Sun Position shows you sunrise and sunset times, as well as the solar and lunar path on an augmented reality camera view for any day of the year at your current location. Its handy data screen also gives you other useful information including moon rise/set times, golden hour and twilight times, and moon phase information. The app has a map view which plots the daily sun and moon path relative to your current location. It also contains a widget for your home screen showing sunrise/set times for the current day and your current location. This app is a demo of the full version of Sun Position, which is restricted to showing you sun position data only for the current day. Fantastic app! I live in my RV full time and I move around a lot. I use this app every time I get to a new location to find the sunniest spot (or shadiest). The free version is fine for me, but if you want to check the sun position on any day of the year, you need to get the paid version. I would do this if I was considering buying a house, for example.

Absolutely love it. Easy to use. Straightforward enough if you don't need all the small details and all the small details are right there if you do. Sunpath is surprisingly well on point. This, i imagine, depends alot on your phone but with my xiaomi, 9/10 times i can block the real sun with the in app projection. It's that accurate.

Buggy; worked well for a while, but now I get both sun and moon (after turning sun off) while looking for the moon. We're looking to spend significant money on a solar system, so I don't yet trust this app.

Good demo. Better than most. I would be willing to pay $4. for this app, but not almost $8. One other thing there are several items missing from the widget. You can find them if the app is opened. Like the time for sunset for example.

I may not apply all the information this app provides but the "Nerd" in me loves it. Im a landscape designer so 'Sun Tracker' allows me to show customers why a plant can thrive or not survive in the place they wanted. The customer is always right... Unless you can throw science in their face.

Sun Position allows me to stand at a spot at my home or farm, then see at what hours the sun will be blocked by trees or buildings. Very helpful if you are growing plants.

Simplest ad free app of its kind with customisable widget. Probably the best app for checking Islamic prayer times on other apps. Only thing lacking is a dark mode.
