I had this app a long time ago and I loved it. I learned most of my Swedish from this simple convenient app. I made it to around the 75% progress mark in all categories before I needed to get a new phone and I lost all my progress. I immediately re-downloaded the app and began gaining my progress back. I realised my progress would not go over 36%. When I looked at the categories, I realised most of them were grey. Now you have to pay to learn! I really hope they change this back! Big letdown!

Sorry guys, I love your app. I would love to give it five stars. But I do mind an ongoing subscription. I can't think of anything else I've encountered that's been as expensive in 5 years of Android use. The ongoing subscription means you can't leave the app on your phone because you get charged even when you're not using it. A one off fee of £4.99 would be appropriate. The ongoing subscription KILLS IT and forces the user to delete the app and not use it as a long term reference

From what I'm reading this used to be free. I came here to complain about the ridiculous costs involved to unlock and utilise the full app. Guess I got here a bit late.. So, useless useless app. Greedy developers want £5 a month, not even a one off cost, to unlock the full app. You can still get a good beginners understanding of the language but not a lot. Not worth downloading really, do what I'm doing and look for something else.

No chance. App used to be a perfectly useful and effective way to learn when it was completely free, but it is simply not worth paying for when there are many other completely free methods which are equally useful and effective. The developer just got extremely greedy here. It's not even vaguely cheap enough to consider.

After the last update I would have given this even 0 stars if there was an option. It was a great and useful app, but why make it chargeable? Wasn't there a way to make it with ads? I mean, we all have Duolingo which is an AMAZING app, and guess what - it is completely free.

Initially loved it. Would have given it five stars. Now, unbeknownst to me, of a sudden you want to nick me $ 8 or $ 9 a month to finish the rest of the app, and likely for each of the other twenty-odd languages? Fabulo-Rip-off, BYE!

I used to love this app, but after returning to it after a short hiatus to find that most of the content had been locked down unless you pay an exuberant monthly fee, I can no longer say the same. You've effectively convinced me to uninstall your program and go elsewhere. Good job.
