Pretty solid but some keys act like they're "sticking". You can press it and see the highlight for selection but the letter doesn't show up on the screen. I know it is the app because its the only time the touch screen has any issue and using other keyboards doesn't have this problem.

Just fantastic. I only now realized how much space gboard was taking up for the last 2 years, full of nonsense features I NEVER used. Plus I found the amount of User Data it needed was bizarre for a FLIPPING keyboard. Just swapped it out with this, set the Material Light Border theme, and it feels like nothing's changed. I'm definetely making typos a bit more, but I'll adjust eventually. Seriously, I can not thank you enough for this app.

I cant describe how smooth, minimalist, smooth and good it is. I was previously using Touchpal which was a lot slower and annoying. It is a boon for low budget phone or tab. I have a request for you; sometime I use my physical keyboard on my phone. So can you make an option for physical keyboard mode(virtual keyboard will not interfere when working in mobile or tab in landscape mode with physical keyboard attached) or expand the keyboard height scale from 0 to 150(which is currently 50 to 150).

I love it!! Only thing i would suggest, is the ability to select keyboard sound, or optionally make a few blip sounds available within the app in a future update..coz the typewriter sound for the keyboard is way antiquated. Other than that, is perfect!!!

Updated review 2021: I originally tried this app in 2019 and it just didnt work at all, it did not even show up in settings so I gave it a bad review, I re-installed in 2021 and it now works well. I have no idea why it didn't work back then, but it works now! I had been using jbak keyboard, but it started getting buggy.
Beta Trial
Edit, Thanks for response Developers!! Reinstalled. There are Settings with several choices. Just click "Preferences". Did not notice, as on install, this is grayed out on my Tab S6 Lite tablet, until permissions are granted. Typing sound now turned off. Great little fuss free keyboard. I love it!

Unless I missed something and I could have, there's no microphone to do text to speech. If I'm wrong, however, I will increase the stars because it does what it says it will do and it offers a dark theme keyboard which I need. I'm keeping it on my phone as a backup for a different keyboard that is very customizable, has an incredible number of keyboard theme options, although I just chose one of them. I liked it being simple but not that simple.

Nice, lightweight and clean - all you need from a keyboard... i'd only love to see some key arrangement options (i.e. to move 2nd row keys a bit to the sides or to make keys a bit wider - i think it might help some mispelled words to dissapear)... in Croatian i'd like to see "š" letter as 1st suggestion on "s" longpress, "ž" on "z" longpress and "čć" on "c" longpress because they're used more than other suggested letters\symbols... (edit: letter 1st suggestion works on Serbian variant)

Non-intrusive, no ads, no over-customizability. Just plain simple keyboard for your privacy and simplicity. Might need an option to hide simple kayboard icon from homescreen and app drawer, though.

So far I really like this app it's great I can change the size of the keyboard make it bigger without having to download another app for older people like me who need to see the keys. The only thing I would like is that it would have a little icon for a speaker (meaning it has voice speech so that I could speak when I'm texting. Other than that it's a great feature so far very simple very easy to use I love the colors and the appearance everything on it.
