It's billed as a 'free' app with 'in-app' purchases. The free version is basically useless and, before you even start a workout, you'll be purchasing the 'subscription' version. The paid version is good for the most part. However it is absolutely not worth the offensive monthly subscription. If you're a mug, go ahead and buy this app. There are free (or onetime purchase) apps available that are just as good though.

  2. Thomas Wintringham-avatar

    Thomas Wintringham

Overall, I would say that I enjoy the app and recommend it. There a few things I can immediately think of that would make the app better; all small adjustments. - Add weight widget to the dashboard. I understand why it is left in measurements but I think it's an easy add to dashboard. - Allow more fine tuned control over mid session changes to a template; you only get update values only, update all, or keep original routine. - Folders for exercise routines. As it is, it's messy and cluttered.

  3. Casey Helmer-avatar

I love this app. Straightforward, easy to use. I built five different workout plans, because two days are for heavy lifts, two days are for high rep/low rest lifts, and a leg & core day. I have about 12 exercises in each plan, and I check off each exercise I perform from that list. You can check off each set you do, and change the weight or reps on-the-fly. Awesome!

  4. Matthew Wang-avatar

Contains a plethora of useful features with a clean user interface. Slight learning curve for those who are new to using fitness apps or training, but absolutely invaluable to those who are diligent in tracking their progress. I've used the free version for over half a year and currently on the Pro trial now.

  5. Levi Edwards-avatar

A fantastic app, been using it for the last 5 years and it is the only App I have ever paid money for. It is well worth getting the premium version. Simple and user friendly, with a great catalogue of exercises and the ability to create your own! Would love to have a run tracker included one day, but it is brilliant regardless!

  6. Brian Baker-avatar

I tried many apps, but this is the one that made me stop looking. Great app to begin with, and I've been pleasantly surprised with the updates. One example: I like that you can choose to update your routine to reflect any changes you made after completing one in real time.

  7. Wertyoumatt-avatar

Simply amazing it has allowed me to go above and beyond in my training the animations and guides are very useful and the ability to see the immediately while exercising is a big plus I have bought the full version which honestly locks so few things which honestly with the history tab makes them allitle useless but because it has been such an amazing experience the people who made this app disserve revenue for this work

  8. Halim Sukur-avatar

Been using this one for a year, didn't even nag me for a rating. Tried many many other 'free' training apps. This one is the real deal. No invasive ads, no bs. Enter and track each workout, history, graphs, personal records (1 rep max and total volume). Very simple and effective.

  9. Amir Habibzadeh-avatar

    Amir Habibzadeh

Only had it about 3 days now but it is exactly what I wanted with no extra BS, easy to record sets, I organize my workout the night before, then at the gym I just input the weight and number of reps. At the end of the workout, it calculates the total weight moved (I never paid attention to that number before but now it's a new goal and motivation) & PR's. The system has a great library of workouts as well as sample workouts like leg day, back day, arms day or you can build your own. Good stuff!

  10. Tim Franson-avatar

App is ok, but most people would probably need the features of the premium version. Unfortunately the price to upgrade is ridiculous. You can find equivalent and arguably better apps that are free or cheaper. Or hell, just get a notebook

  11. Matt Fields-avatar

Great app. Simple and no extra unnecessary features. Devs: could make the flow for creating a new exercise more intuitive when searching for an exercise and no results are found. ("Create new exercise?" suggestion should appear.) Also: Kindly request you please add kettlebell as a category! It's not a "machine/other"!

  12. Joe Elkins-avatar

Great app. Does exactly what I need. Great feature - load different workouts based on where you are such as home, gym, or at work. Keeps up with weight lifted, type of exercises, and the calender shows how many days you lift. Not sure I would add anything to this app. No glitches so far.

  13. Chanad Ladavalya-avatar

    Chanad Ladavalya

This is the best and cleanest app for gym record keeping out there. Tried many others but this is the one that stood out from the rest. App is light, runs fast and serves its purpose perfectly.

  14. Samuel Bailey-avatar

Excellent app for logging workouts. Very flexible in the way it allows you to make workouts. Allows you to add warm up set, super sets, drop sets and easily see how you did last time on an exercise for comparison. Easy to use but also has great depth in the amount of things it can log and show you

  15. Christopher DeLongchamp-avatar

    Christopher DeLongchamp

I will start by saying this is a wonderful app, and it seems to do most of the job I ask it too. But I have a few issues with it. One, if I have a sick day and I move less weight that week, it can really mess with my tracking because it's not easy to see what the record-before-the-last-record is. Two, if you ever want just three routines, it works well. If you end up in the middle of a pandemic and you want to start tracking home exercises be prepared to fork out a bunch of money for premium.

