This app is amazing, once you put limits in place it's very hard to remove without the passcode. However the app doesn't get in the way of using the phone otherwise, and isn't too battery hungry. The premium is a one-time payment for lifetime access, which I really appreciate with so many apps requiring subscriptions. I bought it right away when I saw how well the app works. (Edit: I had some issues where the app would crash when using the hourly limits, so I reduced the rating to 4 stars.)

Great app. As I'm writing this on my bed I'm not going to say much except that it is a great app and the ads are OK but could you pls mute the ads? My family says it's too loud and I sometimes forget to turn off volume(edit below) The app is great but I'd like to set the block screen for the Take a Break too because every time I use take a break it looks plain. The ads are acceptable, no trouble closing and thanks for the ads with no volume! 🙏

My goal in downloading this was to set up a block so that I could only use my phone for 5 minutes each hour. It worked perfectly the first day. On the second day, the countdown timer would appear but the app wouldn't actually kick me off any blocked apps after 5 minutes had elapsed. On the third day, the timer disappeared completely and it was as though I'd never installed the app at all, despite the icon on my home screen. I tried following all the instructions in the app to troubleshoot, but none of them were applicable to my Pixel running Android 11. The app also began telling me that I had "not granted Stay Focused accessibility permissions," which was strange considering the accessibility permissions definitely showed as granted. I sent an email to the email address listed in the "Contact Us" section of the menu, but it's been a week and I still haven't heard anything back. I needed this app to do exactly one thing and it clearly can't, so I'm about to uninstall it and look for an alternative. If you're looking for an hourly limit on your phone time, I recommend you go elsewhere!

Has been amazing at helping me curb my browsing behaviors. Especially sites like Reddit and news sites during the day. Love the quick block where I can just say give me 5 hours and also appreciate the tracking that tells me how often I'm attempting to access it. I literally saw that number drop over the weeks and my compulsions decrease. Can't appreciate this app enough. Only four stars because sometimes it does have ads that auto turn on sound and that's not cool. Ads are fine but not sound

I used to love this app but the bugs are really making it unusable now. If you're using strict mode to block apps on your phone, it's really not acceptable for the app to change a block you're attempting to implement at 8am to 8pm. I've manually confirmed multiple times that the correct date is selected but this still happens. I almost ran into some serious issues with a client today as a result. Won't be risking not having access to my phone because of bugs. Back on the market for another app.

This application has helped me by forcing me OFF most distracting applications. I decided to put it on strict mode past 9 PM, and last night, I actually slept at a reasonable time! I white listed communication apps (for emergencies) and it's been incredibly effective at keeping me off everything else, helping me set boundaries with myself and the internet, and use my time more effectively. I also limited some others to 30 mins a day only, like Amazon - so I'm not browsing all day. Works!

So far I really have a love hate with this app... it really works but made me realize how much I am addicted to social media. Hahahaha it really is helping me to stay motivated. Would be funny to have different quotes especially when you get up into the 30 times in a 4 hour time period. Something like, "Seriously? You have a problem, seek help" 😆

I would have happily rated it a 10/10 however the problem is apps still open and that's not fair. I'm using a free version for now but a little annoyed. I tried setting up my dashboard but that's not working too. I want to reset my blocking period but I can't do that too. I don't get it. It keeps asking for permissions but isn't doing the task it's supposed to.

Tldr: best app of this type, essental for adhd brains. While it has its problems this is the best app for this use, After trying all the apps around, even on fdroid, this app is still the best app for limiting you exposure to intentionally addictive apps. Unfortunaly android causes problems by stopping arts in the background, this is not the develops fault, and causes the app to malfunction and even stop working eventually, but the quick fix is relatively easy, and the app walks you through.
