It worked well at first, then I started noticing it wasn't going off when set. I would then set another alarm for just a couple minutes into the future, and watch it...of course it went off, because, while a watched pot never boils, a watched electronic device almost never fails. It seems to be hit-or-miss whether the alarm sounds or not. This unreliability isn't acceptable, uninstalling as soon as I find a replacement.

Seems like a good app but this morning the alarm didnt go off at all. My chromebook didnt make a sound. My alarm is turned on and I have a recording as my alarm. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction.

Has options other alarm apps do not. I really like that there's a preliminary alarm BEFORE the actual alarm. I set the volume much much lower than the other. This helps me not have to wake up feeling like it's Christmas morning when I was a child. That anxiety is the WORST to wake to. This is the best of the six open source alarm apps I tried. It has been reliable in ~6 years of use. My favorite feature is the numeric keypad for setting alarm times, which is much faster than the clock sliders in most apps. I also like the display of hours and minutes until the next alarm, which reassures me that I got AM/PM right. Tip: the Classic layout in Settings prevents annoying mis-taps by moving the alarm on/off switch to not be right next to the edit alarm tap area.

Decent alarm clock! After awhile though, it quits working. I've relied on it for a few years now, but maybe after a year or so each time, I've had to uninstall and reinstall it as I've been late to work a couple of times, by that point. It's a great alarm clock for short term use!

Every single time an alarm goes off, the sound fades in so slowly that it barely wakes me up over half the time. And NO, smooth/gentle wakeup is NOT ON.

Superb Alarm Clock! Free. No ads. Complete set of features. Set one-time alarms or repeat weekly. Love that alarm begins softly, then increases volume. No jolting wakeups. Clear, simple, intuitive controls. I have used it for 2 years and am very happy with it.

Works when phone on mute...I was looking for an app that would allow me to keep the sound on the phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) turned off, yet would sound an alarm (as my old Blackberry KeyOne would). This app is it! Simple to use, no ads, no BS. Love it!

I like the ap except for the ringtone used as the default and the fact I cannot seem to change it in settings. I really do not like the Morning Glory ringtone. Everything else is terrific.
