These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

access Bluetooth settings
Allows the app to configure the local Bluetooth phone, and to discover and pair with remote devices.

Been great. Syncs when I open app, tracks everything. My only issue with either the phone or the watch, is that it stops recording my sleep every morning at 9:42am. I wake up at least 2 hours later than that because of my work schedule, so it's not fully recording my sleep. My Samsung Health app keeps better track of my sleep. I don't have any heart rate spikes to indicate waking up or getting out of bed. So how do I fix that?

manual There's potential here. But - like others - mine seems to only sync intermittently with Google Fit. Some days just don't ever show up. And there doesn't seem to be any place in the app that I can provide feedback or send an error report. I also am not in love with the UI; specifically I'd like a more standard approach on the home screen to switch days - a standard date slider or calendar metaphor would be better.

login I would give 5 stars, but it's very frustrating that it doesn't count all of your steps... if you're pushing a stroller, or walking a dog, and stopping and starting while walking, it doesn't record all of your steps. In the FAQs they state "use Sports Mode" ....but I can't find anything in the app to change to that.

  4. Aviamére-avatar

watch faces I really love this app and the SmartWatch I use it with. It kept an accurate track of how much I've slept and how much of excersize I've done throughout the day. The only thing I'd add is more detail; more facts about what you should be doing, like how much you should sleep or walk, could really help make it a five star app.

smart watch Watch works great. Records heart rate like it should. Records sleep, distance and steps. Only problem is notifications. can't get anything more then facebook, whatsapp, instagram, messenger, facebook messenger, email, and calendar. If you can please make it so it can receive all notifications. Any help on this would be appreciated.

bands Integration with Google fit is poor, HR data will not sync and in the VFP app I'm unable to see as much detail as I would like regarding historical HR data - all I can see is the average for each day, not an hourly breakdown. For the last few days it seems like it's stopped recording HR data at all! Just shows a generic average based off my past data. I have HR set to auto rather than manual, so in theory it should be measuring it somewhat frequently. Wish there was a good way to export the data

sleep time wrong This watch and app have many glitches. 1st, when I synced watch before bed on 2nd night, my previous night's sleep completely disappeared. Hubby has problems binding watch to phone. Doesn't alert him of calls/message. Settings correct. No blood pressure. Hubby and I both returning this junky watch, uninstalling apps and buying fit bits, which I know does BP and works VERY WELL. BYE Veryfitpro junk. Good riddance to bad experience, because I tried to save a few $$$$!!!!!!!

watches This app is absolutely shocking. Constantly dropping connection and will not pair I've updated my phone and bought newer model watch and still will not pair. This app is terrible my kids can produce a better app than this. Someone somewhere sat in an office is clearly not doing their job properly sort this software out it's disgusting.

not tracking sleep 100720 New watch, same issue with having to force close. Additionally, the step counter is NOT CORRECT. What used to be over 10k now reading 2k. What? Now will not track sleep. 8/27/20 Still the same 10 months later, now on Q/10! STILL Won't shut down w/o force stop. Idiot that I am, I bought another device 2; it won't pair. Update to 3/2, 9/2 and many other updates.update. Running on Android SamsungS9 plus+, on 10

review I am uninstalling this until you fix it. it has a major bug that makes it run in the background even when i uncheck all data reading options. It drains battery, and it has no need to be running all the time. Im also returning the phone, because its pointless without the app.

Using this app with a Letscom smart watch, I have recently started cycling and I made sure my location was on, set the cycling "on" from my watch and after a 30 min cycle, I have synced the watch to the app and found: Under the "Activities page" •App does not display the distance cycled or average speed When I click on "Bicycle" the map does not display my route, just a world map, Only stats recorded is Average Heart Rate, under "Average Heart Rate Zone Details" all the stats are blank!

  12. Jessica-avatar

Wore this yesterday for the first time while working. End of day it told me I has 13000 some odd steps, but when I woke up this morning and synced, it had dropped my steps to 5000 something and messed up my heart rate data as well. If this app doesn't even accurately keep track with daily syncing, there is no point to this watch.

