Not a good way of doing this!!! It makes security and recovery a complete nightmare. Why not just use simple two step verification method and use an existing authentication system? Why create another closed system? The KISS method please!!

I mean it works? But if you ever change device it's a nightmare. If you ever lose your code. You have to go through their support team which is fine. But it means you can't play until you get a response. I don't kkow why they don't just add 2 step verification like everywhere else so you can use other apps like Google authenticator etc.

It doesn't work for me. I use the right username, password, and bday and it says it's wrong. It also closes everytime i try to open another app. So I can't use something like Nordpass with it as it cannot be used to copy paste nor can it be used to auto fill as the function won't work. This is the worse one time password app I've ever seen.

This so far this app has not givens me any issues, in fact it's actually being quite working well on my end. I know security plays a huge factor in to this however I believe this could be better. My idea is If we could add a system when trying to log onto the game, the app sends a notification pop-up to your phone acknowledging if this is you or not. Something to cut down time with the process it's now.

I personally like the extra security it gives. As someone who plays FFXIV, it a security measure one would need if you purchase things with real money. Setting it up was the only thing that was annoying. Would have taken a half a star off if it would let me.

Five stars. It allows me to play Final Fantasy XIV and works every single time. Edit: I'm sorry people had trouble. When trying to play FF14 the set up part was confusing but the part with this app was fast. I blame the set up process made by Square Enix not this app. This app I use every day to log in and works exactly as it says it would. Without it, I wouldn't be able to play one of best form of media I've ever experienced.

So far, so good! It was super easy to set up - just followed the instructions and it worked right away. I have a Galaxy S9 and this app hasn't given me any issues yet. It makes me feel a lot more secure, knowing I have this extra security step.

It shouldn't be this difficult to log in to a game. You need the app to log in but you need to have bought the game to use the app and get a one time password. This is for a free trial. Terrible.

So, seeing all the negative reviews about this apps data resetting itself, I decided to give it a go. 2 weeks later and it hasn't given me a problem. Works perfectly fine. Only issue is the OTP timer shows max length every time you view it no matter how close it is to expiring but it's no big deal. Also, TO PEOPLE SAYING YOU NEED THIS TO PLAY: You don't! Just leave the one-time password field empty since you don't have one. Been playing 3 years and only just got this; it is completely optional.

For all the people who can't get this to work, I was in the same boat. I had to get the Google authenticator setup > register my game code through the MOG shop thing > diable the Google authenticator > install and setup this one. Can't setup this without a bought game, can't register without a "one time" pass, can't have both authenticator active.
