When it works, it is pretty great but it has been sketchy more than once. Right now iTunes cannot be added as a service on a Droid or an an iPhone that is uses a different Apple ID. I'm sure they'll have it fixed soon but it's just one of the many quirks I've had to deal with. Nothing sounds like a Sonos so I put up with it. 2 stars for the app, 5 stars for the equipment.

Terrible integration with Spotify. This app has always seemed to struggle with skips for songs, but now more often than not, it produces an error about song or media to not be played. I should be able to go to the next or previous song without having these issues. I hate that I have to use this app and cannot directly use Spotify on my system.

Most of the time it can't find my speaker. When it does the controls are abysmal. I can't search for things on Spotify and have no interest in Sonos Radio. Tonight the app told me to sign in to use new features (I already was) and the sign in button did nothing. Then the app told me it needed an update, but Google Play says it's up to date. So I can't do anything - the app won't even let me in because it thinks there's an update that isn't there. Really regretting this purchase.

I can no longer control my system due to the update failing to load. It gets to 90 something percent then says it can't update and to check later. This even though I deleted useful apps that I thought were taking up space. Then it STILL doesn't work. Really frustrating and disappointing. I can't play anything and haven't been able to for months now. What a waste.

I used to like Sonos. The speakers sound great when they play music. Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore. I spent hours getting them to work after an update a while ago. Now they will not respond to the app again. It is very frustrating. I may replace my system someday, but not with Sonos. This system is only for those who like to endlessly fiddle with updates, search websites, and read forums to learn how to fix something that previously worked perfectly.

I'm not sure what's going on but I'm not able to update this app!! It's stopped playing music in the middle of the song and said I had to update but won't let me! If Sonos could actually find music everyone wanted to listen to I think this would be great but you can't put artist in because it always comes up blank. This app needs to be more accessible to the wide range of music that everyone wants to listen too. I shouldn't have to sync Pandora to listen to your speaker!!

A sub par app. Too complicated in a world where others have made things so much easier. - What is an EQ without at least a mid range adjustment. Why not have several options? - Connection only using the app?!? What's wrong with being and to do everything thru blue tooth connection? -Can only play music if it's connected they the app. Who thought this was a genius idea?!? Can't play other app music not listed.

I am truly sorry I invested so much money into a system that has no remote control except for an app. If I want to use my system I have to go thru Alexa. What really shocks me is the total disregard by Sonos of all the complaints. You can send me ads but you cannot communicate anything at all about this issue? Do you not care about your customers once you have our money? Shame on you! Shame!

The previous version really worked better overall for me. All my speakers are compatible with new version, but soundbar will have a mind of its own sometimes. I also have a hard time switching speakers, like if I want only one room on or getting all speakers on at once. Freezes....won't pause or control volume. Latest update sucks....terrible. Wouldn't update, so uninstalled and reinstalled; now app will not open and stays on my screen even when swiping left right.

This app is a nightmare . You pay for a premium speaker system and this app is developed horrendously. There are features such as YouTube music that are available but you cannot connect. 90% of the time crashes freezes or needs an update that locks you out of the App. I am currently locked out of the app because I need to update however there is no update available from sonos. Re-installing did not fix either. SONOS we expect a better app experience from a premium speaker company.