  13. James Seechurn-avatar

    James Seechurn

Does the job. Particularly given the price of the device. Only thing is some of the labeling in the app is wrong. Resting and average heart rate are the wrong way round. Calories burnt is incorrectly labeled as "duration". Easy fixes though.

I am highly upset. There have been moments when I know I have walked a certain amount of steps but then the watch and app glitch and doesn't reflect the data accurately. It is definitely time to get a new watch and invest in a new app. No explanation as to why it glitches at all. 😕😡

Sept. 7th 2020 update broke the app. Since then I had crashing, installed and reinstalled the app, now my fitness watch will pair but not connect. Please fix. Also, app is cheap looking, I hate the orange background and wish I could change it. Just saying.

Horrible and pathetic app. It doesn't sync the data from my pedometer wrist watch automatically. It requires manual sync process daily. If we forget to sync on any day then previous day's data /step count is lost forever.

Not sure what's going on but this watch will track my steps throughout the day which is great but it will not track my sleep. Have had it 2 weeks now and wear it all the time (except in the shower) and I want it to track my sleep. Bought my husband this same watch 1 week after me and his tracks his sleep. How do I correct this issue?

I am liking it so far. Great to keep track of your steps and workouts. Yoga, home workouts, walking, running are a few activities which are included. It would have been great If there are few more dial settings and increased dial brightness as it is a bit hard to read the dial when outdoors in full sun. Otherwise, it's a great watch and a great app!!

I haven't had any issues yet, however, I wish it had the option of keeping track with my at rest calories burned (you know what my body uses just to function) and calories consumed. I'm having to go back and forth between this app and another, and neither are synced to each other. One is just on my phone, that I don't carry around with me all the time, so my steps and calories burned are off. This one is synced with my watch, not doesn't allow me to see all calories burned.

So far it's been alright. Some of the information isn't explained in detail, but it's easy enough to figure out through trial and error. Could really use further instructions or a tutorial. The main reason for cutting 2 Stars off my rating is the Details tab only tracking steps. It's labeled "activity" but it only tracks the weekly progress of steps, so there is no visual info on all the biking I do. Bike activity is there, but it's not graphed, so I have to dig to see progress.

  39. Sergeja-avatar

Unable to turn off the app. I have used 4 different 'smart watches' in the last 4 years, with this or similar apps. I was always able to turn the app off (I don't like apps running in the background) and only turn it on when I needed to sync my watch. With this version it is not possible at all. I can't even force stop it. I exit the app but the icon still stays in the status bar above with "VeryFitPro is running, Touch for more information or to stop the app." After force stop it starts again.

I'm liking it so far. It's only day one for me. I really like that it tracks sleep. It would be good to have an explanation of what the chart shows in detail however! I don't know how many REM cycles I had even though I believe I got enough "deep sleep". Can we work on that? Thanks! Will be doing my workout later so will update the review accordingly.

Had a fitbit with this app for about 2 years, and never had a problem until about a month and a half ago when my device stared disconnecting from my phone ( LG Stylo 4) and i would have to reconnect it several times a day. Was annoying but dealt with it. Then yesterday I updated the app and that was a huge mistake! White screen of death! Cant get the app to open, cant get my fitbit to work but nope. Please fix and will change my review!

This App is used with the WillFull Smattwatch. Can only use app to connect watch to phone. You can't connect the phone and watch via bluetooth direct. The Apo keeps turning off the Do Not Disturb on phone which is very upsetting as it stops the watch from communicating to the my Android. It also doesn't allow for you to track your dietary meal plans. And only allows 2 3rd party apps (googlefit, Strava)So if you use MyFitness Nope! No search for others either.

I like this watch and the app. They seem to be working well. I wish I could change the gender though. It will not switch from male to female. That is the only downfall. I've tried uninstalling but it simply won't change. Also when you first open the app it gives some pictoral discription of what it does then asks for your specific information, bday, height, weight, age. The app pairs easily to the watch. The app then opens to the homepage but does not hold onto the info you previously entered.

