    It is great for 1/2 price drinks and finally has most menu items. However, it is buggy particularly when going from home or office wifi to cellular (or so it seems). I can always place orders. Checking in at the store sometimes works and many times leaves you looking at a spinning wheel and unable to check in or even exit the app. I found if I close all apps it will close but then you still can't check in. Today, I had to restart the whole phone because it said I was offline.

    Very good application. I like ordering from my phone. I would like an option to pay cash when I arrive instead of always charging my card. Initially I gave the app 5 stars but I experienced a problem. It wouldn't let me place an order while sitting in Sonic's parking lot an 1 hour before close. Why didn't I order at the kiosk? The app offered discounts that the store wasn't offering. I wanted the deal. So I left. Not happy.

    I would love this app if it would just be able to keep my account from getting hacked and my payment information from getting stolen. Had happened a few times to me. Wish until the app becomes more secure we could order in the app and pay when we get our food. I was buying 1/2 priced route 44s and food here almost daily. Not anymore. Wish I could I really miss em and it's really sad to see the app only specials and not be able to get them. Sad so sad. 😥

    I like the convince of ordering ahead and having my daily ice tea or food I order ready when I arrive. My issue is there are so many glitches. Sometime my app won't load, kicks me out, earlier said I was offline (which I ordered my tea that morning.) Not being able to reload my card from the app is a pain. Not all good is on the app etc. Would really like to see it be updated and properly working. Been using it for almost 4 years.

    After the update 9/21 and I reset my password again, I am able to log back in. Use to work fine and used it all the time but now I can't login. My wife tried it on her phone and the same issue. Changed my password still not able to login. Uninstalled and reinstalled app and still not able to login. Would have used the app today but couldn't get logged in. So you basically just lost money because the app isn't working.

    This app does not work! I have called about the problems I have experienced. The best resolution has been to uninstall and re-install. Good luck trying to login to your account! Constant problems with resetting password, ordering at the location or paying in drive thru. Sonic, please find a solution.

    This app sucks! I have three gift cards I can't use, because when I place the order, it tells me the order has been updated and to resubmit. The order hasn't changed (nor should it), and resubmitting just brings up that same message again. The managers tell me they have nothing to do with the app, call customer service. They can't help me, either, and are often rude, as well. I tried to get my money back from the cards, and CS says I can't! Finally, I'm told, call Heritage. Can't connect. Busy.

    Love the app but one of my fave menu items are not an option on the app (croissant sandwich). Also can't personalize slushes, I like a peach mango slush but there is no option to make this. If you are going to have an app with menu should have all the options that you can order at the restaurant, otherwise not everyone can get the same deals the app provides.

    Unable to sign in, even after a password reset. I couldn't even install the app on my previous smart phone, but wanted to try it on my new one as it looked appealing. Unfortunately, every time I try to sign in I get an error saying "please try again later," which makes it impossible to use the app or check out with my order. An app that doesn't work is entirely useless, so I can only give it one star. I hope it works for others.

    I've used the sonic app for months, and have enjoyed it almost every time. However, ever since I've gotten a new phone, it refuses to log me in, and what's worse, every time I've submitted a password reset, I've gotten a "your password has been leaked" message. The app was also glitching at the bottom of my screen every time I scrolled down the menu.

    Wish I could rate 0 stars. Can't get signed in no matter what I try. Attempted to reset my password several times and create accounts with different email addresses but get a message saying "There was an error. Please try again". Even tried using the Facebook option (definitely NOT ideal) but, of course, it said an account already existed with that email address.

    Usually works fine, except for occasionally when it's really bad. Friends and I have ordered shakes/ slushes/ ice cream online, only to get to the store and be told the machine is broken, and they can't give us a refund because we ordered through the app. There needs to be some way to either show that it's unavailable, or let the store give us a refund when we don't get what we paid for.

    This app used to be very good unfortunately it kicked my entire profile out and wouldn't allow me to restart it. I then had to use a different email to be able to use it. Now it is saying my cards are declined. I thought it may have something to do with my phone so we used my daughter's phone and it did the exact same as hers. And let's not forget the glitches that happened back in June where my order was sent to the wrong location. I still have NOT gotten my refund on that one!

    It's an alright app. Loading time for the subtotal takes forever, sometimes to the point where I have to power off my phone and turn it back on for it to work. Another thing I don't like is when you get to the Sonic, there's no way to notify them that you're there once you exit out the app. You basically have to keep the app up to input the stall number whenever you arrive. Navigation is easy though and I like the fact that it let's you know of rewards and such.

