The image of sky on app is so different from the real sky i am seeing. I'm not talking about details, even moon is so far away from where it is actually. I tried to change my location with any other city or country but it wasn't sencronised with sky either way. -I live in Turkey btw- I used to love this app, i don't know what happened but I can't use it in this circumstances. :( If there's a problem, please fix it!

  2. Timothy Brock-avatar

apk Love it. It has alot of the details and lets me know win the gate and windows open. Great app all around. I use it everyday. I have recomended it to all of my friends. I wish it would let you set an alarm for specific times. If it could notify us when exactly when a certain constellation lines up at a specific degree of altitude and azimuth that would also be awesome. Wish it had alarms.

  3. Rachel R-avatar

5-20 They change the music back on mine and it's easier to maneuver, Might have been my phone, but I absolutely love it! 1-20 loved the soundscape type music you had. It changed ??? Can we have it back? My suggestion is more instructions on how to get back to the screen where you're seeing the sky, live, stars, consultations ... I can't get back to the page! Thanks ✨💫🙏🏼❤️ love looking at our universe!

  4. Rod McGlynchey-avatar

I don't know what to say. I have Star Walk and star Walker 2 on my phone it seems like for some things one is better. I believe it's probably just in the settings I sent something fairly strange over you're subscribe page. You probably wouldn't get it. Just saying I wish I could pay for your apps but I just can't. As of now what I get from both of your apps is good enough actually better then that for free. Thanks I live in Ohio. Has anyone else seen planet nine on the star walk!!!!??????

  5. sam lewis-avatar

I use to swear by skymaps. But this has turned into a immersive experience. This app has made leaps in visualizatons. It make is so easy to visualize the tilt of the earth, the celestial plane. There's a tad too much animation on the constellations at first but once adjusted it makes using the user's experience surreal... Making this developer and app one of the only that actually understands/thinks about the u.i. these days.

  6. Isaiah Johnson-avatar

So far it is pretty cool, entertaining, and intuitive. I haven't had it for to long but I've used more then a few times if even just briefly. Not to many ads. Specially for the amount of content in-between adds. If your looking for a astrological app this is a must try. Only reason not 5 stars is because I haven't tried all of it.

  7. TDF Public-avatar

Very good app overall. It offers lots of info and it is relatively easy to find any constellation your looking for. The only downside, is that calibration is never quite accurate. No matter how many times I try, I cannot get the app to center properly on a known object such as Venus. This throws everything off and can make identifying unknown objects a bit difficult.

  8. Ruben Colon-avatar

I find this app to be a very good teaching tool for anyone especially children, I'm sure they would enjoy starwalk! And this could be an exciting introduction into astronomy. Using this tool in tandem with a telescope and a good vantage point! would open up Great new ideas for your child's mind, there's so many ways to utilize this tool sky's the limit. Great app guy's keep up the good work. Ps. you don't really need a telescope or a good vantage point but for me it's more fun.

  9. Gary Gibbs-avatar

I give this app 5 stars all day any day. The only thing I'd like to see changed or tweaked would be the names of things. If they could just be made larger so that they don't get covered up or disappear. If I enlarge an area of the night sky, the name size doesn't change. If it could just get a little bigger or more bold even, that would be so awesome. I paid for all the features and use them every night! Still worthy of at LEAST 5 stars, and I'd give it more if I could!

Star Walk 2 is like the than the good old Google Sky Map (which is now a non-Google indy app) but also much-much better. Its visual part is eye-catching and its functionality is superb. You may find yourself just wandering in the sky. Tons of info only visible if and when you want them. One of the best parts is the only-essential, very informative notifications to let you learn and spot unique astronomical phenomena. I am an amateur photographer and I have the full version (recommended).

  11. Mike Maximus-avatar

ADS! Trying to evaluate this app to see if I will purchase. Everytime I try to do something, an ad jumps in before I can do anything. After the 6th ad in 3 mins, I uninstalled it. I'm not going to sit through ads like that to make a determination if i will purchase any product. I saw one of the reviews that said not to many ads between content, total Bullsh _ t! Must have been a paid review.

  12. Cindy College-avatar

I absolutely love this Star Walk 2 app and I almost use it on a daily basis. I love it so much I even paid the small fee about 2 years ago and upgraded my account to the All-In-One ad free bundle package. IMO, this app is definitely the only app you will ever need to explore the sky!!

