The latest release of the OTP SZÉP Card mobile app will help you keep easy track of your current balance and transactions, transfer advance, or check your unused balance of your benefits from two years ago; and the map search will help you find points of acceptance. The application is available exclusively to the holders of an OTP SZÉP Card. Already registered on our website? You do not need to repeat your registration within the app if you already have an OTP SZÉP Portal (www.otpportalok.hu) account; once the authentication process is ready, you can log into the app with the same email address and password that you use for the Portal. For identification purposes, you will need your card number and birth date to start with. If your mobile phone is capable of fingerprint or facial recognition, you may also opt to use these functions for your subsequent logins. If you have not registered yet you will need: • the 16-digit number of your OTP SZÉP Card; • your date of birth; and • an active e-mail address. After the submission of your card number and date of birth, please follow the subsequent steps offered by the application. During the registration process, you will need to submit your e-mail address and a password; then accept the Privacy Notice; and enter the confirmation code sent to your e-mail address. If your mobile phone is capable of fingerprint or facial recognition, you may also opt to use these functions for your subsequent logins. Once you completed your registration, you may use the submitted e-mail address and password to log into the Portal as well. The new version of the app requires re-authentication every time when I wanted to check the balance of the card. The old app worked perfectly. Now I have to put extra effort to input the password manually. And since I'm using strong pwd, it takes too long to use the app. I can imagine two ways: 1- app should store pwd and user could check the balance easily. 2- app should have the same check like the old one, without password.

It is impossible to paste the password into the input text, I had to type my very complicated generated password, it is very frustrating. The app is much better than the old one (same name with orange icon), but it is very confusing to have to apps for the same thing. Old one shall be discontinued

Has a couple of issues: - After update it requires re-authentication - biometric login got disabled with one of the previous updates, need to manually re-enable - can not easily paste password into text input ( paste does not work, popup does not show. Might be because a lame custom component is used?) - login button does not work when keyboard is showing - slow Clumsy experience overall, frustrates the hell out of me... 😕 Edit: pasting pw is not a security risk, nobody memorizes generated pws

I must agree with Gergely Sallai's review. Let me add a few words: quite a few people are using password managers (e.g: lastpass, bitwarden) which utilizes randomly generated passwords. I understand the security risks in your reply, but please mind that not everyone has phone with biometric scanner and also, there are people who doesn't want to use such. Can you please give this functionality back? Apart from this the app is pretty neat, keep up the good work.

Since the latest version is installed, starting the application displays only a frozen welcome screen. Edited: a notification about downtime would be more talkative to tell users that something went wrong in the backround.

App login screen does not remember my login credentials and does not allow my gmail account to save username/pasword to the app. Every time I want to login I need to type in my password. It is not user friendly.