    Not sure if it's just because I'm using Android 10 or if it's MIUI's fault, but it keeps crashing from the moment I open the app. I'm using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, and I've heard a lot of bad things come from MIUI Optimization, so I disabled that with still no luck. I thought maybe it was incompatibility with Android Q, but I can't find anyone else's FAQ or reviews that can duplicate the problem and I'm sure with the hype of Android 10 there are other people that use Sonic on Android 10.

    Good app overall. Wish it could be in sync with the Sonic you're getting food at. Hate finding out that they are out of an item. They offer a substitute but sometimes I just want the refund.. which is hard to get because you have to call some corporate number to get it. Seems like an unnecessary hassle.

    The app only worked one time. When I contacted customer support and waited 30 minutes she couldn't help. I was sent a response to use correct password. I know my password and had done EVERYTHING on my end to fix. Awful customer service!!! Good luck if you use it!!!

    this is an ok app. I have had a few minor glitches when using the app. Sometimes it will process my order but wont let me check in when I arrive. It also hangs up when processing your order and takes forever to get your total. Not really a big deal. Have to turn phone off and back on to get it to work. It seems to hang up more after using the app for a while.

    So once you complete your order, you have to select indoor pick-up if available, or entera stall number. Well, I didn't know if the location had indoor pick-up "if available" pre-covid, and if they did, I didn't know if it's available now. So I pulled into a stall, no numbers. So I entered 1 and parked by the door where the servers go in and out and let them know. 1 and done ordering on the app. DELETED

    Very often the app has problems with checkout, and checking in. You have to restart the app almost every time it's used. It's fair to note that this seems to be a problem with the older Sonic locations, as college town locations in rural states have their app function normally. That being said, i can almost always get my order to work, it just takes lots of troubleshooting.

    Just installed the app. There are only two (!) options to sign in - Facebook or email. Trying to sign in with Facebook, it says "This account already exists". Trying with email, it says "There was an error. Please try again". My wife convinced me to stop by at Sonic. This company was about to get a new customer, and the CIO failed it. Will stay away.

    Used to LOVE the convenience of the app. For the last month every time I try to pay regardless of what card, what bank, the app says "card declined" every time I check out. I turn my phone on and off, unload and reload the app, delete and reupdate payment methods, nothing works. Tech support doesn't acknowledge the issue and just keeps telling me to contact my bank. Ignores the details I give them about trying multiple banks, payment methods, etc. Wish they would fix it, stop blaming the banks.

    Horrible app. I used it in IL, over 2 years ago, and was required to use a Sonic GC. So, I did. Then, the app would not let me log in to use the $7 balance. So, I no longer used it. Then, about 4 weeks ago I decided to try again because we kept visiting Sonic. I wanted to take advantage of the discounts. I still couldn't log in on my account, so we created a new one with my husband's info. Everything was great for 2 orders. Then the app kept telling us our CC was declined, no matter what card w

    Terrible app. I have tried to set up an account multiple times, and every time I do it says I already have one. When I try to log in, it always says there is an error. I have changed my password over many times on many occasions. The app has not worked once. I would not recommend wasting your time.

    I have used the mobile order twice to grab something on my way to work. When I arrive and check in on the app, it tells me I need to go to a location that accepts mobile orders, even though I have used mobile order many times before. Now I have to go through the trouble of submitting a refund request because, even though they can't get my food, they don't hesitate to charge my card anyway.

    I used to love this app... Until recently. Someone hacked my account and bought a Sonic gift card with the payment saved to the app. Sonic wouldn't stand by their security and refund my money! I removed my card and changed my password. Now, whenever I try to make a purchase on the app it says "card declined". I've tried four cards and get the same message every time. (Yes, there's money available on all the cards.) Another call to customer service and no solution. Very disappointed.

    Worst app and waste of time. It always declines payment but yet takes from account. The people at the actual establishment can't even access it to help. It gets your hopes up for half price drinks and promotional opportunities and doesn't provide. Actually it makes it to where the actual establishment has to make up for the apps inability to provide.

    After they updated the app I lost the ability to combine my very small remaining balances. Now I've maxed out with 5 gift cards with balances under $1.60. The app won't let me delete the gift cards that have a positive balance - which is all 5 of them. Based on other reviews I refuse to associate my bank account with this app. So it's no longer possible for me to use this app.

    The most unstable app on the store. I cannot count how many times since I installed this that I have decided to not go to sonic because the app stalls and spins when I go to check out or it doesn't show my nearest location on possible pick up sites I would have to drive for 5 additional miles to utilize. They would spend more time fixing the app instead of pushing ads it might be worth something.