Very basic app, with a feeling that is was written by an intern. I had the silent alarm set for weekdays at 6:30. The alarm was going off every day, including weekends, at 6:35. I did factory restore, but it started again on the next day with alarm going off twice. I cannot see what was my heart rate during the day. Max, min, and average numbers are not enough. I would like to see a chart/graph. GPS is not working - I cannot track my walking/biking activity. I have the wrist sense off, but the watch turns on often on its own without touching Back-LP button. Having only 3 faces for this watch is not enough. On the upper right corner there is an icon that looks like tilted 8, that does absolutely nothing. Summary - you get what you paid for :(

Update 2020-07-26: They seem to have fixed the connection problem between my Android 10 phone and my watch. My phone has restarted for system updates a few times, and the connection has not been lost. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my running route to show up on the map in the app. Up-rated from 3 stars to 4. Old review With my previous phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7, VeryFitPro worked just fine. However, with my new Galaxy S20+, I am having connection issues. After several rounds of trouble, I have a reproducible pattern. 1) I install the VeriFitPro app from the Play store. 2) I get the app to connect to my fitness tracker watch. 3) I go through the several steps of entering my profile. 4) I log in with the app and get my data synced between the watch and the cloud. 5) I enable all the Phone and SMS notifications to the watch 6) I enjoy a working watch*. 7) I restart my phone for some reason not related to the watch or VeryFitPro. 8) The app loses connection to the watch. 9) I get upset. 10) I un-install the VeriFitPro app. 11) I restart my phone 12) I go back to Step 1 and repeat. * With each iteration, the enjoyment fades a little more. My wife has a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and a different fitness tracker that also uses VeryFitPro She has the exact same problem. It seems pretty clear that VeryFitPro has a problem managing Bluetooth when running on Android 10 devices. We have two different phones with two different fitness trackers, and we have the exact same problem. The only thing in common is the VeryFitPro app. It must be the problem. When the tracker is connected, there is a "Problems" page that gives some instructions about Bluetooth problems. I have tried all three approaches. The problem is that when I attempt to bind, In the "Add Device" screen, my device (and my wife's) is listed. I tap the item that has my tracker's device number and orange dots start spinning on the right side. After a while I get a pop-up that says ("Bluetooth connection timeout" Your Bluetooth connection may be abnormal. Please reset the Bluetooth connection in your phone Settings [Confirm]). I wondered whether my device in the list due to discovery or memory. I turned off my tracker and put it in my car. I walked over 130 feet (40 meters) away, with my house in between, and tried binding the device. The Add Device screen could not find any devices. I brought the tracker and my phone back near each other (less than 1 meter). Thus, we know my phone (and my wife's) is actively detecting the device via Bluetooth in the Add Device screen. But even with my device was back on the "Add Devices" list, it still would not bind. I feel sorry for the fitness tracker manufacturers that depend on the VeryFitPro app to make their product work properly.

Requires GPS location for no real reason. Even when all settings are enabled it can barely connect to watch. I had to update multiples the configurations such as weight - just to see they were wrong again and again. Metrics were wrong ( although this is probably now more on the watch rather than this app ). The watch even with male gender selected, shows and tracks a menstrual period - why? Either way not something I would recommend.

The app is overall good but after making this app either the developer is dead or seems to get forgot about the updation of the app. The app has not received it update since 3 years. It's a humble request to the developer either you update this app or sell this app who can update app on regular basis. 2 star is only for no update other wise it deserves 5 star.

Update to my previous review: I was getting a white screen and nothing else. Thought it wasn't compatible with my phone, but it worked my wife's Android phone which is the same. Reinstalling didn't work. I decided to try and delete just the app data (make sure it is installed, view app info, delete app data - look online for help) this fixed my issue and know working great. Maybe this will work for others with similar issues.

Update has killed the app! Used the app for years without issue. Got a new phone meaning I had to update to newest version of the app and all I get is a white screen so I can't synch my watch to my new phone at all. I use the watch as my alarm so this means I can't set my alarms at all as this is all done through the app. Seems like lots of people are in the same position and yet the developers still aren't fixing it!?