  13. Piku Chowdhury-avatar

It was an amazing app.I loved it.I am a great fan of astronomy. And this is a very good application for astronomy. But I can't give it 5 star because, I can give it 5 star but can't you give the planets of some stars. Although it is not possible to give all the planets but you can give some planets of some stars. Do you know why I like astronomy? Because of the ''Blackholes''.So can you give some main blackholes like the Sagittarius A or others? If you can pleeeeeas. But I will say that it good app

  14. Darren Bovis-Coulter-avatar

Love this.... Was the only app I could find that helped me locate the milky way when I was learning, but I love the news updates too. Calibration can be a pain which is why I have 4 stars... A better tutorial is required to understand what I need to do get it calibrated, but that's probably my error, I've tried every which way to get it to calibrate quickly.

  15. Gene Jaster-avatar

Cool app... BUT, way TOO MANY ADS! When app 1st opens - there are nag (nagging) ads encouraging you to pay for upgraded service. You skip that 1 page, only to be faced with multiple other 'encouragements. We all come to expect ads on free apps (THE BEST ONES DO NOT) (would be nice if they didn't ~money grubbing world we live in~) but to be instantly, and continuously bombarded, is ridiculous. Other than that, a fantastic app! I encourage all to at least take a look and give it a test drive!

  16. Corey Bouche-avatar

    * Best sky app ever! Settings are easy and I * love the notifications for upcoming sky events. The sky map is very accurate and correct. The 3D * is cool and sky information on objects are very detailed and informative. I have the paid * version and worth * paying for. Point to the sky and real live information up help you find what * you are looking for. Happy Star Walk hunting.

  17. Corina W-avatar

So far, great app! Got it during a sale and was surprised with the features. Shows stars with constellation overlays which I think is pretty neat. The alerts of events is handy too. Would've forgotten to watch a few things if not for the app. Keep up the great work!

  18. Cory Johnson-avatar

Okay app, has good info in free version on just about anything you'd want to know about. Always makes me calibrate my compass before using. Even after calibrating the view is off considerably, pointing straight at the moon for example, the app displays about a 10 degree difference compared to what I'm actually looking at.

  19. Sandra Woodside-avatar

    Sandra Woodside

Beautiful presentation of the night sky in the free version. Like the fact one can change the screen to red so you maintain your night vision as you look at the screen. Good notifications of night sky events and calming music as you Skywatch. Highly recommend this app.

  20. ken Selover-avatar

Love the app. I initially didnt like it because it is a representation of the sky. I thought i would see the actual sky on my phone screen but this is much more detailed and can be used at any time. Regardless of inclement weather or poor viewing conditions.

  21. sasuthe23-avatar

Fun to play with. No idea how it compares. Has a few issues but I'm not particular so take my opinion lightly. I've had a few issues getting it to track when I moved the phone correctly but that may be on me. Otherwise no complaints

  22. CloudMG-avatar

Looks nice but that's it, I have the Moon straight in front of me and the app shows that it's somewhere to my right, and the image moves allot making me dizzy, I try to aligne the moon in the app to the real moon in front of me but it won't stay, was a nice idea try some more

  23. Nathaniel Smith-avatar

    Nathaniel Smith

Honestly, it's a good app. But the ads are annoying. And I wish I could find stars easier. It doesn't help that I live in suburbia with lots of light pollution. I really want to identify stars I see, but the app doesn't do that well with matching what I see in real life to the star map.

  24. Dianne Smith-avatar

Very helpful app for this back garden, older amateur astronomer who uses mainly binoculars for viewing. Worth paying the small amount to be ad-free . The 'What's New' section is extremely useful and explanations are informative and user-friendly. I think is a great addition to my hobby star-gazing. Thank you.

  25. Zoomie Nimbus-avatar

App has become my GoTo stargazing source, been using it for a year w/o a single issue. Easy to use, intuitive, lots of features. Recommend the few dollars to get addons and kill ads. Better than Sttellarium on my laptop. Installed on 10" tablet, Android 8.1

  26. Buzzrust 1-avatar

It would be a awesome app if everything that it can do didn't cost money. Its very accurate when viewing the stars and constellations, but every option other than viewing costs you. That sucks just saying. I have a galaxy note 10 and it works flawlessly.

  27. Starbourd-avatar

Have found it good for planning (shame about the weather). Good tutorial aid. Well worth the money too. I also find it a relaxing app to watch at night in bed. Full marks on the notifications. If it was not for those, well, I'd be lost !

  28. Mike O'Driscoll-avatar

    Mike O'Driscoll

I use the paid version on a tablet. Great, but when installed on phone iI would have to pay to remove adverts and buy all the extras again. No, sorry. Trying to restore purchases doesn't work so I'll stick with the tablet. Cannot do with loud adverts for Sainsbury's or dumb games. Uninstalled from phone.