    Just today I used the app to order food and it says my card was declined, yet it still took the money out of my account. About 6-10 mins later I got my money back, so I try another card and the exact same thing happens declined but still takes the money. Really don't know what's going on but I think y'all need to look into this. Until the 1 star!!

    I loved this app... until this last update. It now tells me my location has changed and I need to go to a Sonic location- while I'm sitting in a stall at my Sonic. If I try to check end after hitting check in it just spins and never checks in. This is at the same location I've used this app with for over a year. And, I have location services on. I end up pushing the red button to tell them the order I placed in the app AND already paid for. Why use the app at all if I have to call them anyway?

    This app has been garbage since the end of August. Every time I try to pay for an order the app says my card is declined, yet the money is deducted from my account. Granted it is refunded back in a 1 to 5 minute window. I have uninstalled & reinstalled the app several times within the month just to get the same result, the most recent was 10 minutes ago. I contacted Sonic & all they could offer was an apology & that they don't know what's wrong with the app, but the developers are working on it.

    Works about half the time. It keeps telling me that I am offline when I am not. It won't get the total and let me submit the order. I have to dump the app, re download, and restart phone. Some menu items are not on the app. For instance chicken wraps. And you don't have the option to add ice cream to a slush

    Three things to add for three more stars: * Add an option to pay with cash (at least if you're already at the restaurant). * Allow orders later (instead of preventing them for the hour before closing). * Actually address issues sent to your customer support team instead of only sending an automated response.

    Great... when it works. When it works it's nice and convenient. More than half the time though you get all the way through fixing up your order only for you to get to the final payment step and it say "Something's not right" and not allow you to place the order. No amount of closing the app and restarting or uninstalling and re-installing seems to help at all. Not worth the hassle for now

    The app worked fine at first. Then it stopped working on a friend's phone, saying 'no connection' despite having full bars. Next trip it started telling him there were no Sonics in our area. I said I'd order, but when I tried, MY app started screwing up, throwing a message screen up saying 'location was updated' and we're 'out of supported area'. It hasn't worked since, despite reinstalling. It still claims we're 'out of supported area' for the Sonic we'd always used. Completely useless app!

    This app will automatically add a half price happy hour drinks discount to any existing order placed during certain times. There is no way to order a drink without the half price discount, even when you are trying to use another discount. The app does not allow you to combine discounts - it will give an error that says the order has been adjusted, but the order is not adjusted and you get locked out of placing your order. Customer service was not helpful

    The app is great when it actually works. Only about 30% off the time am I able to complete/pick up order with ease. The majority of the time it times out and/or says "you are offline" after the order has been placed and my card is charged. Not completely as convenient as it should be.

    The app used to be fantastic. I could order, reload my sonic cards, and had no issues. Now I'm lucky if the app doesn't tell me offline, even when I'm on wifi, and I'm not able to reload my cards. I've been having to buy new ones at the store. The tech department was not helpful either. They just told me it should be there, even though I supplied screenshots.

    It didn't work! The speed was snappy initially. I was able to navigate the menu. However, some choices were not available, such as "slushing" my Tea. You can't see prices when you choose items. At check out, you choose a location, and THEN it is supposed to show you the prices. It just spun & spun for about 5 mins. I restarted the app 2 or 3 more times, with the same result. I gave up. I never successfully viewed the prices nor was I ever able to checkout. This will be Uninstalled.

    So like everyone else is saying it doesn't always work, huge downside! The upside is half-price drinks.. and occasional specials. for me the reason I use it most of the time is I don't have to wait as long when I get there in fact sometimes I have heard them say they can't take orders because they are so backed up but my order comes out in no time at all, at least in comparison. half the time I can't check in though I have to push the button and tell them I have a mobile order because it won't let me check in.. and that's only when it's working.. sometimes I have to turn my phone on and off and restart the app just to get an order in :-( I still use it because of the wait.. and the discounts but it'd be nice if they actually fix it.

    Like many on here in the last month or last update the app won't work at all. Says all my cards decline even went to the store and use that same "declined" card. Yet guess what it worked with no issues so no not the card issuers. Its 100% on the app and they need to fixed this asap. Lucky for me the sonic I go to informed me if I still want half priced drinks go before 10am and just the large size will be honored.

    This app is good for one thing, half price drinks but even then not all options are available like big red and all slush flavors. Now it's saying it declined all my cards but then I get an email that I was charged and it won't let me check in. This is 3x this happened already. Needs more flavor options for slush and add all drinks to the menu and all real fruits. And fix the bugs that makes it decline cards but get charged and just can't check in. It's so frustrating.

