Doesn't work. I can see that my Garmin mini 2 dashcam has recorded clips, but this app doesn't allow me to do more than view a gallery of static thumbnails. Even while not in use it spams my network to the extent that I get the error message: "Drive is slowing down your Wi-Fi connection by repeatedly trying to connect in the background. Close Drive to speed up your Wi-Fi connection", which I've never seen before. Edit: Seriously, what is this app actually supposed to do? It's completely useless

I like this app, as it lets me interact w/my Garmin 66 dashcam. I'm still getting used to it. It often seems to balk at or lose the wireless connection between dashcam & phone. If I keep trying different things I can often fix this, but it's a mystery to me why it occurs at all. By connecting wirelessly I can transfer images/video I have saved to my phone. If it would connect easily & reliably, it'd be 5 stars from me.

Why isn't there an option to download more than one video at a time?! If you can do this on the older model using virb it, why isn't this function available on Garmin drive? Ridiculous omission. Why must be forced to edit each one before I download it?! Basic, basic functionality missing. This aggravates me so bad.

If I can give this app a negative star, I would do it. So shameful that a repectable company, as Garmin is, can come up with this disfunctional trash. The app is not able to send any saved location without mobile data, despite the fact that it has continuous BT connection with the GPS. Many areas do not have mobile data coverage, so this app is useless. Even if it has mobie data, US locations from Google Maps shared to Garmin Drive were sent to the GPS receiver as waypoints in Australia!

Great little dash cam! I've had a few others over the last 5 or so years, none as good as this. Ease of use, features, small size & video quality are exceptional. The app... so so. Slightly slow to connect and glitchy at times, when working it does its job. it's definitely convenient to be able to adjust settings and review recordings on a phone instead of a 1" screen! Plan on buying another for my 2nd vehicle.

Sucks. It won't connect to my Drive Smart 55, is blaming Android Web View, asking to update though it is, latest Android, good phone (OnePlus 7 Pro). So major features of the navigator cannot be used as I cannot connect it to my phone. Already cleared cache, storage, uninstalled, re installed. Are you serious? In 2021 and Android 11, you still not able to develop a steady stable app? Hire someone who can, just taking the piss of the buyers this way. Shame. Garmin doesn't even repply to critics

Edit: in addition to the slow transfer rate, the app fails to correctly sync my front and rear cameras when exporting. The rear was and entire minute off... The data transfer rate on the dashcam mini is frustratingly slow to the point of being useless. At best I am seeing transfer rates of 2.5Mbps... how can I download a file from the other side of the planet literally 300 times faster than this dashcam can send data 1ft to my phone?

If you drive a semi and use a Garmin, not a Rand, your drive is already easier. If you download this app and use it along w your Bluetooth, you just revolutionized your drive. No more sitting in 2 hour long delays due to accidents. Don't get a CB, get a Garmin and this app! You have to open the app, link your Garmin, then link this thing. Totally worth the 4 seconds it takes to do that! You rarely have to do that once you've used it consistently. After time away from your truck GPS, you do it

Never REALLY know when it's working which is strange, disconnects often, any traffic detours that you do end up using are usually way wrong and far out of the way. The longer the route then the more distorted any "time saved" really. I mean I guess it works though. Could be worse...it could be a paid app. I reroute my entire route from scratch several times a day, this may help... It may not help, but it makes me feel good so whatever.

Long time Garmin user, but lately lots of reliability issues., with multiple devices. Garmin customer service has really gone down hill... they used to be great. Make Garmin Great Again Garmin told me, they have found the root cause for Dash Cams issues 46/56&66w working with the Drive app, and will have a fix at the end of July 2021. Its now November 2021, Garmin Still working on it.. I ask them if they check application feedback.. I was told...we don’t pay attention to it.. 😥