The watch works fine but the ap is total garbage. Almost always wrong about sleep times and counts awake time as sleep, along with other problems... Only use the ap to program my alarms on the watch. This does NOT keep accurate movement tracking NOR sleep info. ALWAYS WRONG, EVERY NIGHT. I would give -5 if i could

  54. Kelli Mullin-avatar

For some reason, this app transmits my original weight, instead of my current weight, to Google Fit. Then I have to manually modify every single entry so that my progress graph is accurate. This is a monumental PITA, since there are multiple entries for each day... 😳. I have to use Google Fit as the go-between for MyFitnessPal as VeryFitPro is not one of their recognized apps.

Doesn't work. I bought a new watch as I broke my existing one I was using and now i can't use it at all as the app doesn't work. Wish I'd read reviews in the update before getting a new watch just a waste of money now.

As someone else commented, if my watch didn't need the app, I wouldn't use it. One complaint is the mostly unreadable text other than the main functions. I'm most interested in heart rate and it seems to show today's info but the weekly view shows a constant number - useless!

Love it! Was hesitant to order the smartwatch because of so many reviews saying it didn't work after the latest update but I just got it and it works perfectly! Would like to request syncing with other apps such as Google fit and MyFitnessPal to make it truly what it needs to be. Got it primarily for music controls to skip songs while working out. Would really like to see volume control as well.

Please add a feature to edit and delete in the app! I need to be able to edit my sleep patterns since they are sometimes inaccurate and I want to be able to delete things too! If not then I will be returning my tracker because I got it to get a controlled look at how I do things, so if I can't even edit then there is no point. Thank you!

Updated review.... Turns out to be a very good tracking app. Heart, steps, and calorie burn appear quiet accurate. Gps tracking also very good. When using gps please only use the app. Open vfp app and look for a + sign on bottom middle screen in activity section. Hit the + and an option of activity comes up. On top right hand corner there is 3 dots ... Hit that and you can change activity. Then hit play button. When finished hit stop button. Relates to bv swo2 android 9.

Not sure why the daily calories don't add up correctly with the activities completed. Individual activities such as workouts, walking, etc show calories burned for each event which is great, but the duration of calories for the day are less than the recorded events. Something is amiss.

This app is okay at best. It is far from my favorite though. I can't switch because the Yamay fitness band I use doesn't sync up with any other app I use. If there was one thing I'd change, it'd be PLEASE let me set the times to refresh/sync the app with the bracelet. This app is linked to my Google Fit, which in turn is also linked to my Loseit app and Zero app. Which means everytime it refreshes/syncs it logs my weight in those apps as well and now while I was trouble shooting the app I have 16 entries for my weight that I can't delete. Sometimes I just want to look at the data not have the app automatically update everything. If it were possible to set it so that I can manually sync everything that'd be great and I might rate it higher but until then I've got a lot of repeated entries where I don't need them now.

App with a lot of bugs. The dashboard doesn't show the heart rate, inaccurate sleeping time, inaccurate gps tracking. I keep this app on my phone just because I got the umidigi Ufit watch but the experience has been quite frustrating, if I had known I wouldn't have bought that watch.

I rate it a two because I have a galaxy s 20 and I have connectivity issues. If I walk away from my phone it will not stay connected which is the entire purpose of the watch/app. Please fix. It would be perfect 👌 if this function worked with the bluetooth properly.

Whatever the reason, this software no longer works at all EXCEPT to reboot the watch. No calls, very few texts appear, and notifications from GroupMe have entirely stopped being relayed to this watch. Pretty much a complete failure of this software has rendered the watch to simply being a watch. Who needs that?

For the price I paid for I don't have much complaints(love amazon). It does what I want it to and has a great battery life on my watch. I'm not sure how waterproof the watch is, because I always take it off when showering. My only complaint is it will disconnect from my watch alot so I won't know if I'm getting calls or texts. I believe you have to keep wifi/data on and bluetooth possibly. I do LOVE it for reminders and alarms! Also the data it shows for activity, sleep, and heart rate.

Why does this app need access to my location to be able to sync with the watch? I think it also wanted access to my files. The app drinks the battery power on my phone - I've gone from 4 weeks between charges down to 10 days. It never displays the same reading for heart rate (around 50) as I get on the watch (starts at 100ish and drops to about 80 over the course of a minute)

Alarms do not delete. There is no way to delete a set alarm, only turn off. So when your kids play with your watch you end up with a tonne of alarms that you cannot delete, only disable. They can enable them with one push of the button. Not fun early in the morning.