  29. sean ross-avatar

Awesome little tool for the curious star gazer that knows only the basics, wish it had black holes & neutron stars on the roster of objects to look for, & some more deep space objects, but it's still very in depth & all around fun, especially the reminders for celestial events that I'd otherwise have no idea about

  30. William St Laurent-avatar

    William St Laurent

Love this app! It's visually appealing and the music/sound effects add to it's overall appeal. My daughter and I are planning on purchasing a telescope to enhance our experience and learning. Thank you to the creators of the app!

  31. Flávio Ferrari-avatar

    Flávio Ferrari

Suggestion: The path of the satellite on the skymap: to show the time the object will be at the selected point. Would've be nice to send a video to demonstrate to the developer :) 2- option to increase the size of the planets.

  32. Juan Pablo Obleas Crespo-avatar

    Juan Pablo Obleas Crespo

It helped me greatly in order to be curious and start in astronomy. The app brings info and content although it might not be the most accurate one, it's still a great way to start and understand the night sky.

  33. Jessica Surtz-avatar

Was cool at first But now when I hold it up to the sky and move around it always goes back to the same spot. It only let's me see what's in one direction. I even paid for the extras. Has become a waste.

  34. Jason Carroll-avatar

Trash. Even with the so called update, my Note 10 and this app dont agree. Startup is locked to "north" no matter where you are facing. Compass free look always wants to slide back to north or near there on screen no matter where you are facing. Defeats the entire purpose of the app to have inaccurate reporting and an inability to even have the app try and pan with your device as you are moving around the sky. Dont waste your time.

  35. Everett Johnson-avatar

    Everett Johnson

I haven't tried other apps. Didn't need to. This does exactly what I wanted with minimal interruptions. Absolutely wonderful to gaze at the stars and be able to know/research at what you're looking.

  36. Ruby Sanchez-avatar

It is amazing for stargazing. I had the best experience that I've had in a long time. You get an amazing experience for only $5.00, or if you wish, no money at all. The money is definitely worth it though. I would strongly reccomend this app to anyone and everyone.

  37. Thomas Kleven-avatar

Lots of ads but cool app to chill & see what else is out there We're all so consumed with daily life and looking down. Really cool, being able to take time to look up! Nicely done!

  38. Michael Brown-avatar

Informational app. I tried Sky View for a while but had several problems with compass and location. I do however wish that Star Walk had some of the features of Sky View. Otherwise, I have enjoyed so far.

  39. Steven Hoifeldt-avatar

    Steven Hoifeldt

It doesn't always respond to phone movement. The constellation pictures are a little different than from traditional realizations, but nice. Sometimes they obscure other objects unless you aim just right.

  40. Viram Singh-avatar

Got amazing experience with this realistic app.. feel like the universe is in my fist. Learned many thing from this app. No other apps has such graphics like this one.. future timeline is just amazing.. Uninstalled other apps as it covers everything that u want..1000 times thumbs up

  41. GameJ 2019-avatar

Very good app for kids I've told every one to download.. But now it doesn't seem to be getting my GPS direction correct might be because so many people are using it now. Fantastic and would defo recommend. Stay safe and stay happy

  42. Fawn Ricciuti-avatar

Love how easy it is to find constellations! I also like the compass option that let's me move my phone to find what I'm looking at! It also doesn't have ads pop up like ever!

  43. Kerry Magoon-avatar

It was kind of fun a couple of months ago in the middle of 2019. We had a stargazing session in my campground there at Lake Mead. We had telescopes and I saw the Orion Nebula the close up. And I also enjoyed using the "Star Walk 2' app and I shared it with others.

  44. Mihai Taraipan-avatar

Works very good. Would be nice to have more free options and not to have to pay for a lot of the things you can find for free somewer else. Would be nice that at least the search to be all free.

  45. Matt Nelson-avatar

I honestly would have upgraded if not for all the ads with the free version. I understand the need to make money but it interrupted my evaluation of the app too often and that's what decided it for me.

  46. Tanya Henson-avatar

Great app. Great at work. Unfortunately, your optional questions on the rating only give the choices of "no" and "not sure". Where is the "yes"?

  47. Antiprotivnik-avatar

My daughter loved thus app, until beer ads started popping up after every planet or star. Beer adverts for an 8 year old! I considered purchasing the add on pack. Seems interesting, until I saw alcohol adverts. I will never support that and neither should you.

  48. Claudia Johns-avatar

Definitely worth the money to buy the all in one bundle. The best in app purchase I've ever made. Great graphics, intuitive interface and seamless operation. Thumbs up guys!

