Reviews From google play store

This is the Free version, which is OK, but quite basic. I had previously paid for the Plus editions of versions 3, 4 and 5 which were very good, but as each new version came out, the version I had would stop working, and there was no discount for the new version. Whatever developments were made in the background for each new version, the user experience remained largely the same, but I couldn't just stick with an older version as it stopped working. Very unfair of the devs and I won't buy again

I found this app a very good detailed guide. I've paid for the extensions and these really add to the overall guide, by zooming in on a planet, star or nebula system, this has an audio part which if the information icon is clicked tells you all about the particular subject. With a night mode which is ideal when outside with your telescope I would highly recommend this app.

Pretty good, except it does not include a number of satellites in the data list. I found this to be rather disappointing, because the app has so many other really great features. I just personally think that the number of moons a planet has should be one of the things you can conveniently glean from a data list.

I really enjoy this App. I use it to get me started in the vastness of our galaxy. It does work great, i have had others and found them more cumbersome..I WOULD LIKE TO SEE....a save button for stars i would like to see instead of having to type them in every time. You bounce back n forth a little often and have to type in the search bar their names. Like the Polaris..or the planets.. be nice to click the one i save every night..We can all wish on a star. Even 6 stars as a rating. Cheers

I am an astro photographer and this is by far my favorite application for looking up future skies and where the stars and constellations will be. Very easy to use. Recognizes nebulas and clusters. Moon and plants. All for free. Very awesome app. Very happy with it.... so much that this is my very first app review and am that excited about it that I had to review. Download and enjoy.

Compass will lock up some and I feel calabratilon never is exact with my phone, but still can figure out with little knowledge of the heavens. Other then that it's easy to use with multiple settings to choose from, no ads is always a plus, overall it's a fun and easy app.

Here's One part of this app that is not free. if you want to add the cosmos in this app, that part costs you money, which is only $3.99. You have to pay for it only by a credit or a debit card, or Verizon Wireless (no cash or money orders allowed). In order to get a part of an app, you have pay for it, which is to me is too ridiculous and you will need a credit card. Something is wrong with the compass in this app, which it won't stay off, it is locked on in the app, it can't shut off.

Compared to stellarium I like this more when I need to bring up an app while I'm observing. Forget if the mobile stellarium does this, but night mode turning off the touchkey lights on my android phone is so incredibly nice to preserve dark adaptation.

Very very Cool , with a Capital C !!!l Its fairly accurate, once you get the perspective down . It also has eerie ambient 'lunar' music and is equipped with a ton of different enhancement and info settings. I use it a few times a week, if not more.

I am in love with this app! I not only love the night sky/outer space but I'm learning night photography and this app helps a lot! I love that I can change the background and the music. Has lots of settings! I usually am bothered with notifications and this is the ONLY app I allow to give me notifications! I love it and recommend!

Love it except that I don't want those annoying notifications every time something rises or sets. I cannot find how to turn these off. I could not find this simple task in settings. Where is it?

Awesome! No problems so far and i use it every time I use my telescope. The night mode helps with light pollution and the music is chill.

I am a complete novice but absolutely love this app. It's beautiful, totally self explanatory, gives you a choice if just finding out the stars right in front of you or going more in depth. I love the red night setting. Great app!

I love to use this tool to just explore the sky and become familiar with the star names, their history and their locations in the consteliations so when I go visit them in Space Engine I can get a sense for the local environment around our star system.

This was a great app until it started crashing. It's useless to me now. The sky chart does not move around to where you are looking anymore. If this changes, I'll fix my review.

Hell, I have been using this application on all the devices I have had to get. I am impressed with this application due to its accuracy with the heavens. People keep stealing my phones because of what I do with them. I take over things with them. I use your application to navigate in the dark of the cloudiest night, deepest woods, and just gaze at the stars. I am trappedinthesystem.stm.mtx, aka, Snapdragon, and I am your biggest fan. Keep upgrading.

This is the best of the the 3 astronomy apps I use, has many useful features. The audio is interesting to listen to, especially on cloudy nights.

