    One of the worst apps got worse. Now I had to sign into my Sears account before I could get to the credit card function and then sign into my Sears credit card. Then the next time I didn't have to. Very confusing. I also have to scroll through all the advertisements just to get to the credit card login link

    It was horrible. Everytime I would try to go back, it would go to a blank screen. If I try to go back again, it would kick me out of the app. Also, it never sends a confirmation email to change your password for being a Sears rewards member. I like Sears, please fix this.

    Terrible experience with the app! I've used this app for 2 or 3 years now & it is worse each time I login. I've been able to login without much trouble but navigating in the app is maddening. For the past week, navigating inside the app is a series of click and spins which take you no where and eventually time out. I would have given only 1 Star but at the last minute my item pulled up and I was able to place an order. Please, Sears, work on the app. Would love to utilize it more often.

    Terrible - impossibly SLOW & keeps telling me I'm it can't find my location... I'm picking up an order in Chicago Ridge, google maps sees me there just fine. But Sears (when it takes less than 10 minutes to sign me in) can't find me, but it may be that it keeps looking at Hoffman Estates. I keep changing store to Chicago Ridge, order says it is at Chicago Ridge but when you go to order pickup it changes selected store back to Hoffman Estates. No wonder they are going bankrupt.

    The site is not the worst. My interest's are hot water heaters and not enough options. I hope Sears can survive but with this owner, doubtful. I tried ordering a patio table. It was in the checkout basket but wouldn't let me finalize it.

    The concept is ok, the app not so great. When you go to your account to ask a question, it's sent through email. When you receive your message back it's in an inbox in a PDF format. Click on it... nothing. Then it went to Shop my way or something like that. Hopefully it'll get better. Been with Sears since 2006. Disappointed.

    At first I really liked the APP at first. Then slowly it's seemed to get worse and worse. The layout is nice and pretty easy to follow. The APP moves really slow. It lists items that are either not available or not able to ship. Curbside pickup almost never works. I like the cashback and rewards program.

    Hostile user interface! If you refine your search results, or select an item that's out-of-stock, the app freezes up. (Previous versions have done it, and the current version did tonite.) Out-of-stock items continue to show up for sale on the app, weeks or months since being available for sale. (It's clear that Sears isn't restocking, and that they're just trying to clear out existing stock. What major hardware retailer can survive offering for sale only one hammer! The end is near!)

    This has got to be the worst app ever. Well maybe tied with the Citibank app which is also horrid. I have been trying to get signed on with the sears app literally for months!!! Once I ended up with some kind of mess I could not even identify just trying to get a password - and now the same thing. I am no Bill Gates - but I can operate a simple reset function. What is wrong???

    Sends pop up messages about discounts which immediately disappear, so there's no way to find the promo codes. Filters in searches reset each time, not at all intuitive. Checkout takes forever. Snarky discount policies. Now that I've ordered, I'm deleting this app. There's probably a good reason neither Kmart nor Sears could stay in business in my town.

    Needs a lot of improvement. Very inconsistent results when searching. When searching using the same words you get different results each time with many items that are unrelated to the subject search. Also, it needs to provide an option to filter/separate items sold by Sears and by other sellers. Very user unfriendly app.

    I have mixed thoughts on this app, one hand it works so much better than then the actual website which is always glitchy and suspect whereas the app is sometimes glitchy and suspect. The initial opening of app is flawless however if I do multiple searches of products and/or go back to pages it starts to fail. I can check my account and status of order with no problem. If you have one set task and it's clear you will make only that purchase it will be a 5 star app.

    Downloaded the app. Opened it up and found out you MUST either log in to your account or create one. So ... I uninstalled the app. It shouldn't force you to sign up just to look around the website. They are turning away potential customers that may want to make a quick purchase but NOT become a Sears member. Their loss. BTW - I have a sears charge account and am a rewards member but the way the app is set up turned me off so I won't use it.

    In shoes if I click on sneakers and athletic I get men's casual shoes. Some shoe categories are correct but several take me to something totally different. I have spent time trying to shop for shoes that look like they are on sale only too find that Sears is out of stock but they may be available at a much higher price from some other vendor. Very difficult to shop with this app!

