VIZIO SmartCast Mobile is not compatible with legacy VIZIO Internet Apps® and VIZIO Internet Apps Plus® Smart TVs.

VIZIO Crave Speakers cannot output audio from TVs/displays or be connected as an additional channel to an existing sound bar or sound system. Additional supported SmartCast or Chromecast-enabled audio products are required (not included) for Multi-Room feature. Streaming different songs to different speakers at the same time is not supported when using a single app running on a single mobile device. To stream a different song to different speakers at the same time, you’ll need to stream from a different app or a separate mobile device.

    The app itself is ok and has more options then a remote, but it's always crashing, and when it crashes it won't connect to my Vizio display and it doesn't give me the option to reconnect so I have to uninstall it and reinstall to get it to work again, wich is really annoying! Please fix this, I really like this app but it's hard to use in the sense that every day I have to get rid of it and reinstall it it's an annoyance, but still it beats remotes so I still recommend.

    Doesn't work on Galaxy S10. Constantly freezes. Currently frozen with no way to do anything whatsoever within the app. Must uninstall. Again. 11/22/2021 - Still only works for a few minutes after opening the app. "Device no longer detected." Well, the device is definitely still there. When is this going to get fixed???

    One of the worst experiences I've ever had with technology. This app NEVER works. Oh sure, if you're lucky to luck into it working for perhaps 5 minutes, maybe you can change the bass or subwoofer, but 5 minutes later it acts as if you've never connected to the soundbar before. And won't, anymore. Utterly terrible. I've had a few friends ask about buying this at Costco and I've warned them off. So there you go, Vizio. You've lost hundreds to thousands of dollars from possible customers.

    Love the Elevate, hate the software. This isn't new, so that means they are pushing out updates without properly testing them and waiting for consumers to find the bugs AND having the consumers spend extra time to help them fix their software. Again, the hardware is good, but I expect more when there are similar options out there with comparable sound from companies like JBL, Sony, and Samsung.

    I have to uninstall and reinstall several times a week as it loses connection to the TV even though the internet connection is fine. There's no way to refresh the connection or reestablish it without uninstalling. Also the keyboard functions stop working randomly. Very frustrating.

    What an awful experience. Issues from the start trying to setup my Vizio soundbar. Finally got it setup but the soundbar has needed several factory resets over just a couple months and now I can't set it up at all because it fails to connect to my wifi every time I try. Tried on both an older Vizio TV and a new TCL 6series.

    Some problems fixed, others remain from the last update. I DO like the new browse section but haven't had a chance to really dig in to it yet. Last version was useless. I DO wish they'd stop putting controls so close to the screen bottom. Can't reach to use but keep hitting accidentally.

    When it works, it's decent. The problem is it nearly never works! I'd say roughly 80% of the time I open the app, it "Could not get audio settings" from my Elevate soundbar. This is completely unacceptable. A year of updates later, the reliability is no better at all. I've followed all troubleshooting steps repeatedly, it seems random whether it works or not. What is Vizio thinking? Create a new app and/or fix your equipment firmware.

    You will have to uninstall and reinstall the app atleast 3 times a week in order for it to work. The app struggles to connect to the tv. however, 3 times a week is less than once a day like it has been.

    Well i noticed that i had to connect the TV to the internet by using the app it's now connected i can now use the app as a digital remote to control the volume we just need to be careful with the internet connection and it will be fine
