[Description]

"SmartPassLock NFC" is a security lock screen application using the NFC (Near field communication).

You can protect the device which you are using from a malicious third party.

[Basic usage]

1. After installation, initial setup starts, and you register IC cards ("Suica", "nanaco", "Edy" and so on).

2. After you check that NFC is ON, the device is locked when device is in sleep mode.

3. The lock screen appears when you push the power button, and you can unlock it by touching it with the registered IC card.

You can register some IC cards ("Suica", "nanaco" and so on). You can prepare spare IC cards just in case that you lose the registered IC card, You can share the devices only among the people who are permitted to use them. 

You can add the registration upper limit by buying Add-on.

[Monitoring mode]

In addition to the normal mode, there is the Monitoring mode. While the monitoring mode is working, When Monitoring mode is enabled, "fake" pattern lock is displayed on lock screen.

If someone tries to unlock it, photos are secretly taken by the front camera to identify them.

The photos are saved in Gallery application.

On the Monitoring mode, you can unlock the device by touching it with a registered IC card like a normal mode.

[Precautions]

- This application locks your devices strongly. You cannot unlock the devices without registered IC cards ("Suica", "nanaco" and so on).

Please note that if you lose all of the registered IC cards, you cannot use your devices any more. We recommend registration multiple IC card.

*You can set up an alternative password just in case you lose IC cards. Please note that if you lose all of the registered IC cards and an alternative password, there is no way to rescue from the condition!

- Devices cannot be locked when Airplane mode is ON or NFC is OFF.

- Some of devices do not let NFC work while they are being charged.

    Does not work on my Pixel 3 stock. (1) After authentication and it returns control over to the stock Google Pixel 3 home application, "Pixel Launcher", the launcher no longer works properly. The is NO WAY to swipe up and get to your app drawer. So there is no way to access your apps AT ALL unless you have dragged one to the desktop or you completely uninstall this app. (2) Tapping the home button on screen does not return to your home page of apps (3) My in-purchases are lost if I reinstall it

    If the intent is to lock someone out who isn't tech savy, this is perfectly good. However, after my cat stole my yubikey and I had no way into my phone, I figured out all I had to do was reboot the phone and race the app. I managed to stop the service before it locked me out and then remove it. Additionally, there is no backup authentication method if you lose your key. This set me in panic mode when I lost the key, which lead to discovering how to bypass it.

    While the app works like it should and allows unlocking with a NFC key I have found that against a very determined adversary it is entirely possible to override this app and gain access to a phone without the physical key. If someone can unlock your phone they can hail Google Assistant and "Open Settings" this app will fight but fast switching between the lock and settings screen allows you to eventually force stop the app and the phone is now unlocked.

    No updates in years! Installed on galaxy s8 plus. Running Android 9. it has caused my refresh rate to drop. My app icons appear one at a time slowly.

    I opened the recent apps menu and clicked manage apps and was able to uninstall and gain access to the phone in seconds

    The app crushes everytime I click "Next" to choose it in the "Select a Home App" dialog, no matter how many times I re-install it or restart the phone...

    Too risky not to have a backup password and would work if it didn't share all your drop-down info before unlocking. Otherwise it's easy to install and a great app.