    Forcing people to go through the reCAPTCHA nightmare hell just to log into the site, then every time you open the app or go onto the site. Having to keep re-inserting my password "so we know it's you" followed by that reCAPTCHA hell, forced to click dozens of revolving images, page after endless page to "prove" I'm not a robot. That is the worst thing about your app & sites. And the ONLY locations allowed are for Chicago. App constantly logs me out, pages don't load & the $5 app bonus is a lie.

    If I could give this a negative number, it would not go low enough. When you attempt to checkout you are continually asked to fill out your mailing and payment info but it does not let you. I have an account with all that information, but it somehow can't be transferred. There is no help on the customer service link. I love the price of what I am trying to purchase, but can't do it. The website is no better. Clearly this app and website have been given 0 attention

    Kinda frustrating! Sears has layaway with a separate search that is supposed to search layaway items but it doesn't. It has items that are sold from other stores that you can't get on layaway. Also you guys show items that aren't available in store or shipping.. kinda pointless. Not to mention some of the clothing that is being sold looks like used item's from people not actually stores. Almost like they should be selling on letgo or offer up. And the prices on some items of those items...WOW

    Horribly inconsistent user experiences. Takes pages a terrible amount of time to open and close. Menu selections work on occasion, and fail to respond on others, sometimes locking up the application altogether - thus, requiring a full restart of the application. I know this is certainly not an issue with the operation of my smartphone, nor any of its system software or network functions. I do not have problems with other similar applications.

    This is the slowest app i have ever used. When I go to check on information to make sure I've found the right profuct or size, the app loses the item completely and I have to start my search again. And when I finally got all the information filled in and tried to complete my purchase, it failed and gave me no information on what be went wrong, then refused to let me make any corrections or retry. I finally went online to wrestle with their web app, which was almost as bad (the captcha is illegible no matter how many times you try, and they kept telling me my email was not in the system but my phone number was). I'll never use this app again, and will be slow to buy anything from Sears. Did I mention that the product was $78 each at Sears but could be purchased elsewhere for $52? Sadly, I needed to use Sears Credit.

    This app was great until I attempted to check the status of my purchase last night. Now when I open the app it continuously reloads and I can't get past the home page. It constantly logs me out but that isnt a huge problem except when I earn rewards I dont get the notifications indicating so. I enjoy browsing and checkout is usually a breeze. I love the ability to select the option of waiting in my car to pick up my items through the app.

    Locks up or will not go back to previous screens. Like the cart. Or closes app. Does not accept password or Sears credit card. Fails every time I try to use. But savings are great when you cannot buy anything. Later: Changed password to try to place an order. Very slow and finally confirmed changed password. Very slow page loading. Selected my order items. Went tocart. Had to log in again, but would not sccept new password. Lost order. Again. So why do I try? I like Sears but stores to far away.

    Painfully Slow! Everything you do on here takes so long for the app to process. From clicking to see an item, to going back to the main page, to selecting shipping options. Everything takes too long. It was so annoying that I almost uninstalled the app when i had a total of a few hundred dollars ready to purchase. i decided to keep it till i finished because i had already spent so much time on it. I finally bought the stuff and now this app is uninstalled. The website is no better. Please Fix!

    *update: After much work, i was able to log in but someone has an account under my info. this is an exceedingly slow app. I'd have stopped trying along time ago but have 6 gift cards to use that had accumulated over the past couple years problem is, can only upload 5 per order kinda stupid, no? Funny, Amazon and other sites don't have those limits. *Old Review: What a horrible app. Can't even update my personal information, keeps coming up with these error messages that disappear before getting a chance to actually read the message. One message wouldn't let me change my address to my new place- says something about not a Shop Your Way something or rather, it's beyond rediculous. My address on the account is somehow a split of my old address & new address. Did someone steal my info and create an account with my email? Tried putting my phone number in, etc… can't do anything.

    This is the clunkiest most difficult app to use for shopping. It doesnt save your place and kicks you out and you have to start over. And you can only view a few items at a time and then you have to load more. Trying to sort out just Sears stuff is a huge PITA. We are trying to use points up and it's a huge waste of time. Our store has crappy inventory so we really have no choice but to shop here online.

