Keeping it simple is the way to go, and that's what this app does. Helps you stay on track and make steady progress. I've lifted kinda haphazardly and without purpose for a few years but never got to where I want to be in strength. I'm not exactly where I want to be yet, but I'm getting there slowly with this app. The app also provides plenty of instructional information. My only regret is that I didn't find and use this sooner.

I'm a 64 year old man who has Stage 4 cancer that is in remission (Thank you Jesus). Diagnosed in Feb 2018 I spent a year on my back, 6 of those months doing chemo. I started Stronglifts 5x5 on Feb. 25 this year, one year after I was told I was in serious danger. Today I squated 250, benched 180 and row with 135. I'm whiped for the day but I'm happy. Stronglifts is a concise program to follow that did all my thinking and calculating for me. All I did was get under the bar.

This is a great app! I have made great personal gains following this. If you're new to squats, I found that warming up with a few chinups, lunges and zigzag drills prior to workout really helps my back and strengthens the sides of my knees. Use good form. Always do stretches to cool down. This routine will set you back if you don't. It keeps track of past and future workouts. You can see your improvement. Moving heavy weights there is no faking it. I do this workout 3 months before going on holiday and it reaps fantastic results everytime. I'm not an avid bodybuilder just a 38 year old whom likes to look good on the beach. strongly suggest pro for the plate calculator and the warm up sets, it also has full video descriptions of each exercise. It really is exactly what I need for what I want and can't recommend it enough for part timers like me or people who want to get stronger.

The program is good, however the app has started nagging incessantly. When the developer went to a subscription model, they sent out way too many emails. Now that my subscription is expiring, they're continuing to spam me. The app is good, but the developer tries to push the paid version way too much.

fantastic.. never thought that I would be able to lift heavy. The app not only allowed mr to increase gradually but it suggests that you decrease weight when you have exercised in a while. It really takes good care of you. also if you feel like you cannot do the weight that is suggested, you can always edit and adjust the weight. I went from being afraid of heavy weights to warming up heavy weights. Really happy with the app

I'm a 32 year old woman, and when you don't know what you're doing in the gym, it's a more intimidating place. Love this app, love how simple it is, love seeing my progress. Perfect app. Currently getting competitive with my bf, we go to the gym and do it together.

I absolutely love how structured this strength training program is. It makes gains and progressing very manageable and predictable and the app does all the thinking for you whether you get all your reps, miss some or start to plateau on a certain exercise and has the solution to all of those situations. I also highly recommend reading the StrongLifts 5x5 guide on their website, it's incredibly helpful, but the app has all that information programmed in so if you miss any details you're covered.

The stronglifts app has been excellent for me, I've been lifting for a year before using it but went back to the bar with this app and have progressed really well in 12 weeks. My favourite part is the warm up sets which I never paid too much attention to before. You really can't go wrong with this app and the sites advice.

into my 4th week. I used to powerlift, but stopped strength workouts for quite a while. I wanted to get back into it and found the SL5x5 plan. This is a great way for a beginner or a returning lifter like me to get started. It's safe, it works, and the app mkes it easy to stay on track. I highly recommend this app.

mehdis 5*5 system is already a straight forward system to progress in strength and muscle mass, this app just makes it even easier. the interfsce is simple and well designed and gives good feedback for progress, next sessions, etc. plus theres kjnd of daily coaching/thoughts/faqand advice from the mailout which i find really helpful interesting and motivating to stay on track . im only 3 weeks into it but i love the training (my form is so much better) and the app

Excellent format. Very easy to track progress Workouts pack a punch and gains come quickly, I'm 61 and it made my body muscularity pop! Everyone has noticed. I'm in the construction industry and it made my job easier.

Does exactly what I want it to do. Track a simple 5x5 routine. As a plus it keeps track of my resting, so I don't waste time.

Full of problems and promises of fixes and more features, money is all devs care about not the app nor their users, shame.

what's not to like. really functional app, simple to use, can pay for new function, but no ads bugging you if you don't. I like it a lot.

It's really been a greay way for me to get back in the gym after years of being a lardass. It's so easy and simple to follow, and takes the stress and anxiety out of getting back to working out regularly for me.

I use to like the app much better when you didnt have to subscribe to get the warmup sets. Now you only get basic for free.