I really thought it was something I did until I came back on the Playstore and saw so many other reviews with the same issue. Well, as of yesterday(May 31, 2020) it did it again. All I can say is that I've experienced all the problems other users have reported! At least once a week the bluetooth connection is lost between my phone and the watch, so I'm always having to go through the whole process of unbinding, restarting my phone to get it to pair again, binding, logging into my account, and setting it all up all over again. The app itself is ok, though it takes a while to refresh with the updated information.

It's been a pretty good little app and piece of equipment. However. It has stopped working in odd ways. It will NOT sync with Strava no matter what you do and now it just stopped working entirely. The watch is reading in military time and will no longer sync with my phone. It's a shame, I loved it. It was small, simple and all I needed. Now, it's a paperweight.

The core functions work well. It syncs my steps, but if my watch didn't require this app, I wouldn't use it. There is no way to manually record workouts, so l you can't go back and record it. The lack of graphs for data is disappointing. The ones it does have are hard to follow. The female health tracker is not ideal. I just want one to track my cycle and symptoms, can't track symptoms. Also, no way to turn off reminders.

Absolutely worthless! The tracker itself gets maybe 1.5 stars, as most of the features don't work. The app worked ok for a while, but now it does not. Bluetooth issues. I've had this watch for about a year, with no troubles. Suddenly I'm unable to pair the watch to the phone - get the same bluetooth abnormal message. Have they lost bluetooth or android support? It's an odd problem to develop. Firmware and app are up to date, so what has changed? Sometimes unbinding, deleting app and reinstalling works, but not always. How many bad reviews before developer notices? Plus, the app blames the phone "your bluetooth is unstable." No, it's you.

This app worked extremely well on an iPhone 7. I would have given it 5 stars then. Now that I have a Samsung A40, it won"t work at all; won't pair, won't do anything. Wish I knew of an alternative. Well, after a day of just sitting on my phone, the app has decided to work! Just as it used to, absolutely no problems! Wonderful! I've put the stars back to 5!

I think 2.5 stars would be a better representation, buy I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Has some decent features, not too much u can really do with the app tho. Change a couple of setting perhaps. That's not the problem tho, connection is the problem. It doesn't just automatically connect to the watch when in range, can take quite awhile. And that's all u really need or want it to do. Also if u do disconnect, trying to reconnect can be a hassle.

I've had this device since May 9th, then by the 11th it started with the "abnormal blue tooth connection". This is the second day I've lost connection overnight. I'd have to unpair the device on the app, restart my phone, then pair it. That would cause to me to re-set up the app preferences and that's just plain annoying...what is going on with this thing? It's even got the latest updated version thing. I will give it a higher rating if they fix that, otherwise the device works just fine.

This app is great when it actually connects to the watch, but when it disconnects it's a huge pain trying to reconnect it. I don't even know how many times I've had to uninstall and reinstall this app just to help it reconnect to the watch only to struggle with it for days before I can get it to reconnect. I am constantly trying to reconnect to the device but it can never seem to find the app with the bluetooth. The watch carried on throughout my ride but none of the information was sent to app. On the phone. So the distance, route and heart rate did not show up. Great little tracker trash app. I dont receive notifications of any kind, alarms, text or missed calls as I am supposed to and everything is set as it should be to receive them. Most irritating and inconvenient is that every time my phone goes dead, gets turned off or I am too far away from my phone for more than a sec it disconnects from bluetooth and I cant get it reconnected. Tried everything FAQ says to do, unbind, bind, uninstall, reinstalled, turn off bluetooth, turn on bluetooth, turn off phone, turn on phone... nothing is working now to connect the watch to the app... basically a glorified watch at this point --- so if you don't care about tracking and are just interested in daily steps you can see on the watch only --- that part works --- oh! Look, no one is buying the watches that go with this app because they expect it to actually be super accurate or trustworthy. Expectations were low. It's still a disappointment because syncing with Google Fit doesn't work. Heart rate and sleep data mostly transfers, but trying to sync a workout... well, it's better to just start a workout on your watch and a workout on Google Fit and just use the watch to keep track of time and distance during your workout. Sync is pretty unusable.

