Speech jammer Ultimate App inhibits a user from speaking in coherent sentences due to the brain being confused by the slight delay in auditory feedback of the users own voice and by SpeechJammer, you can literally "jam" someone's voice. Through the Delayed Auditory Feedback effect, the speaker will have trouble articulating while speaking, effectively inhibiting his or her speech! What's more, speech jammer master utilizes a feedback loop. You don't just think of a sentence and your mouth automatically says it from vocal memory. Your brain is constantly monitoring the sound of your voice in real time to keep it sounding like you want it to. Sort of like walking across a tightrope. You don't have a memorized sequence of movements needed to cross. Your mind is constantly analyzing your balance and correcting itself. This is why deaf people have difficulty speaking clearly. When you have your voice played back with a delay, your brain confuses what you're actually saying and what is being played back so that it "corrects" itself based off the delayed sound which then causes the strange sounding speech. So it's kind of like if you are walking the tightrope but your sense of balance is one second behind. You're gonna fall off because you need real time feedback. It sucks. The delay is too long. It should be around 200 ms, but the lowest is 1800 ms! Also, it hears the speaker, and makes a feedback loop, which leads to a loud, high pitched, very annoying sound. Even the very quiet noise of the ac in my house became so loud that everyone in the room could hear it clearly.

I felt like I had to make a review as all the top ones are just braindead. THIS APP ISNT MEANT TO BE A PERFECT PLAYBACK DEVICE! The whole idea is that it trips you up while you speak because it's funny (literally is called Speech *JAMMER*), and for that purpose, it works flawlessly.

Doesn't really jam speech. The lowest delay is so high that the only way it trips me up is through voice dysphoria :/

It doesn't work. I don't know how low of and IQ you have to have to enjoy this app, or even for it to work on you. It simply records what you are saying and starts playing it back to you on headphones, but at a delayed rate. All you have to do is listen to yourself speaking currently, and not listen to the recording, and you can speak with no trouble. And I think most people listen to themselves while they speak, even if there is other noise. I give this app a Zero.

The delay is significantly too slow to have any effect with the minimum being 1800ms, for a speech jammer to work on an average adult, the delay should be 200ms to 400ms depending on age. Due to the length of the delay this app renders itself unable to function.

Doesn't work. The delay on the lowest setting is still way too slow to actually work

As others say in their reviews: the shortest interval of 1800 ms is too long. Even with wired headphones. Extend the range to 200 ms or 250 ms and it's a nice speech jamming app. 'SpeechJammer' by MorningRain is an alternative that works like it's supposed to.

It's just an adjustable line delay. Most people can talk over this with no problem. Not a speech jammer in my opinion.