    Firstly, some one needs to get rid of the image captcha that gets you to play multiple rounds of 'find this BS'. Very annoying... images are not clear and even if you do manage to identify the correct tiles it keeps prompting for more captchas... I went through 16 images that loops between bus, fire hydrant, stairs, cross walks & bicycles. Will use the website rather than waste my time on the app. If you have been lucky to get through without the captcha, you are either a genius at it or have really good eyes. I might not be either but an app should not be so troublesome.

    Extremely frustrating!!! Everytime you click to go back it goes to the very beginning not the last page so you're having to go through the whole search again to find items you're interested in. Soo frustrating I nearly said **** it! I was trying to finish Christmas shopping so I hung in there. Also noticed most buyers are 3rd person and Sears doesn't do the refunds or exchanges.

    For over a year I've been making payments thru this app for my card. The changed the format of this app to where managing your card is no longer in big bold letter. Now its tricky to find, caused me to miss a monthly payment, attached with a fee, and my credit score is taking a hit. Its like they did this on purpose to get extra money its the most horrible way possible. Im am not happy with Sears or citi bank no longer will I do business with them and I'm going to close my account with them.

    The app is better than the website. But that really isn't saying much because I have absolutely never in my life had a worse shopping experience than any time I try to shop on the Sears website. The app was glitchy making selections on the filter was glitchy checking out was horrible. There isn't enough room here for me to go into detail. I love Sears, I worked at Sears for six years, please fix your online shopping mediums. It's ridiculous and embarrassing that it's this bad.

    Nothing but problems. App continues to close unnecessarily. I have been trying to place an order for three days now! This is VERY frustrating! I've cleared cache...even cleared data! I've uninstalled the app and re-installed it. I've even tried the app on two other phones of mine! Never have I experienced such a hard time trying to spend money!

    It's hard to use. The photos won't load. It insists that you go to your cart every time you add an item, and only loads 10 or so items at a time, so once you've gone to the cart you often have to reload just to get back to where you were. The variable shipping costs for each item is ridiculous. Depending on what is in your cart the item could be $0.75 to ship or $6.49.

    I was quite disappointed trying to navigate around and through this app. Eventually I was able to find and purchase the gifts I found, but from that 'gotcha' on the first page of the site, confirmation that I'm human, to the search and onto the checking out, everything moved slowly. Not glacially slow mind you, but it took longer than expected. I buy a lot of stuff online and I have been a Sears Roebuck shopper for over fifty years, so I'm really hoping that my experience was not the norm.

    This app needs serious Improvement. Pressing the back button once, there's delays, then it takes me all the way back to the main homepage. I then put something in my shopping cart, and after it does that it takes me back to the main homepage again instead of taking me back to where I leave off. It's frustrating and I'm ready to delete it.

    What the hell. After doing about 30 captcha exercises (I'm going to have nightmares about fire hydrants and buses and traffic lights and bicycles now!!), I cannot log in. I get a "Forbidden " error every time. I can log in fine with the same credentials online via browser. This app is broken. Fix it. Looking at the next 5 reviews, 2 more people have the exact same problem, so it's not just me. Totally unusable in its current state. ZERO STARS.

    I really like Sears, and part of the reason is because of their rewards program that gives you some pretty impressive savings. This app does a good job of incorporating the rewards program so you can see exactly what things will give you points and what things you can buy with your points. You can set the search results to include Sears Marketplace, which includes Ebay, Amazon, just about every major chain store, and additional sellers, so there's rarely a shortage of selection.

    This app is very absurd. Needs many more modifications. Unlike other online portals, this makes shopping very tedious process and looks there's no update since a long time. Everytime i speak with a Customer service agent, I make sure to mention about the app that looks like putdated and quite difficult to access or to pperate. I don't know when there would be a change. However the store looks pretty much better otlr user friendly.

    Horrible app. Very difficult to browse for items. Browsing will only show 10 items at a time and takes forever to load when you click "view more". Then half the time after viewing an item and then going back to the browsing list,it sends uou back to the top and you have to scroll down all over again. Very frustrating shopping experience. No wonder they are going out of business!