I like the tracker itself, a lot. The first couple of days, the app worked fine. No problem pairing, and it took all of my data. Now, the last couple of days, it will not sync. Doesn't matter what I do, how many times I install or uninstall, or how many tricks I find on Google, it does not remain synced. And that's a shame, because conceptually, it's great. This is a very simple tracker, but it does what I simply needed to do. Unfortunately, the app does not follow.

Cannot change language (currently in Chinese) and cannot activate unit to use GPS (currently showing a city in China, labelled/written in Chinese language). Send developer two separate emails and no response yet.

The watch is a scam, most functions either function so poorly that they might as well not exist, or flat out don't work at all. (The heart rate, for example, is a completely randomly generated number. I was able to find a pulse in random household objects, as well as the open air.) I would not recommend giving any money to this company, and I certainly won't be buying or using any of their products ever again.

Great app keeps my daily routine up to date without any issues. It let's you see what you have achieve end of each week, hove yourself a pat on the back. It is about you taking responsibility for your own health and fitness. I have it 5 stars as I started with the basic and now bought a new veryfitpro watch and now can keep a record of everything I do with my fitness.

I linked the call settings to my phone and it hangs up every time I answer my phone now. The steps and sleep settings are good though. I like that you can use it to take pics too.

I would like to say this app is very good especially now I've got it to work properly which I might add did take some doing, although that was probably more due to user error than app error. I do have to say the newer version interface is a lot harder to follow than the older one 👍for the old one not so much for the new one.

The band itself is fantastic for the price. App is disappointing. Will not sync steps to Google Fit which is what I really want it to do. Sleep and weight sync fine so I don't get why the most important thing (steps) won't! Hope they fix it soon. Look and feel could use a refresh as well.

It worked for a few months, but now it doesn't connect to my phone, even after resetting my BT, power cycling my phone and the watch itself. No pairing. The FAQs aren't too helpful either. Tried to pair both through the app and through my phone, but nothing works. SO disappointed.

I'd save your money and get an actual fit bit or other name brand smart device. At least their site works and has customer service. The app sucks. Tracker will not stay connected to the app, have to delete the app and restart my phone several times a day and the tracker will stay connected for about 20 minutes. Very frustrating as I need to log my steps for my health plan at work and I have no way to go back and see what my day was like since it wont connect. Would give zero stars if I could

Every day I have to reset the target weight as it keeps dropping t 132. This involves redynvhing bvb the devise, force dtopping and restarting the app then setting the target weight to what I want Also frequently it completely misses a sleep cycle. By now I have to uninstall the app. Turn off bluetooth. Install the app and it might connect. No promises. All history is lost.

Pros: Very simple to install and connect device to phone, seems to work well, but I'm only one week in. It connects to Google Fit so you can still use that app. Cons: Charts are too small to read on standard sized phone. Display is impossible to read outside. Blood pressure monitor is a joke. My lower number is always 35. Overall the Fit Fort device I bought does exactly what I needed it to do for a small fraction of a Fitbit. And my fiancee's fitbit is always having sync problems and other failures. I wish VeryFitPro had a website I could view my data on since it's hard to see on the phone.

The app is good and reliable, but I woud expect the "share" option to export the data into a readable format, rather than a screenshot that can be easily taken on any smartphone anyway

App worked OK at first. There is no way to force the watch or the app to reconnect without restarting the watch. It doesn't reliably sync data between the phone and the watch. On the bright side, I only paid $30 for the watch and I'm not convinced a smart watch is a worthy investment at this point. It's cool when it works but the cheap ones don't reliably and I'm too clumsy to justify an expensive one that's just going to get beat up.

Poor and frustrating. Just as many others have said, you get an "abnormal Bluetooth " message all the time. After a phone update it just loses all the accumulated data of steps, sleep etc. Also my steps seems very inaccurate, so don't really know how reliable the heart rate is and it wouldn't sync on a bike ride, so got no info after that. Really disappointing.