    Horrible. It charges my card and then says my card was declined. Every single time. Card wasn't declined, transaction shows on account immediately, order never goes through. But my coupon/rewards shows it was used. And I cant use it ever again. Store won't honor coupon because it doesnt come through to them. It's so annoying and pathetic.

    I used this app often to order drinks and food. The checkout aspect has always been iffy but I worked with it. Now, I am unable to log in. Continuously says error. No need to continue using the app if I cannot log in. That's unfortunate cause it makes going to sonic so convenient. I'll still go, just no app. 😔

    One of the few apps that does NOT allow you to reload your card. You have to buy a new card, leaving you with cards with miscellaneous small amounts. This didn't use to be the case, but apparently the new "improved " app changed this convenience.

    Half the time it doesn't want to load, and their ridiculous on the rewards. They don't do it based on how much you spend like most places and you're lucky to get a reward once a month! And it's not a variety to choose from, it's whatevers promoted that month(so you'll love it and come back and pay full price later for it) or whatever isn't selling good! It's a joke compared to every other app I've used!! I gave one star for the fact that when it works you get your drinks 1/2 off all the time.

    The experience I've had with this app over the time span of 2 months has been great. Adding a payment method is seamless, and the rewards system is a plus. Ordering items is an effortless experience, but one suggestion I would have is for a "notes" section to be added under every menu item. This would allow for far greater item customization experience. Limiting the characters available in the notes section would be useful in preventing this section from being used for complaints.

    I had used the Sonic Application numerous times, but will never use the application nor visit the local restaurant again. The last 3 times I had tried to use the Sonic Application it either didn't work or would not work to register my arrival and input my "stall" #. The last visit was to get 2 Pretzel Twists @ $1.00 each. However, since the application wouldn't work (again), I was charged $1.99 each. I always get Rt44 drinks @ half price, but I'm unsure if I even got the discount, since the Sonic Application did NOT work. PS The menu board card reader didn't work either, & the car-hop had to take my card inside to pay for the 2 Drinks & 2 Pretzel Twists. I have deleted the worthless application & never plan to darken your doors again.

    The app is good but not quite "there" yet. Not everything on the menu is available in the app and some drinks that have various customizations aren't exactly customizable in every way just yet. Overall great app just need a real consumer to help tweak it to perfection.

    Decent app, but terrible decisions by Sonic which disadvantage the customer. Taking away pricing visibility during ordering in the app is a terrible UX choice, as is eliminating customizations that restaurants usually offer. Sonic's competitors usually incentivize customers to use their apps by offering special perks / deals. Sonic however has chosen to discontinue all deals, *except* to customers who will use the app - including deals that used to be always available on a certain day or time.

    Great! When it works. Twice now this app has just refused to let me in. It tells me the email/ password (that I've been using all along) is invalid. When I try to change my password, it never sends the link. Support is ZERO help. Last time I gave up and just made a whole new account with my work email. This time, after days of trying to fix it, I resurrected an old email and created yet another new account. It's so frustrating. If the half price drink thing goes away, I'll probably uninstall

    It worked perfectly up until a week ago. Now it wont start. I tried clearing cache, defaults, permissions, nothing works. Now trying to uninstall an reinstall but i doubt it will fix it when I cleared ALL data and it still wouldnt run... Im on android redmi note 8 pro, plenty of space, stable fiber internet, ands updated software... So its not on my end. I even tried starting with location and bluetooth on and off- no change. I NOW have even tried completely re-installing. Wont run or open.

    Trouble connecting with app. More often then not the app will not be able to connect. This is not a problem with other apps that I may be using at same time. And many times even if it does connect the app will sit and spin when trying to check out so it is easier to either: a) Go somewhere else or b) just order at store, but then don't usually get online discounts.

    I'm tired of the app declining my card for no real reason other that the app is messing up. There's no way to pay when you get to the location but I'm really tired of this and when theres a monthly promotion i try and order it and it just takes it away saying it's not a valid promo.

    App worked fine for a couple months but then today it started declining my credit card even though i could still pay via the stall credit card reader and the charge showed up as pending on my credit card app. It worked all day the 23rd and then half of the 24th... stopped working last night and wasnt working this morning. :-/ i only use the app for my 1/2 price drinks.

    it's good when it works. I'm constantly having to clear the cache because I get stuck on a blank screen with some sort of connection problem mentioned at the bottom of screen. it's also weird that it mentions I can get a drink half off if I order in app after I add it to my order. like yeah, that's already been mentioned when looking through drinks.