    App itself is fine. But ALWAYS runs in background. PERMANENTLY uses 50-80mb of ram as background service. I even had disabled its background data & notifications, etc. No matter how many times app is killed, it auto starts immediately in the background. I finally uninstalled the sears app. Maybe I'll install it for my next order. Or, just shop a different retailer.

    After having to complete about 400 picture captchas I get "Forbidden". Okay, maybe I entered the wrong password. Another 400 captchas. Okay, reset password. Click the link in my email. Another 400 captchas. Enter new password. "Password was unsuccessful." Back to my email and click the link again. Hey! No captchas. Try entering a different password. It took! Back to the app, enter updated password. Another 400 captchas. "Forbidden". Uninstalled.

    Get with it already Fix digital issues or be out of work. If you offer promos or coupons they need to be able to apply at checkout. Very frustrating never had this issue with other retailers. Shouldnt have to call EVERYTIME to have discounts applied. Stop dividing up points so its pointless and not very rewarding to use. This method doesnt attract buyers to keep coming back and spending money. Everyone wants a deal now and days. Working class Americans shop here not the rich.

    Used to have the app, and it worked like a charm had no problems before except with it not remembering my information. Recently had to uninstall and reinstall and now it won't let me sign in! The "I am not a Robot" is not letting me pass and I see I am not the only one with this issue. I guess I will have to just go back to the desktop site.

    One, it doesn't work!!! Two, even if it worked, browsing for anything even on their website is horrible. Good luck with the app. Three, even if you find something you like, they're half the time "out of stock" (and they still show you the stuff until you try to add it to the cart), or you have to pick it up 100 mile from the local store. No wonder Sears went bankrupt, and still pay their execs millions in bonus when they're laying off workers. Sears really should just disappear from the face of this planet.

    I try to be as tolerant as possible when using testing apps but this one was beyond maddening. After resetting my password I attempted to log in. It was followed by a CAPTCHA. That's normal. What is not normal is to have to go through an infinite number of CAPTCHA verifications. I literally spent 5 minutes going through repeating car, fire truck, cross walk, store front, traffic light, over and over and over and over again. I never could fully log into my account, even after the app was reinstalled. This is on a Pixel 3 XL

    This app needs a big update, so many bugs. if you click on an item your cart it gives Bad Request error, on every item I have tried this with. you have to look up what your ordered and then search and look through pages just to read a specification. It doesnt always give you an option to continue shopping and when it does, doesnt take me back to where I was. so frustrating. only reason I gave 2 stars is because I live Sears, especially for appliances.

    Loved the app, it has been customer service I'm having trouble with. Bought a kenmore vacuum that had 1year factory warranty (kenmore is owned by Sears). It went out after only few short months and every time I talked to them I just keep getting transferred to someone else. Of the last 2 times I called. One man didn't know what to do I guess so he hung up on me when he put me on hold and the last one said I would have someone contacting me within 48hrs. Been 3 weeks. No call, no vacuum.. 😡

    I've enjoyed using this app to get multiple items from Sears. It's way faster than bringing a 9 year old to the store to pick out summer clothes; this app is so user friendly that she was able to pick up & place the clothes she liked into the cart herself (the good thing is that she wasn't able to finish the transaction)!! Overall this app was easy to use and made for a good shopping experience.

    Worse app I have ever used. Always takes forever. Moves on it's own, gets stuck. The site shortcut search takes you places for unknown reasons. I put in arm saws and it took me to barbie dolls. Crazy. Always changes pages because they have it set up way to finger screen sensitive. Can't even browse. To many things show up in browsing area that you're not even interested in. You would think sense they keep closing there stores that there online would be very important to Sears. Especially Today

    Tried to use the In-Vehicle Pickup and the app could not find my store at first. Finally was able to find the store and select pickup, but got an error saying the transaction could not be done at this time,. Ended up having to go into the store anyways. I am using an older phone, a Note 2, but other apps work fine.

    It's OK. Needs work. Every time I click on image to enlarge. The image doesn't appear, so your stuck staring at small thumbnails of items. Also when you press back everything refreshes to the top of the page not at the last thing you were looking at, so I have to start all over again, really time consuming navigating this app.