  16. Melissa Erickson-avatar

    Melissa Erickson

I really love this app for tracking my workouts. I've been using it for about 1 year and it's definitely my favorite. My only problem with it is the Archive function. No matter how many times I try to unarchive/archive some workouts it will just switch them around.

  17. Hassan Berrada-avatar

Guys this is an incredibly useful app, I was looking for this for a long time. Thank you very much. Maybe adding a notes function, after exercise sessions would be a good idea

  18. Brandon Olinger-avatar

    Brandon Olinger

Very useful app, especially for being free. I enjoy it since I'm able to superset workouts. A simple feature but one that most work out apps seem to be missing.

  19. Amrit Mehta-avatar

Excellent so far. Very user friendly interface. Minor complaints like wanting autofill for pre-programmed sets, instead I have to delete a set and add a new one to do it quick.

  20. Alexandre Legendre-avatar

    Alexandre Legendre

Really good even with the free version, I'm using it for calisthenics I've add my own exercises. Paying allowed you to have more workout saved but 3 with the free mode which is enough forost of the peaple.

  21. Riley Anderson-avatar

Unpaid is cool. If your serious about tracking your lifts and customizing your own stuff, paid is totally worth it. Been using this for probably close to a year now.

  22. Woeijin Quah-avatar

Nice and easy to use, I like how it calculates warmup sets automatically. Maybe one suggestion would be allowing customized rest times for each movement in different workouts.

  23. Marcus-avatar

Best app to track your Workouts EVER. I have literally tried them all on the Play store and none come close. The UI is stunning and the customer service has been very good. Definitely worth paying for.

  24. Luke Arthurs-avatar

Really easy to use app, with great overview of your exercises and workout history. Has pretty much all the exercises defined with image explanation and everything.

  25. DimeSizeDragons-avatar

Exactly what I've been looking for! Easy to use, has most exercises already available but more can be added.

  26. Myron Perez-avatar

Simple and clear, if you have issues being distracted in the gym this app helps you set up your personal goals to keep you on point.

  27. Jim Soiland-avatar

Well designed app. The latest iteration of the UI is really good. Having something like a station timer built into it would be a great enhancement

  28. Bradley H-avatar

Great app for a customized gym experience. The stat tracker is insanely helpful and the ability to save workouts allows me to experiment muscle pairings that work best for me. Very thankful!

  29. Matheus Braun Magrin-avatar

    Matheus Braun Magrin

It's very straight forward to use. It's been really helpful to track my workouts and ensure I'm applying progressive overload.

  30. RG S-avatar

I switched from Jefit to STRONG and am SO happy that I did! It costs less, has a cleaner interface, more features, & minus all of the incessant, unfixed glitches and crashes of Jefit 👍

  31. Caitlin McClurkin-avatar

    Caitlin McClurkin

I've had this since the app first came out. I love it, however I'm noticing that it is beginning to lag when I'm searching for exercises

  32. Corbin Oliver-avatar

Great app. But I'd love to see supersets be able to auto check sets with other exercises at are part of the superset.

  33. Seth Coen-avatar

Great app! clearly made by people that workout themselves. Also in the base version no ads! I respect that.

  34. Justin Sanders-avatar

Enjoy the ease of tracking my workouts. Needs fuller library of workouts, but maybe that's where the purchase would come in.

  35. Joshua Challacombe-avatar

    Joshua Challacombe

Really helps me keep track and stay on point with my lifts and when to up my weight. Motivates me to keep digging for those extra reps.

  36. Chris Harlin-avatar

Loving it so far during the free trial period. I'll update the review to see if it's worth what they charge when the free trial wears off

  37. Eric R.-avatar

I haven't tried many workout trackers but I fell in love with this app and have already subscribed for yearly membership.

  38. Karney Li-avatar

Great app, remembers previous workouts, calculates 1RM, keeps track of previous performances. Everything about the app is excellently executed.

  39. John Parker-avatar

Awesome app that easily lets me record my workouts and weight. Even though I'm using the free version, it has great functionality and even shows how to do exercises!

  40. Ian F-avatar

Been using for a few months now, very good for recording workouts.

  41. G Roberts-avatar

Has just the right amount of detail you need without all the fluff. Would highly recommend!

  42. Thomas Gaffney-avatar

Works well and I know how many sets, reps and weights I've progressively overloaded.

  43. Riley Elliott-avatar

Great organization in your workouts and shows you previous ones too. Also tells you how much weight you lifted total to make you feel really swole!