It worked good for the 1st month. After the last up date, it just doesn't do the sky compass. Which is the only reason I payed for this app!

I absolutely love this app! I have learned so much by using it and am amazed at all the amazing things I can see from my front porch! I can't wait to go on vacation a d use it to explore the night sky in a different location. the app is aesthetically pleasing with soothing music and there is a plethora of information . I do not have the paid version so I don't know what I am missing from the paid features but the free version suits my needs very well

Great Interactive Star Chart. From the days of books and star wheels, I find this app fantastic. I just received a notice about the HST rising. Truly great for the casual star gazer.

Great app! Easy to use, very interesting and thorough info on each star and planet. I'm hooked to going out and mapping the sky every night!

Not only is this the best live astronomical sky map I've ever come across, it has also worked flawlessly for months. This thing is packed with enough information to occupy my curiosity for the next few years. But then again, as your tour guide to the known universe, I guess that isn't surprising. I bow to the developers, and blow them kisses of gratitude.

The SkySafari apps have always been my favorite astronomy apps. Have used them since they were introduced over multiple platforms. I have used about every astronomy app ever invented, but the SkySafari series are the one I trust.

Amazing app. Worms so fearfully when I am stargazing, whether using my eyes or telescope. Also gives you information on the target you are viewing

Great free app for amatuer astronomers or learning the sky. It's just like Celestron's sky portal but better. More options/features that make things easier & quicker to use. Covers stars, binaries/trinaries, constellations, pulsars, planets, moons, clusters, nebulas, galaxies, comets, asteroids & man made satellites. Everything is tracked in real time from whatever location you choose. Huge object data base with photos and object info/history. I highly recommend this app.

Very helpful. I am able to confirm the identity and track objects in the sky. Very useful tool.

Extremely useful and versatile app, it is right on the money when I point it at the sky. I honestly don't know how I managed before.

This app is really quite beautiful and profound - a true work of art. It immerses you in the cosmos and provides every conceivable tool to identify and locate celestial bodies. i just found out yesterday that it also tracks the ISS. It is an uplifting experience to be able to gaze at the universe in 360 degrees. I am tempted to invest in a telescope as a complement to this wonderful piece of software. I love the ethereal background music as well. Though of course you can switch that off too.

I love it! One of the best, but a tad bit off while aiming the phone. Just a little

Great app for helping a beginner astronomer, along with a star chart, digital inclinometer, printable setting circles for a dobsonian telescope. Makes finding celestial objects much easier.

useful in finding and identifying objects. charts seem to run a bit ahead (1-2 hrs ish). I usually run the track to get an idea of where it was and where it is headed. with that said, lots of information fairly intuitive to use.

I use this extensively on clear nights and it's really great to identify the stars and planets I am looking at

Very helpful in locating object (as long as the object is included in the database)

Extremely helpful for Beginners and looks advanced for when you want to progress. Excellent app! High quality too

This app is Cosmic. Had to add, the more i play around with this app the more I like it. It really is a great app if you like the night sky.

I am a beginner. App is very easy to understand and use. I love the night and today features.

Beautiful interface. Easy to use. No ads. Thumbs up.

Thumbs up for this app. Its very helpful for my astrophotography. Thank you very much!

Absolutely love it! Point it at something in the sky and it will tell you at what you're looking.

One of the best astronomy apps definitely worth the money and if you don't want to buy it download Google rewards and you'll have enough money eventually for free

very easy to use and plenty of information, one of the better apps.

This app is great for teaching kids star/ constellations. A real pleasure to use and informative things to learn.

this app has helped me find good stars to align my goto telescope with, and deep sky objects to image. i would like it if you guys would make it so you can make your own background using 4 pictures or a video, that would be very cool.

I like the background music. I don't understand the compass. It seems to indicate off when working and on when not working. The horizon seems a little off for my Salt Lake County location.

Amazing detail and information. All an amateur astronomer needs besides a telescope.

I love this app. It's mesmerizing. The background music is so soothing!

Awesome. The app gave a notification of ISS Zyra rising and helped me track the ISS thru it's path. It was an awesome experience.