  49. Mike McCourt-avatar

I often get updates by email on astronomic events and am referred to this App. When I try to and get more info it is blocked and I have to buy one of the paid apps. I'm reluctant as I don't know the quality of the app.

  50. Mark Antonyuk-avatar

Excelent . Altho Slow at reporting on the space x satellite launches tho . Every day / night im on this app ive used it both in the northern and southern atmosphere .it as really got me into something new been using around two years and ive learnt alot and allso got a nomber of family and friends on board with the app both here in England and in Australia . Love the watts new and love the ambient music 10/10

  51. Christian Whitehead-avatar

    Christian Whitehead

Epic for star 🌟 gazing. Push for the complete edition and you get ad free joy with so much information and amazing tracking abilities for stars, planets and satalites. The music and graphics help you chill out.

  52. trevor henderson-avatar

    trevor henderson

Nice content. I like the alerts but i would want a little bit more of a notice. A couple days before the events let me know so i can plan ahead more. Cool app though, essential for the amatuer stargazer.

  53. Dana Rolin-avatar

I absolutely love it!! It tells where all the constalations are, the names of the stars, when we are going to have a meteor shower and all about the Moon!! Fun fun

  54. Wayde Holmquist-avatar

    Wayde Holmquist

Star Walk 2, this is a great easy to use, education, very accurate astrological app. Provides notification as as things change in the sky.along with the astrological details. The best star and planet app I've used.

  55. James Lamb-avatar

Uninstalling. Beautiful and we'll designed, BUT Ads are overwhelming. I understand ads, ad I can deal with an advertisement here and there, but the ads in this app complete ruin the experience.

  56. Joe Parrish-avatar

Great app for learning about our sky. I particularly like the notifications letting me know when and where to see thing like meteor showers, planets, etc. The ability to hold it out and have it actually show you what's in front of you is great. It tracks your orientation and location (when using the app) to give you an accurate picture of the sky. Likewise you can search for specific items and use the app to help locate them.

  57. Ian Jones-avatar

This is the best astronomy app ever. It never let's me down and full of useful information on tap. Great program and I will always upgrade when necessary.

  58. Mike Taylor-avatar

Excellent.. Extremely accurate (star/planet/moon wise) but the accuracy of phone/camera position is wonky but chalk that up to the fact I'm on an Android phone (not by choice).

  59. Alix Slaven-avatar

Purchased the all-in-one bundle, but it wouldn't open, next day I emailed developer - no reply from them, it opens now, but still plagued with free version ads!

  60. Jake Mercurio-avatar

With this app I can easily find planets, nebula, and all kinds of interesting space objects! I highly recommend to anyone looking to get the most out of their telescope.

  61. Faithann Sager-avatar

It's pretty good but it's annoying cuz you have to move it around you have to pay money for it and there's one for free that's better than this one but besides that it's a really good at and everyone should purchase it

  62. Light Seeker-avatar

I would have upgraded to the paid version if it had been more accurate. I expect more improvements in the location and real time settings.

  63. Nightmare Nugget-avatar

    Nightmare Nugget

Great app - haven't had a single glitch yet and been using it every evening for the last couple of weeks. I paid for it, so good to not have ads and well worth the money so far.

  64. Mark Parkinson-avatar

I particularly appreciate the below horizon 'seeing'. Being myopic and colour impaired, I enjoy the apps reproduction of the star colouring which I cannot see in the sky. Cool!

  65. Darrick Totten-avatar

So what's the big idea of having the option to buy the full version and then months after that purchase I find out you now have a new add on and I have no access to it without paying lol, kinda doesn't feel like I paid for the full version of the app now, does it?.. and now I can once again "buy the full version" with all the bundles included (like 8/9 I already have) but who's to say in a few more months you won't add another thing and completely make that purchase completely obsolete too? Lol

  66. Aaron Rowan-avatar

Love this app... This is an astrology masterpiece. Highly accurate information detailing stars, planets, constellations, comets, even asteroids on the paid version. 2 thumbs up for sure

  67. Bro Kai-avatar

The app is half accurate. It will show how high in the sky something is but when you face your phone towards that object such as the moon, the moon on the app will be somewhere else

  68. Michael R-avatar

Skates around too much on a Moto G6. Some apps can work the G6 magnetometer well. This isn't one of them, possibly because it's trying to use a low power compass mode that doesn't work on a G6.

  69. clyde parton-avatar

Love the notifications of upcoming events. Accuracy is awesome. Learning more and more each time I use it. A must have for anyone who ever looks up!

  70. Jean Burriola-avatar

This is a REALLY SUPER APP! New at sky gazing,& this app is really easy to use to find my bearings in the night sky. Thank you!