    Very slow to load from page to page. The bad thing is this. If your on page # 62 of a tool section of a catagory. Like socket sets. And you put an item in the cart. When you hit continue shopping you have start from page #1 and slowly go back to page # 62 one page at a time. Takes forever to get to page # 62. So shopping thru all pages of a catagory and putting items in the cart can take 45 minutes just to put 5 items in the cart. Because you have to start on page#1 each time. Otherwise great.

    I uninstalled it. No way to go to the website without logging in. I hate all these username and passwords I have to remember (except for safety at checkout. ) It may be just me but I like to first go to a website and check and compare. I don't want to go through all this login garbage with no way to get around it into the website.

    Awesome app! It makes shopping at Sears convenient when I want to shop online and don't have my laptop with me. It's also easy to scan the bar code on items while I'm shopping at a Sears store. And I enjoy the prompt notifications when I have an order that's ready for store pickup.

    More improvements needed for a smoother mobile shopping experience. After viewing an item from a list, it sometimes takes you back to the beginning of the list! That's annoying if you have to scroll down, click view more and then repeat several times to get back to previous location!

    This app is hard to navigate. when you add something to the cart the screen goes to the cart and then when you leave the cart you are back at the home screen. Took me 15 minutes to buy two pairs of shorts on the same color. the search results are also littered with marketplace items, which are often from ebay and dont work with sears points. The app also does a poor job of giving sale items at a glance. you always have to pick a xategory and them a subcategory and then products show.

And it is super slow , it tends to go to the very beginning of the list after placing an item in cart, it shows very few items in succession before needing to refresh and continue!!! Really HORRIBLE app! It's only because of the awesome deals offered that I have even messed with it at all, but I'm done. Too bad Sears, I always liked you, online, you suck.

    Bugs have not been quashed yet. I cannot log in through the app (though online on my computer is fine), yet if I navigate from the menu on my phone's main screen, I can access some of the features. Very big pain in the butt! Please work harder at quashing the bugs caused by a recent update...

    This application is the definition of bad usability. If you misspell your login email, the system immediately navigates you to another page to create a new account. Once you log in, you will find yourself in an infinite reCaptcha loop that's so slow and seemingly endless, that you may eventually start questioning whether you really know what a crosswalk, bus, or store front even look like. If you're lucky enough to escape the reCaptcha purgatory, expect a never-ending loading screen.

    App needs to be more user friendly. The features are there but the functionality on mobile devices is very much below average. Needs to be adjusted as far as the zooming in and out. While doing the aforementioned, the app has a tendency to quickly freeze. Upgrading the software of the app, I believe, would produce better ratings!

    it sends me to my cart every time i add something, instead of letting me continue browsing. the search function refining could work better also. and i wish the was a way to exclude categories or select several at once. Lately I've been asked to confirm my password to look at orders only to get bumped back to the home location after doing so. Trying to go into orders again starts the cycle over.

    Gave 5 stars even though its not perfect but the site has come a long way since last year. I really like how it populates and coupons clipped, bonus points/cash with a simple way to add however much you wish to use towards the current transaction. The issues that could be improved on are 1. if an item is sold out, it would be nice to have the option to be notified when it comes back in stock and 2. there needs to be a way to contact customer support via email or live chat. Keep up the good work

    In car pick-up feature doesn't work reliably. Parked outside a Sears store the app can't locate the store. You have to choose from a list of stores to tell the app where you are located. Then the app is supposed to display what orders are ready for pick-up and notify store associates you have arrived and are waiting outside. When it works it is great. Today the app froze and a spinning circle was displayed. I had to go inside to retrieve my order.

    My first time using app was an exhausting experience. When I tried to go back in a second time I put in my password for the 1st time and a message came up saying I had exhausted all of my attempts to sign in! Then I had to go thru the process of resetting my password. I'm in it now and the first thing that pops up is a request to rate the app! Ok, I rated it, hopefully I can look at some items and nothing else will happen.