Very easy to use!! Excellent for amateurish sky gazing and universe explore.

Very easy to use. I like the background music while looking at the stars

A very intuitive star gazing app with many useful options.

Great app. Would be so much better if the developers added filters on electromagnetic spectrum ( xray, gamma near and far infrared near and far uv and radio etc etc) so we can see what the human eye cannot perceive

I give it a solid 5. Easy to use. I can find what I am looking for, discovery new things, and I love the music

I truly enjoy the visual location for what I'm looking for, along with the in depth description of the constellation. Thank you for a great app.

the compass feature is way off and calibrating isn't working. i aimed it directly at the Moon and the screen is telling me the moon is off the map. gonna try a different app.

After spending time with the app and playing with the various menu items I enjoyed learning about the night sky.

I like it but the only thing I dont like is that when you spin the phone or iPad it doesn't move.

I love it. I am a star gazer from old but know nothing this app is so useful to me.

Interesting and informative guide to the sky. Great for getting youngsters interested in Astromony and science

Perfect for amateur astronomers. Provides detailed star map with all major planets and deep-sky objects marked. Gives detailed information and observation tips for all of those.

I like it and am learning more about it all the time. It is clear and colorful with a lot of options.

This app does an excellent job of showing the visible night sky.

I tried a few similar apps. SkySafari seems easy to use and I haven't experienced any negatives.

Easy to use....many options for viewing differt objects in the sky. I like the alerts that I get when a celestial event occurs.

Excellent app, helped me track the ISS, observe Andromeda galaxy, Plaideas clusters, etc

Nice, easy and clear... A lot of user customization

Gone downhill. App used to track sky with movement of the phone...

Perfect app for me personally. It helps me read my day to day life through astrology, so getting help with the exact location of the stars benefits me more. Thanks guys for such an app.

I love the FREE Sky Safari App. It is the best free android planetarium App available @ the Google play store!

It put the sky in focus if you are just starting to look at the stars. Awsome!! Puts you on the spot.

Wonderful app for photographers in astrophotography. Also just fun to look at and learn

Works well satifieng to user I liked the idea that you can "travel in time"

Easy to use. Great for planning and setting up night sky photo shoots.

Excellent, playing with the settings allowed me to tailor the display as I required. Was then able to remove 2 other apps I had previously been using.

So far looks great and lots of info I am new to the night skys I find it very helpful

Very useful for planning astro sessions when far from your PC .Excellen

Most accurate, and informative Sky/Star app I've used . Very user friendly as well!!

Did love this app, but skyweek won't update anymore, please fix this

Very fun. Very customizable. Accurate.

I paid for skysafari pro, put it on several new phones. Now it's not available. And I'm not paying for it anymore.

Little to no interruption from ads. Gives me everything I was expecting.

Great app, very helpful in letting me know current night objects allowing me setup my telescope with ease

Direction location is not stable. It is wobbly and not accurate. Have to use finger to correct and hold correct direction.

Awesome app with a whole lot of specific information ranging from the astronomical to the historical. Great work devs!

Always loved astronomy. This app is easy to learn and use.

Easy to use and great for the family. Brought back a lotpf good memories.

Use it to spot milky wsy and celestal objects. Very easy to use and with beautiful graphics.

I'm astounded by the quality, it's so clear and informative.

Just started using the app today. Looks good. Looking forward to identifying actual constellations. Love the way this app looks.

Absolutely fantastic content and graphics!!

Point and look, it's that simple! Love it!

Great app !! It is the best app i recommend for users Make more updates

I love the fact it will follow the sky when trying to identity objects

Love it. Particularly interesting when on holidays abroad under unfamiliar skies.

extremely accurate. some difficulty understanding how to personalise screen.

its Amazing, Really Accurate working with accurate compass snd soothing background sound...

I have to laugh at the "Google User' comment dated 6/28/2019. They obviously don't know how to use a compass. . seems like a good app. I may go outside now and check it out.

Easy to use good graphics lots of information

Very helpful app. and easy to use

excellent, works very well and has restful music.

This is a great app and very versatile with the configuration settings.