  71. Jon Erler-avatar

I like this app. I can point my phone at any star and it will tell me what it is and if I have the setting set up it will show me the constellations that that star is in.

  72. Shawn Hogan-avatar

It is great fun and easy app to use. Hours of time to spend looking at the stars and all the beauty around us. I bought the premium app and I'm so happy I got it. Great job on the app.

  73. Pam Weaver-avatar

Star gazing is my meditation.... It's with the assistance from Star Walk 2 that definitely makes the night my favorite time of day. This app is absolutely amazing!

  74. Alex Barreto-avatar

I've been using this app (obviously, the paid version) for the last three years... never look back, but I think there are some missing feats that can perfectly be included, for example: having the ability to change time zones within the app just so you can see other parts of the world's sky. Also, making the stars disappear as the sunlight takes over... (more realistic lighting). But overall, great app and definitely 5/5.

I liked more for the version 1 in my iphone4 a few years back. Did this new version lost this feature or am I doing something wrong? I have an Moto G6 play with Android 9. Thanks

I have the paid version and am very happy with it. The camera feature is excellent for lining up sky photography.

I really love this app. It's a phenomenal learning tool and gets me outside in the fresh air at night. I've seen some amazing activity in the sky over Cork tonight, must find out what it was next!

I like the updates on upcoming astronomical events and how to see them. I just wish it would be less glitchy when it comes to the spammed advertisements.

It's a good app for understanding and basics, dont offer a lot as a free app for those wanting a bit more detail and depth to the knowledge.

  80. Randy Pinkham-avatar

A little difficult to navigate at first but easily learned. Otherwise, the details and graphics are fantastic

Amazing app. Have never seen any app like this. Literally an awesome experience and I'd be really happy too on purchasing it's full version so I'm going to purchase it now.

The Star Walk 2 is the coolest ap I have ever seen. It especially got my attention when I realized I could point my smart phone down and see the southern hemispheres stars and constellations, wow! At age 69 (another month) the wonders of technology never cease.

The app is great. Easy to use and you can get started looking at the heavens practically straight away. Very intuitive to use.

This app is amazing! Just aim it at your sky to find out exactly what you're seeing outside. I love the real time data. It also notifies you of events in your night sky. The add free bundle is definitely worth it! You can view so much more with this version. I love the 3d views and the ability to see farther in the universe. Plus it removes the annoying ads which pop up EVERY time you do anything in the free version.

  85. SeSSioN-avatar

It's a great app BUT the ads are crazy, please tone the frequency down, as it pops up so much. Fix that problem and 5 stars.

  86. Stan Zackoski-avatar

An ok app. Costs too much to have all the cool features but is good for info about upcoming events and identifying bodies and constellations.

Love the app and do use it every, day. I haven't given it 5 stars because the information provided is usually a day or two out of synch with Internet coberage

Such a beautiful app. Enjoying using and learning so much. Well worth a few quid to get the extra packs too. Hat off to the developer!

It is a joy to be able to use this app. I only use with my kid, and not as an astronomy buff. It works absolutely fine for the purpose I need it for.

  90. Andy Pishnak-avatar

It doesn't do everything I want it to. I had to purchase two other apps to get everything I needed out of your apps. And that after paying for all the upgrades.

  91. Kylger-avatar

Really really happy with this app. Does get stuck at times, but it fixes itself very quickly.

  92. Leigh Paterson-avatar

Fantastic, bought whole bundle, love all the features. Also a work of art, so beautiful aswell as informative!

  93. Guriqbal Singh-avatar

Horrific amount of ads. Spoils the whole experience. I had a very bad experience. Spoiled a good app.

Not possible to identify a satellite in a sky. You need to know the name of it and make a search. Please, add a filter to search for currently visible objects.

  95. Irina Masl-avatar

It is astonishing!! Thank you so much for creating this app! I love the night sky and now at least I know what I'm looking at!

  96. Graham Sharp-avatar

Slow to load, confusing and difficult to navigate, over elaborate. Hard to use it to identify what you are seeing in the sky.

  97. T U-avatar

Love it so far! Having some difficulty with calibration but it's likely user error, I'm still pretty new to the app 😊

  98. Allan Fidler-avatar

Can someone explain why when I open map everything stays stationary. When I move phone it doesn't scan the sky. It stays still. Not sure what's going on

  99. Stephan Bento-avatar

Great app, easy to use. Free version has ads but they're quick. Love it.

No better way to find your way around the stars above your head. Recommend you purchase the app for full benifits, and, add free content.