    This app allows fraudulent activity. My account got hacked. The steps to change the password were buried in an FAQ section, which required logging out and hitting a "Forgot Password" prompt. Then, once the account password was changed on one device, it did not force a logout on all devices and I could still place an order on a connected device that never logged out without re-entering the new password. So the app forced me, the rightful owner, to log out in order to change the password, but is not forcing the fraudulent user to log back in using the new password.

    App is convenient, quick, and everything works as it should. I suggest a way for DEV to incorporate in-app pop ups when you cannot make an action. Ex. If you have not selected a location, you can create an order but the arrow button to proceed to checkout will be disabled. A quick popop reminder of what is required details are missing will close the window on operator error.

    I really liked the app but why advertise it and push it when you have restaurants(with signs telling customers to GET the app) that don't accept it. And if they don't accept it, why not still offer the discount for half price drinks in person if the customer can prove they have the app. Very disappointed . When there are so many options, I would expect businesses to make an effort to at least acknowledge their own promotions.

    Seems to do a good job of ordering. Although I feel like it takes too many steps to complete an order what's up missing something. Also when arriving the two times I have used it it does not recognize the order when I arrive. Both times I have had to push the button in the drive-up menu and speak with someone to let them know I had pre-ordered. Both times it did have my order completed when I arrived and talked with someone.

    When it works, it is fine. However, it routinely gets stuck at loading screens when logging in and when trying to pay. In order to make a change, you have to delete the item you added and start over. The restaurants rarely pay attention to the timing of the order that comes through and either ignore it until you get there then put you in line behind everyone else or make it right away even though you put in a time delay of 30 minutes or whatever.

    Best food app I have used. Logically laid out, easy to use, and customizations are also very easy (unlike Subway). Also comes with huge benefits like being able to order ahead of your arrival (unlike McDs) skipping the line and half priced drinks via the app (unlike everybody else). It's awesome that you can order ahead, and get in and out with hot food. Other apps I have used my food got cold while I waited in the drive-thru line. These guys got it right!

If you can't get an app to work you need to go back to website ordering. It takes too long to eat there if you can't order ahead. No lunch break Sonic for our place of employment until we get a working app.

    As of mid August, the app has automatically signed me out and I have not been able to sign back in with my email, Facebook, or through Apple on any device I use. I've tried reinstalling the app and even requested to change my password, but when I attempt to login anyway or accept my password change, every time it says, "There was an error. Please try again." Fix this Sonic!

    Wifi? Why?? I've been using the app very regularly since Covid. It's been working perfectly until I did the update. Now, it won't work unless wifi is on. Why? I turned off wifi to conserve battery. Ordering ahead is about expediting your order. Who wants to have to go through even more steps? I have trouble seeing this as anything but self serving. Oh and now I realize the check in didn't work, even though I didn't turn off my wifi until after checking in. Developers are so self serving.

    Awesome App. Couldn't ask for anything more. Has all the features anyone could ask for. Love the 1/2 price drinks you get by ordering with the App. Remembers your last order and makes reordering as simple as pushing one button. We just had my local Sonic open about 6 months ago. The drive-thru wait is always between 30-60 minutes (and that was before Covid shut down inside dining). Now I place my order with the App tell them what time I'll be there and my order is ready when I get there.

    App usually DOES NOT WORK - I order ahead of time and then when I try to check in it just spins and spins. Have to restart phone to get out of the app. I use other fast food apps all the time and rarely have a problem. Usually when I open the app is says "You are offline" when I'm using other online functions/apps.

    You can't add any extra other soda. (I.e it only allows me to add powerade, to my orginal drink rather than something else; granted it says hold for more options, maybe i want to add sprite) The point of Sonic is to have and mix the drink to your liking. Also with droids or just the galaxy S series, you may have to re-download it, b/c the very first time i wasnt able to order anything or use my coupons. My feedback would be to add more options, have a favorite(s) & have comment section.

The only thing (which is totally just me being picky with my consumptions) is when I'm able to see if certain limited items are still available while supplies last, even though it no longer is advertised or appears on screen. Then I would need to order as im at the location & if was a promo, would I still be able to get it for that price...

    This is a very good app I only have one problem with it. It doesn't work in override dark mode. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and I use override dark mode to put all my apps in dark mode even if they do not support it. I have all most 300 apps on my phone and this is the only one it doesn't work on. If you could fix this problem, this would be a great app.