    I've been trying to create an account for the past few days, both on the computer and this app. Nothing ever happens once I've entered all of my information, no matter what I do.. what I change, nothing works. Why should I have to try so hard to create an account to purchase something from a company. How am I the one working to give you my money?! Horrible. It's turned me off from Sears all together. I'll shop elsewhere.

    This is the worst app I've ever tried to use. The only reason I even downloaded this app was because your website was slow and glitchy. You can't even use the app unless you create an account, and I've been trying to do that for 30 minutes because your software is timing out because it's so freaking slow. Not to mention at the end of the process, you have to select "I'm not a robot" and you can't even see all the pictures for the "I'm not a robot" test. Get it together Sears.

    The app shows things that are not available or out of stock... consistently freezes up... Does not have intelligent memory. For instance say you add something to the cart then it brings you to the card and then you click continue shopping , well then it brings you all the way back to the beginning home page rather than to the page or search criteria you were just looking at... maybe it's just me or maybe it's my phone or maybe just maybe Sears needs to step it up and re- improve themselves.

    when i shop online, i like when i can see the items as a grid view with large, borderless photos and only the important information shown such as the price with discount and store availability. i feel that the small, bordered photos make it harder to find what i want to buy. if i purchase online, i prefer to pick up at a store that i enjoy shopping in, and i will select a pickup location that is modern, inviting and has it all. there is no better store than a flagship store.

    After my Kmart online cart broke now my online cart in the Sears app/site and SYW app also has a glitch! It wrongly says I have 26 items in it and it will not let me access the cart to remove them and I have cleared my cache several times on my phone and computer so it's on their end! Customer Support does not help to merge my account or fix the technical issues so Sears is losing money! Expert in computers so I have done all I could!

    App Is terrible. I just used online. The navigation isn't good and it is confusing for me (log in issues even though nothing has changed). Unfortunately it is as bad as their quality of service. The sellers are basically eBay sellers which Sears offers you no protection from. There is a whole red tape of things that has to be done unless you live next to a Sears. Which most do not. I'd stick to the "smile". Sears isn't what it used to be. Maybe they should have just stayed out of business.

    The app is terribly slow only allows the person using it to view a few items at a time without having to click a link to refresh and see more. Returns user to beginning after adding item to cart, can't view close ups of items with quality pictures. Unless Sears got the app and updates for free it's a waste of money.

    my experience was very good and pleasurable I found almost everything I needed. the only downfall was I was not able to find an employee when I needed to ask a question. the lines were also extremely long and it seemed like it took forever to check out besides that I had a wonderful experience when I did finally meet a staff or a couple staff members they were very nice.!!!

    After the last update it has become a very bad app. There are so many issues that I would have to do a spreadsheet to show them all. You will lose a lot of customers because of this dysfunctional app. If there wasn't certain items that were only obtainable from Sears, I wouldn't use this app again. Thus, I would stop purchasing Sears.

    Hard to find how to navigate to my account. When I do locate the account I have trouble opening my statements. Looks like I may be getting redirected but the site locks up with a transparent grey overscreen with the spinning circle indicating it is trying to download, but nothing happens. Had to shut down my tablet to get off that screen.

I spent an hour trying to find traffic lights, bicycles, crosswalks, buses or store fronts in blurry, little pictures trying to prove I'm a real person and not a computer. After several minutes it would return me to the login page. I never made it into the app.

When you finally find something you want and put it in your shopping cart and go back to list you were looking at it takes you to the very beginning not the place you left off at....SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!     When looking for the order details of a past instore purchase, touching the back button to go back to the list of orders actually takes me back to the home page. There is no way on an order details page to look at another order. Also, clicking on some purchases to review order details resulted in a page of useless gibberish. I was unable to match my items for return credit. Also, promotional prices for items in your cart can expire and revert to regular price as you are navigating the checkout.

    on 4/4/19, I posted, "Annoying notifications almost every day. I open it when I want or need something." I checked all the settings to ensure some of the notifications would stop, but they haven't. I kept this because I grew up in a Kenmore house and everything lasted for years. So I started buying Kenmore and am completely disappointed! My $500 grill didn't make it 5 years! Since Sears is annoying me, "bye."
