If you're a teacher, don't waste your time. They will ask you to present your documents and stuff and once you're done they will keep your request pending (forever it seems) and after a while the application stops showing anything no matter how many times you try to open it.

I applied for Ostaz and I followed all the steps required to become a tutor. I added a video and had an interview. I did not receive any email or reply weeks after the interview. I tried to follow up but they did not reply. The app crashed after latest update. I only see a white blank page when I login. I cannot see my profile. I suggest that they should work a lot on app performance and provide suppprt to tutors who are bringing their skills and enriched background to work on the platform.

Extremely buggy is a compliment... It is unfortunate that this application is unusable, the team seems to be working hard on many issues except fixing the app. The least you could is offer a website alternative so that users could have other options to utilize your tools. Having only an usable is app not acceptable nor good for you business.

Installed the app as recommended by a friend. Filled up all required documents anf information, only for the app to tell me that it can't verify the profile. (Yes I did include everything). What a waste of time. Reply to the sad attempt at saving face below: The application did not even go through, your lousy application was unable to perform a verification step and not a selection process. Don't try to hide the fact that your app is non-functional and play it off as people not being qualified.

Gonna give credits for the idea of the app. I remember it was introduced to us in school,and we were told that we can apply as tutors after gr11.Ironically,you just won't have enough experience by then to get qualified as a tutor in this app.It would have been much more appreciated if they set standards clear and truthful.Other than that,the concept is helpful and it's clear that the team is working hard.Yet this app needs more modifications to reach higher levels and to grow as planned.

Very disappointing. Doubtful accepting process as this app takes personal information such as credit card information then if rejected they say that your information will be saved in their system and it doesn't give you clear characteristics to be accepted as a tutor. Personally I don't know who's a better tutor than engineers and medical doctors.

I could try the app as I have been asked for verification code from an SMS that wasn't received although I repeated the registration process several times and contacted their support even. Too bad.