I have been using the app for about 3+ months and have had no issues with the app at all. Not in performance, ease of use, etc. Really enjoy the order ahead option, especially if they have a drive thru. 😊👍

    Recently the app stalls upon check-in. After typing in the strap number, a red circle appears with the word, "loading." On another occasion, I rebooted just prior to placing the order and checking in, but it stalled again at check-in. Normally, the app works great.

    I use this app more often than I would like to admit but the UI of this app makes it easy to use experience compared to other restaurant apps. The amount of customization is superb. Other apps don't seem to even compare to this one sometimes. On the opposite side sometimes there is downtime and it takes forever for things to load when it happens but that is a very seldom occurrence. Overall, I think other company's should take inspiration from this app.

    Literally has not worked once. I've tried three different locations, two different devices, both methods of using it as payment (selecting pay with app at the stall and ordering through the app directly). Every time I get timed out, or some other error. One time it even gave me an error then took me to a blank order confirmed screen despite not putting in my order. The only thing that's worked at all is the ability to pay money onto a digital gift card I can't use.

    Like some of these other reviews state. Its nice when the app works but when you're busy and don't have time to mess with the app and all it does is keep "loading" after you put the items in the bag and you can't check out it is VERY inconvenient. I used the app when it first came out and i was disappointed with them practically forcing you to buy a gift card. That was fixed. Now i cant make a simple order without just driving to sonic and pushing the button. Just dumb.

    I repeatedly restart it and have tried uninstalling it and it still acts like you need wifi to place an order a good 50-75% of the time. It will eventually work on the cell service, but takes several times and several minutes to order. I have 5g service. All other apps work perfectly. And it still won't let me order. It keeps happening more frequently too. Used to work perfect. Going downhill now smh but as much as I get sonic the deals are worth it.

    It's a nice app. Half price drinks and slushies, but it would be nice to earn actual rewards. We spend more money at SONIC than anywhere else and a few dollars off every so often or a free any size drink after purchasing X amount of drinks would be great, instead of one or two random rewards that we might not use.

I'm not sure if i will get back the $40 they stole from me. Also the store you order from has no control over the app and can not help you or refund your stolen money.

    Terrible! I guess I won't be going to Sonic any longer! App either says it's offline or sticks at "loading" page after selecting your food so your order never goes through. Tried to add a new credit card but it won't save it. Just keeps saying to try back later. I wonder if Sonic knows how much business they are losing (read other reviews!) I think I will give their corporate office a call. Time to get a new app developer, Sonic! This thing SUCKS.

    Very cool and everything, but... when you order ahead and after you choose the pick up time, It will ask you to check in when on site. If you close the app there is no way of doing it. Ill click the menu button when i get there to let the employees know and they assist you super quick. But i mean, that's not how it's supposed to work. Also, no prices in the menu. Aside from this app works fine in my samsung 20 s plus

I opened the app to place an order to find I'd been logged out, and when i tried to log back in i received a notification that my password had been found on a list.     When it works it's great! I have problems when starting an order and coming back to it later. App thinks it's offline. Requires a phone reboot to clear up. Recently it's been getting stuck on checking prices and details. Today was the first day the app wouldn't get all the way through an order. Had to go old school. 😭

But I've had times when it refused to connect and take an order, many times I get to Sonic and the app freezes when I'm trying to check in with my stall #, and today at 4:50 I set my pick up time as 5:10 but after placing the order it displayed my pick time as 4:10! Add in the fact that it sometimes doesn't show the special deal of the day and this app is very frustrating!

    Multiple issues with this app. From having to put what stall your at more than 3 times when you arrive to the lastest one which just happened today. My card got charged twice called the customer care number and the person couldn't tell me why it got charged twice. So that's the gamble you will have to take. I would check my pending orders as soon as you place a order with this app. And no it's not my phone I have the latest Android 10 brand new phone. Come at me with another excuse.

    I have had problems with the app at at least 4 Sonics. It won't let you check out. I just drove to my local Sonic and told the girl it would not work and she informed me that it cuts off 1 hour before closing. I asked if I could still get my large coke 1/2 off and she told me no. I think you should put something on the app that tells that. I think I will just go to McDonalds from now on. There drinks are 1.00 all of the time. This is just not worth the trouble.

At Sonic, and on their screen I chose, "Pay With App." Screen says to open app and enter my stall #.     Fast, convenient and easy to use. The main thing I really don't like about it is that you can't order everything in the app. Like if you order a footlong coney it doesn't give you the option to add slaw, you can't order orange juice, etc. Would be nice if the entire menu was represented.

