Initially, it was in operation as a forex bureau (Global Forex Bureau) licensed in the year 2005 before it changed to become a Money Remittance provider an inclusion to satisfy a need that was not fully satisfied. Since then, TMT has grown and expanded its operations in four more locations in Nairobi (South C and Corner house Branches) and Mombasa though still expanding.
