I subscribed to Google's Play Pass to avoid being bombarded by ads or presented with prompts to buy this or that in order to play the game. A mere few minutes in I was asked if I wanted to buy something to continue playing the way I expected, with my $5 monthly fee to Google, to play. I view this as more than an inconvenience. I view it as a lack of integrity. It's lying. Flat out! I am so tired of being fleeced by greedy, money lusting companies I can't even begin to convey. I quit! ~db~

This game plays amazingly well, and the controls are far simpler than an arcade controls. Although the controls are simpler and the game plays more intuitively on a smartphone, there will always be something about using a joystick and buttons that can't be replaced. But, not a complaint at all, just a tactile sensation comparison. Overall, an excellent and very stable port of a classic arcade game!!! Keep up the great work. Would definitely recommend this to friends in the future!!!

The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is the fact that your finger covers up just enough of the screen that you end up running into enemy projectiles and dying. Otherwise it plays out just like the arcade versions. Also, unless you have their diamonds to keep going, there doesn't seem to be a save feature for what level you might be on. I got to level 4 before running out, and can't afford to buy any atm, so ended up back at level 1.

The game actually lives up to psikyo's expectations for it being a mobile port, and has the same exact quality+soundtrack as the original game, but it is pretty brutal(to me at least) Doesn't feel that much PtW... unless you need another cc, but it's not that annoying. The only thing annoying are the ads, like, 2 before the initial game and 1 right after you game over. I would maybe get rid of the ad right after you select your aircraft and the ad after the game. Good job at making a mobile port

A 4.4 rating is just wrong! Please change to 4.8. The control and gameplay rating listed is a injustice, 4.5. I just played this game. And the ratings listed is just all kinds of wrong. This is a really good game, and fast paced. It plays better than all 1945 and 2 shooters in my opinion out there. The difference, is smooth gameplay.

Finally a version of this game on Google Play that's faithful to the arcade original. The in-game currency is minimal and not annoying. My only complaint would be asking if you're left or right handed the first time you play for the button placement, but you can change it yourself.

Tomorrow 2020 starts and people are still churning out these retro arcade clones, why? I have nothing against scrolling shooters but why not create something beautiful with stunning graphics instead of repeatedly revisiting the 1980s? Played for a bit, utterly bored. Like they cut and pasted newish models into an old tired game engine.

I wasn't expecting the graphics to be such an enjoyed playing this game..an I definitely would recommend this game to anyone who loves these types of fun games to play in their leisure. I was blown away.

Love the game. I only ask that we can have an option, if others wouldn't agree to a complete change, to place our finger/thumb below the plane. I can't see the shots fired at me to get around them when they're are so many. Please fix that. Thank you for the nostalgia.