    I had to try the app to five times to try to set up payment. I ended up using a 3rd party vendor for payment and now it works okay. However the stores are often temporarily unavailable so I end up paying full price at the drive-in instead of using the app to save on my half price drinks. And if I can't pre-order the food then we're still sweltering in a 100 degree heat waiting. Use the app with caution.

    I like the app for its convenience. However, they need to match menu items based on what location you are set to. There are a few items I cannot order over the app. Also, this app does not work well with VPNs. When I get to the location I sent my order to, I have to close the app out and reopen it before it will take my stall number.

    I have received texts from sonic for a few years now. Never had any issues. Always worked smoothly. This app is hot garbage. Half the time it doesn't take the applicable promo code and making special orders is inconvenient and not all options for substitutions or special orders are available. I hate this app and I hate the fact that you can no longer get deals through text. Even though the tests come through, they are all dependent upon using the awful app.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. This app is useless, a single bug in the app derailed our entire order. I would not recommend this app to anyone for this reason. I had bad connection, and the checkout screen wouldnt load. So I figured i'd try backing out and hitting checkout again. Except once I backed out, the checkout button turned grey, and was unusable. 0 Stars. Fix your app.

    The worst. I put the app an order in 5 times kept giving error try again. Sonic use to be the best. They got the drinks wrong. The 1 burger hardly had any thing on it. The buns were hard & the onion rings were burnt. This Started going down when you changed brand of hamburger buns. The Woodlands TX on I-45 has gone down really bad. Who ever is doing the cooking sucks. You can never leave without opening the order to be sure its right & usually somethings not right. Giving the place up.

I drove to the closest Sonic - 20 minutes away, added my item, added my credit card (which I planned on removing after placing my order), applied the offer and hit the checkout button. Then, received an error that my account was deactivated. I called customer service & they were awful too. Never got my order

Previous post-Loses links frequently, does not allow you to further customize drinks like unsweetened tea with a splash of sweet or half cut. Picks wrong locations even after allowing location.     The app is extremely glitchy and often does not work. I keep getting error messages when trying to pay or it freezes. My internet speed is not the issue, as I have checked. I sometimes have to force quit or even reinstall. Problem is I have to use app to order for promos, and that is extremely frustrating.

    Terrible. It never works properly! Sometimes I can't place an order. The few times I have been able to, I can't check in when I'm at the location. Most of the time says I'm offline even though I have service/WiFi. One time the order "didn't go through" but they still charged me (I had to call CS for a refund). There's just so many issues that need to be fixed. It would be a great app without all the glitches.

    Terrible since last update. Location services insist that is off as soon as I check into Sonic while I'm at the stall of Sonic where order is. Often states offline even tho on wifi. Takes 2-3 attempts to place order. I have uninstalled/reinstalled app 2x, restarted phone, etc. All my other apps work. Also sucks that stores can't honor app prices if customer shows prove on the app. Althou I doubt it hurts Sonic's profits, I don't plan on returning.

    You can order and pay ahead of time and you get your order shortly after arriving. You don't have to roll down your window until your order arrives, losing valuable heat/cool air. Or even have to hear the annoying people next to you. It's a great app to have!

The problem is all the cards have a balance of between $.21 an $.44 and it will not let you delete a card that has a balance. I’d love to transfer the balances to one card but have not found a way to do a transfer.

    Downloaded the app and after trying to place my first order, it stayed on the "Getting Prices & Total" loading screen for nearly 30 minutes before I finally gave up. (I was connected to WiFi and even tried it running on my data, no luck). Closed the app and tried to reorder a few times, but it won't get past that loading screen. Please fix this; my mom has used this app for forever and always spoke highly of it.

    App works sometimes. But it does not provide the deals as described in it's advertisement in the app. Example: Ice coffee/French Vanilla or Regular LARGE size during morning, $1.49. But when you attempt to submit order it's regular price and the locations will not honor it for whatever reason. Clearly a glitch on the part of SONIC app. But otherwise, app works okay -- mostly.

After going throigh the trouble of finding a location 9 times out of 10 it won't provess the payment. Sorry Sonic fix your app I refuse to pay full price for drinks.

    Spent 20 minutes just trying to log in. When that didn't work we called the store and was told that none of the app promos could be honored. Then we were told that we couldn't even order because the ice cream machine was down. So over it. Back to Dairy Queen I guess.

    I love Sonic drinks and half price all day long through the app is a money saver. It's a bonus to be able to order without touching the menu button! You can never be too careful during the uncertainty of the times, in 2020!