  44. Stacy Eastway-avatar

Always works. Clear-cut layout. Been a great help to be consistent with my lifting! 💪

  45. Tracy Patterson-avatar

    Tracy Patterson

So far so good. So many cool features. Think my pen and pad may be redundant moving forward 👍👍

  46. Ju Povis-avatar

Very useful for tracking your progress even without full version!!

  47. MONIL PRAJAPATI-avatar

Overall great! Multiple sets are not taken in total PRs hence PRs are not updated n only first set is considered.

  48. Aaron-avatar

The app decided to stop working the moment I decided to pay the $29.99 for the annual membership. Utter garbage.

  49. Jesse-avatar

Probably the best workout tracker app out there. You can input your own workout plan, sets and RPE!

  50. Nazar Teslenko-avatar

Favorite workout logger, haven't found a better alternative yet. Many useful features!

  51. Adam Bourke-avatar

Awesome app to keep record of workouts and pb's

  80. JB-avatar

Very simple app for tracking, perfect for me

  81. Yanis Boudinar-avatar

Simple and efficient to plan powerlifting trainings.

  82. Nicola Sanna-avatar

This app is really good, from the design to the data analysis. However, as a professional, I find it hard to track volume on specific muscle districts (e.g. quads, hams, calves and glutes rather than just "legs"). I really wish there was an option to add new "body parts" when creating an exercise. It would really make a difference and I hope you will consider implementing this feature.

  83. lorenz villero-avatar

Clean, simple and does what it it's intended to do

  84. Nicky Burgess-avatar

Awesome and easy to add custom workouts

  85. Carlo Valenzuela-avatar

    Carlo Valenzuela

Absolutely brilliant app! Thanks for this.

  86. Chris Atik-avatar

Love the app I've bought all the add ons for it on iOS and have kept using it even on my move to andriod for almost 4 years now (over 700 logged workouts). If I had to make one suggestion, I'd like the app to have a search bar in the workout tab so I can quickly search through the workouts I've put together over the years. I've got around 40 or so different workouts saved and a bunch of non default exercises and the app is starting to chug quite a bit.

  87. Максим Давыдов-avatar

    Максим Давыдов

Clear and useful app, thank you!

  88. Christian Jorge Ureña-avatar

    Christian Jorge Ureña

Great Way To Keep Track Of My Workout Stats

  89. Ikenna Okoroafor-avatar

    Ikenna Okoroafor

This is actually a great app. I went to a lot more other expensive options but I found them cumbersome. The only thing I would recommend would be more work out groupings especially without weights or if you are working from home. Possible recipe suggestions it would be perfect. But I can't recommend it enough.

  90. Mark Scelza-avatar

Only been using it for a few days but I love it..easy to use

  91. Derek Zuniga-avatar

It's a great app and I've logged over 365 workouts with it. But this latest update will not let me open it at all. Very frustrating because I dont wont to lose my templates. But I.T. was able to fix it quickly and was very friendly.

  92. mateusz bak-avatar

Excellent app for working out and keeping track of your workouts! Anyone wishing to keep track of your workouts and stats should have this app! I used to use a notebook, but with this app don't need it anymore! Could not recommended enough!

  93. Oliver-avatar

Fine for casual training. This app doesn't let me add custom lifts.

  94. Anthony Robertson Go Yao-avatar

    Anthony Robertson Go Yao

Really great up. I will still explore this. as of now 4 star. i will rate this again.

  95. M-avatar

Simple, has pics and vids to show lots of exercises.

  96. Yethzéll Viana Díaz-avatar

    Yethzéll Viana Díaz

I've used this to track over 200 workouts at this point, and I really like it. It's straightforward, not many frills, but it is solid and thoughtful. It's easy to use. In addition to tracking a workout by entering the weight and reps, you can add custom timers, designate which sets are warmups/fails, create supersets, save templates, takes notes, and track progress. If what you want is a solid, easy-to-use, workout app, this is it.

  97. Brett Crane-avatar

This app is seriously perfect. No bloated features and great user experience. I love how they have thought of create custom exercises, replace exercise, show history, etc. all these little simple to use things make it easy to make adjustments mid-workout. I'm doing a push, pull, legs rotation and this is great for mixing in a few different custom template workouts for any of these days. I wanted a bunch of templates so I upgraded to paid, I think free only came with 3 custom templates or so.

  98. Samantha Mahoney-avatar

    Samantha Mahoney

So easy to use and great workouts. I love how you're able to choose a focus (ie arms/core/back etc). And it offers a list of exercises that target those particular areas.

  99. Richard O'Donnell-avatar

    Richard O'Donnell

    Really good, quite intuitive.

  100. James V-avatar

Hands down the best lifting app! Worth every penny!
