After using their service few times my quick summary : a terrible service. Details: I rented a car for a day. The (plastic) handle of the trunk was in a bad contion and when I opend the trunk for the first time it got broken. I was asked 530 euros for the fix. I requested the details of the fix but never got it. I was forced by emails and phone calls to make the payment. So forget about insurance. You are on your own!

I am more than pleasantly surprised with this app. I was slightly hesitant at first and thought setting up your profile was a bit of a hassle, but now I'm really happy with it. It gives me a good feeling to be sharing cars with others when you need them!

Was good and fast to rent and pick up the car. Only I had problem to lock the car with remote key and took me 15 minutes to fix it. The battery if remote key was low.

Snappcar stole €5 from me yesterday during the 'verification' process, never had any issue with any other service and would consider myself proficient when doing this kind of thing. Have used two different car rental apps and had no issues whatsoever (sixt share, CARNOW) . I will tell anybody that brings up car sharing apps in conversation immediately which services not to use, this one included. Do not use Snappcar. Use CarNow or Sixt Share instead.

Total fraud. Asks for 5 EUR verification transfer, after which you get the message that "something went wrong with the verification of your account" and to contact the community support (and there is no way to do so from the app). In the meantime, 5 EUR is gone.

Very easy to use, very practical if you don't have a car yourself. And very nice you can always finf a car in the neighbourhood.

They keep your €250 deposit indefinitely until you ask it back in a well hidden corner of the app. Beyond rude. Responding to the developer; the problem is not that asking the money back is unclear, the problem is YOU DONKEYS JUST TAKING THE MONEY.