    Everytime I try to use the app it gets me to the getting your total part and it wont load then it sends me a message that there was an error and to try again but when I try again it just does the same thing! Super frustrated because I cant get my drinks and shake at the half off price because I have to order at sonic instead of being able to order through the app, not happy!

    Poor app. Half the time it does not work. They charge you twice and it is impossible to get anyone to refund you additional payment. Watch very careful that you are ordering from the sonic store you want to order from because it does not let you ser a store and keep it. It automatically changes it to what is the closes store. The metal roof over the stalls often blocks the cell phone service making it impossible to check in. The stall numbers are only numbered on the order screen.

    You just lost a customer! The app is flaking out on username and password. The ridiculous part is that you can't even log onto a computer and confirm as Sonic HAS DONE AWAY with the ability to use the MySonic app on a desktop. Since I keep getting the same error whether I uninstall the app or not, there's other burger joints I can go to that their app works.

    Works okay most of the time but occasionally it won't let me order, just says "oops something went wrong" resetting the app doesn't fix it. When that happens I just assume it means I don't need any junk food.

    I've had too many problems to count. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. It's forever saying the payment was declined, even when multiple cards are attempted. It's extremely annoying

    8212020....did it to me again. Cant get logged back in. Tried facebook again still no. This app has used all my emails and Facebook and continues to stop working. Uninstalling After using the app for several months it logs me out and doesn't let me log back in. It says unexpected error. So frustrating. Would give 5 stars If this hadn't happened more then once.

    Fast, efficient. Rewards for ordering on the app, able to customize and see your order. Best way to order when your schedule is tight. 9/6/20...i used to love this app. Now every time I try to use it it says offline. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still says offline. Very frustrating 😕 now just 1 star 🌟

    My only complaint so far is you dont have certain items in your app menu. For example I would like to order a grape cream slushie or a Chicago dog and I wouldn't be able to order that through the app. If this is something you could fix I would definitely give you guys a higher rating.

    I like the deals and coupons but I don't feel like the app gives me all the possible drink combination options there are. There are only like 5 base slushie options and surely there are more. The main things I see missing are pineapple, strawberry limeade, as well as I don't have all the options to create a "pink lady" (Sprite, cherry/strawberry, & a splash of vanilla cream). I don't believe the flavor orange is listed. For a place that prides itself on its many drink options this app lacks.

    This app is absolutely terrible. My boyfriends card gets declined when theres plenty of money, thats IF the order even gets to the check out screen. Ive had to call customer service because I got charged and the app never put through the order and just gave an error message. Not to mention the numerous times we arrive at our location, try to check into a stall, and it tells us "oops there was a problem" on the stall screen. I dont usually do this, but this app needs so much work.

    The app is so easy to use, we love it! With us having kids in the car, that are loud and always singing, the app makes it easy to order! 🖤 And the tip option was also a good idea!

    Nice app. My only complaint is that if you order something that happens to be out of stock or if the ice cream machine is down, there is no way to get a refund. They offer substitutes as compensation but there should be a button for the store to push that automatically refunds.

    I love it, saves time and money. Only thing I would change, is to add some of the non listed items such as the BLT and the Chicken Wrap. Those are my 2 favorite things and they aren't on the menu.

    Lots of glitches - that I see on the reviews others experience as well. Also I wish you could personalize more items. We love Sonic and half priced drink through app ordering, this app could be great but need some fixes to get there.

    Omg!!! 99% of the time my card gets declined. Tried paypal, debit, and credit card. Super irritating when theres MOBILE only deals and i cant use it cause app wont work. Ps. No im not $0 in account Days later still no success. Made a new account and used my friends info and CC and it gets declined.

    Works great for ordering ahead of time and paying electronically. However, I often times struggle to check-in with the app; requiring one or more app restarts before it processes. Other than that, I've enjoyed using the app.

    Literally every fast food app should copy this layout. It's incredibly easy to understand, intuitive, and the extra flourishes of color and animation make this app not a drab to navigate while I endlessly search for some food that could potentially fill the void in my life left by a lack of purpose and uncertainty for the future. Also, half price drinks all day kicks ass!

    I love using the app to order food. I often get gift cards that I attach to the app. What I don't like is that I can't use multiple gift cards to pay for my order. I know you can use a credit card to pay the difference, but why can't I use multiple cards to pay for food? I end up with a few cards that have small balances that could pay for an order but instead have to use my card for the difference.

    I have no problem placing orders. However when I drive to the store and try to check in I always get an error message saying that my location has changed. Of course it has, it's like it doesn't think I'm at a Sonic. Then after I click okay it just spins and nothing happens. I always have to push the button and tell them I have an online order
