Poor audio synchronisation - there is a lag of few seconds which really hampers watching any video. The trial ends in the app inducing a noise after just a few minutes of use. You have to pay to get rid of this noise. I would have really liked to test this app out for a bit before purchase. And I would have purchased it if it didn't end to abruptly in literal noise.

I bought this product after expiration of the few minutes that the trial version allows before noise is introduced. My mistake was just listening to streaming music. That wasn't really time to evaluate in every scenario. I was interested because my hearing aids use bluetooth... but only to from my Android phone. I figured I could play videos of Zoom meetings on my Mac and airfoil there to push them to satellite for android and listen to them from my hearing aids, instead of putting on headphones. The sync time is pretty slow. Even after adjustment downwards, what people are saying on-screen runs about a second or two ahead of what I can hear on my hearing aids. It's disconcerting. If I'd had more time to try it, I probably wouldn't have purchased these, though it was only $31. They do what they say, but don't work as well as I'd hoped in my circumstance, and the trial should be a day, not minutes.

As a remote control for Airfoil for Windows this app does a superb job. Just install and launch - if the Windows PC is running then it will be automatically detected. No further setup necessary. I use this tool to re-connect my speakers when they disconnect from my Windows Airfoil. (They are a bit older so that does tend to happen.) So I really just use one tiny feature of this app, and at the same time I am incredibly happy to have it. It's a huge added value for me. Things that could make it even better: 1. Provide a widget for speaker control so that one does not need to open the app 2. Allow disabling the recognition of the android app as streaming client, so that it does not appear in my Airfoil for Windows list of devices. I have been using Airfoil for a few years now. Thanks for the great software and please keep up the good work.

Well, the thing is The android app connects with my macbook but the major problem resides in the poor audio synchronization, which has a delay of 2 seconds even after I opened it on debugging mode and set the local playback latency on negative values. Please fix that, because I do not want to spend money on an application with playback issues. Thanks.

It works well. However there is a considerable amount of latency. But for my use case (casting music from my macbook to my phone so I don't need to change where my headphones are plugged in) it's perfect. Just don't use it for watching videos or gaming cos of the latency.

Airfoil seems to works unconsistently on windows & android but better designed for Apple devices such as Mac computers & iPhone. If Airfoil is running and streaming from a networked computer send audio, the satellite app running on windows & android devices sometimes does not find the airfoil computer running Airfoil that is streaming audio. Apple devices do seem to find the appropriate streaming source. Windows running Airfoil Satellite seems more prone to crash even to the point of rebooting.

It stops playing when my screen cuts off. awesome concept and I wanna buy the program so I can listen to music on all my devices around the house on my bluetooth speakers, but if the screen has to stay on, what's the point?

I want this to work so badly. Stops playing/disconnects after a few minutes. It's Mac counterpart connects reasonably well with Bluetooth and Chromecast. Using a OnePlus 6T and Mac OS 10.13.6

I got the trial version and I mean it works, but there's like a 2 second lag between the source of the audio and when you actually hear it.

Watching disney plus and there is a big lag between sound and video. Also the trial last less than a day just for a few hours and then static plays.
