes immediately unresponsive on Samsung s9+. Will update review when this is fixed. I can't use the app at all after uninstalling and reinstalling. My only other complaint is that I wish you could hide therapists you no longer see from your personal view bc it's cluttered, but otherwise a very helpful and easy app.

What I needed was flexible and casual guidance on some issues. My therapist has been fantastic and responsive. I'm not really into video chats, so the text part works for me, she usually answers in the morning and again in the afternoon. Currently about to change from prepaid, covered sessions to a different coverage on the same therapist. Customer service has been responsive and promising. 5 stars unless something goes very wrong with this setup. To be updated.

Least intuitive app I've ever used, I had a free trial through my company and got a 10 minute complimentary session. If I wasn't such a fan of that first call and my hr didn't give us that free trial I'd never use the app. I'm looking to upgrade my plan, and there is no option to do so under "manage subscription". I'm actively trying to give them money and can't find out how to do so as their app is so terribly designed. I feel infinitely more anxious now than I did before. In short, STAY AWAY

I didn't have high hopes coming into it, and yet I was still majorly disappointed. This app is DISCOURAGING. There's a major lack of therapists on the platform for all the people signing up for their services. Matching agents don't pay attention to requests and providers scarcely respond, and most responses are generic and not helpful in any way. You'd be better off not receiving any care at all. Oh, and in the process of trying to receive a refund, I've been locked out of my account.

This app can make finding and meeting virtually with a therapist easy, everything else about this app is hot garbage. features are always coming soon, time of upcoming appointments are hidden, the interface is bad and if you're working with insurance it's difficult to find out what you're actually being charged.

  10. Trinadi Shires-avatar

I like my therapist so far. I am however pretty dissatisfied with the company due to poor communication regarding features. I received an email announcing self-led exercises were available but this is only true for iOS users. It took several days and numerous emails with customer service to uncover this fact. I understand that apps sometimes favor one OS over the other but at least be up front about it.
